House vacation rentals in San Sisto

Where to start? I truly can't say enough good things about this property. It exceeded expectations in every way. From start to finish, our time here was a delight. Amanda was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location is remote, and a bit of adventure to get to, but Amanda had communicated that and we were prepared with the proper rental car that made it a breeze. The house is beautifully appointed, has every amenity, and lots of perfect spaces for both quiet moments and areas to gather with your group. The outdoor spaces and pool area are lovely, beautifully landscaped, and the views are spectacular. Book this place; you won't be sorry.

Stayed here last week for 5 days. On arrival we were met with a welcome basket of food a bottle of wine a bottle of homemade olive oil and also bottles of water on arrival. The pictures don’t do it justice it felt like a place out of a fairytale, the property is surrounded by tons of olive trees and greenery. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is place to go. Rosella was amazing with quick responses and extremely welcoming, we are definitely going again next year.

We had a wonderful holiday and are very grateful to Flavia for being responsive and accommodating. And massive thanks to Giuseppe who helped us so much throughout the week, from greeting us on arrival and providing advice and suggestions, and saying farewell when we left. The house was beautifully presented with great attention to detail: comfortable, equipped with what we needed, tidy and clean. The gardens were gorgeous, lots of flowers when we visited in late May, and the trees around the perimeter create a sense of seclusion and tranquility, and yet you can see Trevi up on the hill and are in a great location for getting to shops, train station, roads etc. I've never seen so many different species of bird in one garden, it was wonderful! I would be delighted to have the chance to go back and would happily recommend this lovely house to my friends and family. We really felt able to relax and didn't want to leave! Grazie mille, again.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem absolut niedlichen Haus, das inmitten atemberaubender Natur liegt. Die Ruhe ist einzigartig – man hört nur das Zwitschern der Vögel, und hin und wieder zeigen sich Rehe am Waldrand. Einfach magisch! Der Pool war top gepflegt und man hatte richtig Ruhe. Ein echtes Highlight war für uns die Küche: So liebevoll eingerichtet und außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet – das haben wir so noch nie erlebt! Der Gasherd und der hochwertige Backofen haben das Kochen zu einem Vergnügen gemacht. Gastgeber Diego war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich bei ihm sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein perfekter Rückzugsort für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und liebevolle Details zu schätzen wissen.

Floriana’s villa was amazing. They views were breathtaking and she went out of her way to make it special. She arranged for a wine tasting and a scavenger hunt for our kids while we tasted some of Umbria’s finest. The kitchen was great and they even provided a staff member to set up a fire so we could cook a couple of amazing steaks on an open fire outside. The pool was gorgeous and the grounds were perfect for us to take walks in the AM and even open space for our kids to play. There was plenty of room inside and you could easily have two families of 5 each feel comfortable. Floriana also set up a wonder pasta making class and to quote my wife - it was one of the best experiences she has had as a family on vacation.

Phenomenal. Beautiful villa with unbelievable views. Spacious two bedroom and third big loft area. Great kitchen, well equipped. Lovely outdoor spaces and pool. Up a long dirt road but our car had no problem. Michela and Marco were so organized, meeting us to show us and providing lots of recommendations. So peaceful!

We stayed at Federica’s place for two months and couldn’t be happier. She is a wonderful host and Marisa takes great care of the house. It is a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, but a few minutes away from Monte Castello, Todi and Marsciano, all of which have great restaurants. It is also a great base to visit the cities around Umbria (we went to Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Orvieto, etc.). And also a few cities in Tuscany (we visited Siena and Florence). The house is big and comfortable. We had different friends and family members visiting us during our long stay and it never felt crowded. I would definitely recommend this place for long and short stays in Umbria. I hope I can come back soon!

Upon arrival it felt like a page out of a story book. The Italian cypress’s that lined the pebbled drive way let us to the quaint French country style guest house, the decor was absolutely beautiful. I love to cook and will say that the kitchen and refrigerator are dorm-like - don’t plan on doing anything but pasta - there is no oven and the refrigerator holds very very little, the sink is beautiful but very very small - hard to wash pots- but nonetheless with a little creativity you can make it happen, or just make sure to plan your meals at restaurants. Keep in mind that most restaurants in the area close on Tuesdays and some on Wednesdays…. And close early on weekdays, plan accordingly. The pool was amazing - best of all it is a salt water pool and small kamikaze-like birds give you a show every afternoon around 5:30 pm- a must see. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The host was incredibly attentive.

first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

Apartmán nás skutočne očaril, izby pekné, čisté s klimatizáciou, štýlové, v obývačke veľká Tv, kuchyňa so všetkým čo tu má byť. Samotný "rezort" bol na kopci s krásnymi výhľadmi, obrovská záhrada, bazén, všetko štýlové také Toskánske, okolie prenádherné, pohoda, kľud,pokoj, všetko čo tu potrebujete tak aj nájdete. Ako vravia Taliani, je to tu " Tutto bene"

Alessandro is a very nice and thoughtful host. The place and the view is great. It has everything you need for your trip (probably best for couples or on your own). Having a car is almost non negotiable but that also makes it very calm and quiet. Groceries and some great ice cream are close by. Can only recommend!

