Restored 1940s Art Deco Apartment in Santa María La Ribera

This is a 57 square meter apartment with very high brick ceilings, a large living room and dining area with a lot of light. Find authentic chic mid century furniture and several art pieces. The apartment has a private bedroom with queen size bed, closet and bathroom and a separate kitchen with supplies. It also has two small inner patios for light and ventilation. A lot of original architecture details from 1940 like floors, brick walls, ceiling and windows frames were conserved in the restoration. The project was recently featured in Architectural Digest Mexico and won several important architecture prizes: Architecture Masterprize and NoldiSchreck. Guest may use the whole apartment. You can also hang out in the inner patio of the condo and first floor lobby. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer you can use next to the garage. Santa María La Ribera is a historic 19th-century neighborhood. Stroll in the Alameda Park opposite, then visit the nearby Museo de Geología. Here, gaze at mammoth and dinosaurs fossils, plus paintings by the famous Mexican master Jose María Velasco. You'll find a lot of public transportations options including subway, metrobus (direct line to the airport and historic center), train, bus and public bike system (ecobici). Metrobus Linea 4 norte is a direct connection from the airport T1 and T2 to Buenavista and back. Takes about 45 min. 30 Pesos/person, a rechargable Metrocard is need. Safe, quick and direct way to and from the airport.

The building sits in Colonia San Rafael, one of the city's most traditional areas which preserves the architecture and atmosphere of yesteryear. The Historical Center and metro and bus stations are within easy reach. You can walk to the Historical Center (30 min to Bellas Artes). The San Cosme Metro station is 7 minutes away on foot. The Monument to the Revolution and the metro station Plaza de la República are 7 minutes away on foot.

New apartment on three levels with splendid views of a beautiful Mexican-Andalusian garden. Two large beds, two full bathrooms, equipped kitchen, dining room and a comfortable living room. Very quiet, with four leafy trees in the garden muting sounds from the outside world. The neighborhood of Santa María has positioned itself in the taste of young people, there is a wide gastronomic range and it is a colony next to the Historic Center, 10 minutes walk from the San Cosme metro, 4 stations reaches the Zócalo.

Small but comfortable apartment complete. From the moment I give you the keys, you will be alone with your companion. It has basic amenities such as a stove, microwave, refrigerator, cable screen and wifi, heater, for a more comfortable stay. Very well located, a few steps from the monument to the Revolution and Av. insurgentes, very close to Avenida Reforma and the tourist corridor that reaches Bellas Artes and the Zócalo. Excellent option to go to Hospital de la Luz, just a couple of streets away.
