Notre petite maison est la base idéale pour explorer cette région fascinante du sud de La France, le coeur du Pays Cathare.

This spacious apartment is a wonderful place to stay. Perfect for families, part of the Maison de Maitre Barbaira, an 18th century Relais du Post. Step back in time to an era of opulence and style. The apartment offer beds for 4people in 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room and a bathroom with a shower. Wonderful views of the swimming pool and mature gardens of the Villa. A first floor terrace for outdoor dining is perfect for the famous sunsets with a glass of Rose.

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter months there is a wood stove. The firewood is not included in the rental.

Formerly old wine vats, our atypical gîte has been completely renovated. Saint-Hilaire is located between Carcassonne (16 km) with its unmissable medieval city and Limoux (13 km). We benefit from all amenities: bakery, pharmacy, tobacco/grocery store… as well as a great cultural wealth!