Mario's welcome with a good bottle of red wine and local cookies was a great start for a long peaceful week. The house is located in one of the nicest spots in Umbria. We could have stayed there much longer in order to experience all the finest places Umbria has to offer. Tsvi

Para valorar esta propiedad, hay que empezar por el ANFITRIÓN, un profesional en toda regla. Desde el minuto 0 de la reserva, hasta la salida; siempre atento, muy amable y muy profesional. Es un placer conocer gente seria y esto la da un valor a la aplicación. La beach house, es un paraíso en Italia. Fácil acceso, cuidado al detalle, paz, naturaleza, comodidad. Nuestro viaje era en familia con nuestros dos caniches y creo que fueron los que más disfrutaron de la propiedad, verlos correr y saltar por las zonas verdes de la propiedad y convivir con muchas aves, conejos no tiene precio. Nuestra hija disfrutó su estancia estudiando y con la paz y tranquilidad del lugar, no le costó nada concentrarse. Nosotros en cambio, hicimos turismo por la zona, todo muy cerca y bien comunicado por carretera. Es una propiedad muy cuidada, segura y sobretodo disfrutar de sus puesta de sol, sentado en una tumbona, disfrutando de un buen vino (de la zona) es una experiencia irrepetible. Gracias Maurizio.

This was our 5th trip to Orvieto and this AirBnB is the absolute winner. We called it our Palazzito--small palace. Everything was top notch--from the decorations to the furnishings to the amenities. And the rooftop patio is stupendous Highly recommended!

Casale posizionato magnificamente: la piscina dà su una vallata con vista Todi. I tre appartamenti di cui è composto sono molto pratici e ben accessoriati. Un ampio parcheggio e un enorme giardino coronano il tutto. Il signor Giancarlo è presente tutti i giorni per controllo e manutenzione. Unico neo, a seconda del vento e del clima, si avverte la presenza nelle vicinanze di un allevamento di ovini. Resta una meta magnifica, posizionata a meno di un'ora da orvieto, assisi, bevagna, bomarzo ecc. spero di ritornarci!

Finding a house close to Perugia and Assisi was my only requirement. Little did I realize that I would be lucky enough to find a MAGICAL place, owned by the very BEST of people! The house: tucked away high up in the mountains, with expansive and breathtaking views of the valley below and the hills of Umbria all around us. In a medieval town, population of 25, that is serene and peaceful. The house itself is beautifully designed and decorated, Clean, neat, inviting. With an amazing private garden overflowing with wildflowers. The best part: the owners, Alessio and Alessandra. Alessio was in touch with me before our arrival, extremely welcoming and full of suggestions to explore and dine in the area. Communication continued throughout our stay, with SPECIFIC locations to a market, local festivals happening while we were there, suggested itineraries. Alessio is a very special person: warm, kind, attentive, helpful, generous. He became a friend, and made our stay sweetly memorable.

THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

Antonio ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der sich immer um das Haus und seine Gäste kümmert. Die 4 Wohnungen waren sehr gut und auch praktisch für unseren Gruppenurlaub. Parkplätze gibt es mehr als genug auf dem Grundstück, da Autos auch Pflicht sind um zum Haus zu gelangen. Des Weiteren ist der Pool sehr gut und auch sehr groß. Genug Platz um viel Spaß zu haben. Antonio kam mehrfach um den Pool auch zu reinigen, was sehr gut war. Gut wären noch weitere Schattenmöglichkeiten wie Schirme oder ein weiterer Pavilion da man die sonst vorher mitnehmen muss.

Adelaide’s place is very peaceful -- you can hear the birds chirping in the garden and there's a comfortable hammock a few steps from the front door and an outdoor shower nearby -- and yet it's only a few minutes from Atigliano. Important for me: Adelaide is a dog lover and was very kind and helpful with my dog, Mocha. The only small drawback is that the indoor shower is tiny. I'm tall with an average build and could hardly fit in it. But the lovely outdoor shower (which provides privacy) made up for it and is a treat on a hot day.

L'alloggio di Sara e Salvatore è un gioiello curato nei minimi dettagli. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo tutte le piccole attenzioni riservate ai loro ospiti. La vista è incredibile e si gode di una tranquillità impagabile. Gli host sono disponibilissimi. Speriamo di riuscire a tornare prestissimo!

This has to be one of the best air bnb’s I have ever stayed in. Only positive things to say, it is such a beautiful air bnb from the views, pool, grounds to the apartment itself. We felt so lucky getting to wake up to the views there every day. The pictures don’t fully represent how wonderful it is. Elena and her family were also so welcoming and friendly. The grounds are beautifully kept and the apartment had everything we needed and every detail was thought of. The location itself was also great, Citta Della Pieve is a lovely town, with less tourists than some of the towns in Tuscany. The Umbrian countryside is gorgeous. It’s a great base to also drive to the Tuscan countryside and towns such as Pienza and Val D’Orcia which took about an hour. I would rate even more than a 10/10, it absolutely made our holiday. Driving is a must!

What a wonderful stay. Perfect house for a family holiday with plenty of space for everyone. The house is beautiful and the beds all king size and comfy. The outdoor space and pool are perfect for relaxing after exploring the local area. Within easy reach of exploring the Tuscan gems of Siena and Montipluciano as well as lesser known villages such as spectacular Montone. Alessandro was so responsive and helpful providing recommendations for wine tours and a local chef. The local restaurant Mimmi is not to be missed - authentic home cooked food that was one of the best meals we ate - and the bar was set high. Thank you Alessandro for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

Il soggiorno da Maria Giulia purtroppo è durato poco casa strepitosa immersa nel verde perfetta per un soggiorno caratterizzato da relax e pace la piscina punto di forza della struttura Maria Giulia e stata una padrona di casa fantastica dandoci la possibilità di poter usufruire anche prima del check in la struttura abbiamo c ha organizzato un aperitivo a bordo piscina con i suoi salumi e vino direttamente dal loro negozio sito nella struttura dove abbiamo anche comprato prima di andare via che dire sarà un piacere tornare in questo splendido posto gestito alla grandissima da Giulia e da suo Papà che abbiamo avuto il piacere di scambiare una chiacchierata e stata un’esperienza assolutamente da rifare . CONSIGLIO a tutti se si vuole passare del tempo lontano da tutto e da tutti .
