Vacation rentals in Sämstad

Jag och min lilla hund hade en mycket lugn och fridfull vecka i den lilla stugan. Vi gick långa promenader varje dag, bland annat upp på det höga berget Sötorpsberget med dess vackra utsikt, till den lilla båtklubben och badplatsen bredvid. På många ställen kunde man ansluta till Kuststigen, en vandringsled som var väldigt tydligt utmärkt (bra för mig med dåligt lokalsinne). Toppen att det fanns vattenkokare, kokplatta och mikrovågsugn i stugan. Sängarna var väldigt sköna. Ta med fästingmedel om ni ska gå utanför vägarna då det finns gott om dem där. Härifrån finns många fina utflyktsmål som är lätta att ta sig till med bil. Jag stannade i en vecka och min dotter anslöt till helgen. Vi var där precis innan högsäsongen börjar. Rekommenderar den här platsen om man vill hitta lugnet!

We happily recommend this little gem of a guesthouse in Utby. Photos don’t do justice to the spectacular views from the large deck and cozy living room. Modern and clean and a good location for exploring the west coast archipelago. The guesthouse is separate to/ below the host’s home but it’s a private and tranquil place to stay. Welcome treats left for our arrival with helpful notes and local suggestions was a lovely gesture by fabulous hosts. Linen was kindly provided on request. Entry is via steep steps, and bed is located in the mezzanine (fan is provided) plus a nice sofa bed also available if you don’t like low ceiling spaces. Parking for 2 cars was great. The stunning water views were a highlight of our trip, thanks Nicolina and Alexander for a wonderful stay!

Really lovely place on the Swedish west coast. The cabin is placed on top of a hill, in a cabin area, giving you a nice little view of the valley. Quiet area with a few neighbours, but we only saw a few people. Close to the cabin there are plenty of forest paths, making great running and dog walking routes. There is also a beach, as well as a more cliff-like area where we went to swim, super nice !! You don’t have to leave the area if yo are having a chill holiday. The cabin itself is very new and freshly decorated. We were surprised with how well-equipped the kitchen was, which made for lovely cooking. One note, if you are four adults, is that the bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a window you can open, making it a bit stuffy. Would be probably best for two kids. We particularly enjoyed the garden and patio, and BBQ many nights as the sun set over the garden. The place also has a trampoline, which would be a nice surprise is you have kids. Would definitely visit again

Vi, två personer och en hund, tillbringade tre härliga dagar i Helenes stuga. Vi hade lite dålig framförhållning när vi bokade men Helene fixade allt snabbt enligt våra önskemål. Stugan uppfyllde väl våra förväntningar, där fanns allt man behövde och allt var rent och fint. Läget var precis vad vi önskade oss, lugnt och ostört. Perfekt för vår hund som kunde gå lös vid stugan. Helene och Börje är ett trevligt värdpar som gärna tipsar om promenadvägar och sevärdheter i grannskapet. Mycket bra kommunikation med värden som alltid återkom snabbt. Vi har bara gott att säga om vår vistelse i torpet och kan rekommendera det till andra som söker en fin stuga på en lugn och ostörd plats. Och vi återkommer gärna.

We had a great time in the quiet nature, even spotted a moose from the window in the living room! Our children (ages 1 and 3) liked the place a lot as well. There were toys and children/baby chairs, a sandbox and a sleeping cot. The darkening cloth for the windows really helped them sleep a bit longer in these sun-filled days. The eldest loved feeding the chickens and seeing the pigs! The hosts are very friendly and responsive, we definitely recommend the place!

Wir hatten als Familie eine wunderbare Zeit bei Christine! Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Man hat von der Terrasse einen schönen Blick vom Hügel herunter ins Grüne. Christine ist eine sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.

Wir verbrachten zehn Tage in diesem schönen, grosszügigen Sommerhaus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberfamilie war stets erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es fehlte und an nichts. Wir schätzten die Stille sehr. Spannende Wildtierbeobachtungen waren vom Wohnzimmerfenster aus möglich. Das Haus ist perfekt geeignet für naturliebende Familien. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Schöne Wälder, Badeplätze und Fischerspots sind in Gehdistanz erreichbar. Ein besonderer Pluspunkt ist das Klavier im Wohnzimmer. Wir können dieses Angebot sehr empfehlen.
