Vacation rentals with breakfast in Saint Matthews

The house was perfect. 2 couples. Very comfortable. TVs everywhere! Beautiful, clean and cozy. We will come back again. Greg and Nicole were great hosts. Quick and efficient communication. Thank you!!!! Next time we can share a few bottles of wine 🙂

Jonathan is a wonderful host. We were passing through the area and stopped for some sightseeing. The house was clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient to Churchill downs (which you have to understand is in a city-like atmosphere). Ample on street parking. Friendly neighbors.

Stayed here for Derby weekend and what an incredible experience it was! Stacie's home was clean, had plenty of room, and had everything you could ever need for a fun filled weekend in LV. Only 20 mins to the Derby via uber (just schedule them early!!) 5/5 rating, highly recommend! Thank you AGAIN!

My husband and I had a great time here as we went to see our family. Staying at Amy’s place we felt right at home and any issues we had Amy was quick to get back to me and proactive. Loved it here one of my favorite things was sitting on the swing in the front porch and have my morning coffee.

Great spot for Derby weekend. About a mile from Churchill downs makes it walkable without getting stuck in the traffic. Only ten minutes from the airport. Great communication for dining recommendations, and anything else we needed, charming house.

James was a great host. This house was everything and more. The location is great. So much to do in the area and so many food options within walking distance. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the amenities were top notch. We will all 100% come back in the future. Thanks again for allowing us to spend the weekend in this beautiful home.

We felt right at home. The neighborhood is safe. He gave good food recommendations. It felt like I was staying at a friend’s house for the weekend.

Awesome place to stay while visiting in Louisville. Close to the city, walkable to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Safe area! 🙂

Andrew and Lindsay were great hosts. We had some issues with the Wi-Fi, and they worked diligently to address them. Ultimately, they allowed me to move to a new unit to continue working remotely. Both units supplied all of the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. Highly recommend.

Apartment was big and worked well for my needs. Upon arrival there was minimal toilet paper and no trash bags. I reached out to the hosts and they had someone deliver within the hour. Very appreciative of the quick response! No specific check out instructions listed and no response when I messaged to ask however it would not stop me from booking again if I’m ever in the area again!

Great stay…Tamyra was so accommodating and responsive. The room we stayed in and the overall house are all so cozy and peaceful and the back yard is lovely.

We loved our stay with Rich and Bob. They were extremely hospitable and we loved talking to Rich about his interesting life. We’d highly recommend a stay here and we will be back!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Great neighborhood, great location ,great place and very quaint for what we need for our stay.

The mansion itself feels like a large country home with two screened-in porches, a parlor, dining room, and drawing room, all beautifully decorated with antique and comfortable vintage furniture. but with modern conveniences like internet and a Kuerig that is available all day and night. The stairway landing has a huge golden stained glass window--walking downstairs for breakfast in the morning, you will be bathed in light. It's gorgeous! We stayed in the suite on the top floor, which was quiet and private and comfortable. The owners live onsite--this is not a place where you pick up a key and are left on your own--and they provide just the right balance of southern hospitality and personal space. I highly recommend staying here, whether you want to go have fun out in town or just relax and have a quiet weekend reading and taking walks in the neighborhood.

Beautiful place to stay. View is breathtaking! The mansion is gorgeous. The structure on the inside was amazing. Loved the elevator! We stayed in the blue room. It was comfortable and had a quaint little balcony to sit and watch the wildlife or sip on coffee. The hosts were great. Very friendly and the hospitality they showed all of their guests was great. We loved the four little Westie puppies. They were precious. The breakfast that was prepared was delicious and they even prepared a fresh pot of coffee for us. We enjoyed sitting out in the gazebo watching the fish and turtles as we sat out over the water. We would absolutely recommend them and will return some day!

This historic mansion was absolutely gorgeous! It was such a treat for us to stay there for our Anniversary. The recommendations for restaurants were great. We dined at Brooklyn & the Butcher per Ron’s recommendation and it didn’t disappoint in the least. I can say we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hot breakfast served in the morning was delicious and far exceeded what I expected. The room was beautiful and the claw foot tub was a delight and relaxing. I would recommend bringing your own pillows and possible mattress topper though. We didn’t sleep well, but we are used to a sleep number bed. We also had people lodging in adjoining room and you could hear most everything (talking, TV, walking around) going on in each others rooms. It wasn’t very sound proof. Those are only qualms with our stay, but I don’t think it would keep us from coming back. Everything else was stellar. Ron gave us a great tour at check in and a full history of New Albany all the way back to Civil War era.

Staying in a historic bed and breakfast has always been on my bucket list and the Tucker house did not disappoint. Steve and Devona were wonderful hosts, the house was beautifully decorated with period decor and the breakfast was amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope to go back soon!!
