The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Bay Cottage

A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Luxury cottage in stunning surroundings.

Luxury summerhouse from 2022 in lovely surroundings with a great view, located in a secluded spot with an incredibly rich wildlife. You can meet hares right outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for toddlers, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023 it is possible to rent access to the jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. 1000kr for 1 day, the following days it costs 500kr per day.

"Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

Relax in this older and quiet home that my grandfather built in 1928 and has been home to my family. The house is located in an old town by Trangisvåg fjord - half an hour walk from Tvøroyri. The nature experiences are right outside the door. Walks in the mountains, fishing, sea baths, birds, flowers, seaweed, photo, painting, tranquility but also friendly people. Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. Comfortable and nice accommodation in the middle of Tvøroyri. Walking distance to grocery stores and pizzeria/burger place. Spacious accommodation and very comfortable bed. Easy check-in and check-out. I would gladly come back.

Wow! One of the coziest places I’ve ever been. It’s a beautiful old house with a modern bathroom and kitchen, a gorgeous view and all the amenities you could think of. We even got to try some local beer! Jákup was very friendly and always quick to respond. Húsavik is a bit difficult to get to, but it is very worth it as a tranquil retreat for a few days.

Nice place to stay in a quiet village. Ocean views from the kitchen. House clean and was well stocked. Kitchen was well appointed with equipment. Bathroom was large and clean . Lundry machine was a very nice addition.
