We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

Wow, absolutely stunning views! Mark’s place was very spacious and lots of natural light. We only stayed a night, but wished we could have stayed for the whole weekend! It’s a small stroll to the sea and a little shop that sells some delicious toasties.

Beautiful home, beautiful surroundings, easily locatable, close to shops, had everything we needed. Very Grateful!

The house is everything you would wish for in a holiday -let. Tranquil surroundings, great view across the water from the living room, comprehensively equipped kitchen , and all the accessories you would expect in a comfortable home. You do run into what seems to be Auckland’s little publicised gridlock on the motorways ( at least where I come from) if you want to drive into the city centre or back , during the morning or evening rush hours respectively, but you should be able to work around that on a holiday. I would recommend the property without reservation.

Beautiful rustic warm home with two seperate spaces. Very homely with a beautiful view of the beach. 20 meter walk to the beach we loved our weekend there. Kirsty was very responsive and helpful.

This place felt like home and great for our family who had to travel to Auckland at short notice. We didn’t need to bring anything extra, as everything we needed was provided. The house is easy to find, good off street parking, and no surprises.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully designed and cozy home! The two-storey layout was perfect for our group — with bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs, everyone had their own space without disturbing each other. It’s a very comfortable and well-thought-out place for friends traveling together. The host was incredibly approachable and responsive, with clear and timely communication throughout. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at Kathy’s place. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and really enjoyed the view from the dining area. Kathy was very helpful and kind. Weather had us changing plans but hope to come back in the future!

This property has everything you need in a lovely compact size in the city. main plus points for us, toiletries and tea/coffee making included. large smart TV so we could watch netflix in the evenings. very comfy beds and pillows! having two bathrooms was a huge plus for us as we were travelling with my dad who has dementia. this meant we weren't woken up by him and he felt happy and comfortable. the service from the hosts was friendly and very helpful and the location was great!

We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice and it is set in peaceful leafy surrounds. It was spotless, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Raes home was stunning and so peaceful - perfect spot to relax and unwind between wedding festivities. It had everything we needed, even local produce to enjoy. Rae was really friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Jo’s place. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Jo was an amazing host—super accommodating and always quick to communicate. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Auckland. Highly recommend!

Great place, and although the interior design had obviously been very artistically thought out and put together, we felt that it fell a little short on practicality. Worktops both in the kitchen and bathroom were stone tiles which, given time, would most likely give the hosts problems with cleaning. Bathroom door kept creeping open - needs a little hook or something similar. Bed was very comfy, and although the chairs were reasonably comfortable, would have preferred a sofa or couch - but it is clear in the listing that there wasn't one. Shower was great! We also went in the 'shoulder season' so unfortunately, the pool, whilst beautiful and immaculately clean, was far too cold for our old bones! But don't let me put you off - the hosts are very lovely people and their little dog is a darling! Nice place to stay, all in all.

Sarah’s home sits in a stunning location. When you walk in the view of the ocean and the bay by Palm Beach and the sailboats against the shimmering water and huge sky is just unforgettable. The house is big and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The salt water pool is the perfect temperature and the hot tub is hot and warms you up after swimming. The walking track is right in front of the house. It’s on a steep drive but it’s centrally located on Waiheke and easy enough to get everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay. We were surprised how peaceful the property was, considering we were in Auckland, coming from a rural home it was nice and relaxing, just sitting around enjoying what the property had to offer. Grant was exceptionally proactive and professional with his communication and we felt comfortable if we had any questions, queries or concerns we could rea h out without any bother. Overall great place to meet up with family and lived ones for a get away.

The home was absolutely perfect. The setting was beautiful and the house itself was clean and well kept (not to mention, the beautiful interior decor). The hosts were amazing in their communication, accomodating and exercised flexibility to specific requests of mine, which I hugely appreciated. I had all the information I needed upon checking in and felt very comfortable reaching out with any questions I had on my stay. I had a rather large group stay at the place so the cottage next to the main home was a winner, allowing for space and privacy amongst a big group. The spa pool and plunge pool was a treat with a stunning view and lots of grass area outside for the kids and pets to run around and play. I would highlight recommend this home to anyone looking for somewhere clean, beautiful location with ocean views and friendly and accomodating hosts. Thanks again Wayne and Lesley for opening up your beautiful home to us. Would love to stay again at some point.

My family stayed here for a few weeks and really loved it! It's clean, spacious, has everything you need, and feels like home. It's very easy to settle into and is close to the shops and supermarket. We highly recommend booking this home, it's an excellent choice for long stays as well.

Had the best stay and it was the nicest apartment and the most amazing view! Thank you so much for making this one of the best trips we have ever had! We will be back again! Absolutely stunning!

The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and we were early - can’t put into words how peaceful it was to sit on verandah listening to the birds and surrounded by lush tree canopies. Everything we could need was in the kitchen and we catered for 4 adults using gas BBQ for steaks from local shops. The hill is steep but usual for NZ and easily walked (slowly) we are 61 and 64. Thank you Barbara for the lovely welcoming treats including towels for the dog 🐕 and the home grown bananas! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return 💛

The accommodations are prepared with careful consideration for guests. It is located in a location with a lot to enjoy on foot.

We are a 61 &64 yo and managed the staircase by following strict instructions to descend backwards We stayed 7 nights and it was a great location for travelling on bus and train into city Also drove to other locations via easy MWay access. Stand out points - This is a beautiful relaxing place to unwind after busy days sight-seeing East to pick up takeaway meals locally or there are facilities to heat up ready-meals (we bought from Farro) The evening and early mornings were filled with birdsong and swing ideal to relax. The shower was excellent and complimentary toiletries great quality Thank you we loved your cottage and would rebook ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beutiful and spotless cottage in a serene surrounding. we loved our stay!! This place has everything you need for a restful stay and is super close to Falls. we alos loved saying Hi to the lambs, cows and chicken. definitely recommande it to others☺️

Henry’s place was spectacular, we have just spent a week there and didn’t want to leave. It was beautifully presented with interesting art & furnishings. The beds were really comfortable & the linen luxurious. The kitchen & bathroom were modern and very well equipped & the outdoor area, which flows seamlessly from the living area, is special & very private. Henry was a great host, very helpful & responsive to any queries we had. I cannot recommend Henry & his lovely home highly enough, it’s 6 ⭐️ from me.
