Vacation rentals with beach access in Saint Helens

Stunning! We had a fab few days here and it’s even better than the photos. Walking in and seeing the view takes your breath away. As well as the stunning view the location is great, v central for town, beach, bus, walks, amazing swims and great eateries. When we were there the road next to accom is blocked by rockfall. It meant the road was lovely and quiet(!) but does make it a longer /hilly walk into town. Wasn’t a problem at all but worth knowing in advance. David was a great communicator, flexible and everything you need to know is in the handy welcome guide. Would love to stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Great stay in a comfortable stylish apartment. The location was perfect as were travelling without a car and could easily walk everywhere. Lots of great pubs and restaurants nearby

Daniel’s apartment was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights to explore the maritime history of Portsmouth. The views from the apartment were outstanding. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. The cohost was very helpful both at check-in and during our stay. The secure parking was a bonus if you are travelling by car. There is a small supermarket below the building for essentials. Outlet shopping across the road with all the major brands and also plenty of choices to dine overlooking the water. The train station across the road is busy and noisy until around 11pm but then it quietens. A great place to base yourself to explore Portsmouth.

An absolute Gem if you want on the seafront right on the beach and pier this is your place. You can sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by on the beach. It’s perfect family apartment. The apartment was immaculate

We liked here very much! Place was clean, Creydi helped us with clear instructions, many recommendations and quick responses. The location is right on point, very close to the beach but also in the heart of the city-party! We also enjoyed a smooth, flexible check-in. Highly recommend, especially that they opened another room nearby, in the same pretty style!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

Chris, is a great host. Very helpful and always responds to messages. A welcome bottle of wine was left in the fridge, along with coffee, tea and biscuits. Ventnor is a beautiful place, with many restaurants. The walks are beautiful. It is also a great base to get around the island, Shanklin is a 15 minute drive The sound of the sea is so relaxing to hear. The flat was clean, like a home from home with all the amenities that you could think of. We hope to return.

Well equipped top floor appartment, quite a few stairs to negotiate but worth the effort for views over the Solent. Bit of traffic noise but, on flipside, handy for town with just a short walk downhill to the promenade/beach. We found parking restrictions/options manageable. A nice touch to provide a pint of milk and cookies, thanks.

We have just had a wonderful long weekend at Mulberry View and our hearts are full! This is a beautiful property right on the beach. We spent a lot of time outside and to be able to swim in the sea each morning was just wonderful. The house is pristine, we ate in as we were a largish group and the kitchen is extremely well equipped and a great social space. Comfy beds, and a luxe feel to everything. Philip is a great host, very responsive. The teenage girls in the party popped round to the local arcade on a couple of evenings which they found great fun. A great stay.

The location was fantastic. Seaview is a lovely, pretty and very quiet area. The walk to Ryde was delightful. The property was spacious and the interior decor was tasteful. We were blessed with amazing weather and the sea and beach was clean and a delight to swim in. 15th to 20th June was surprisingly quiet which suited us perfectly. The IOW festival started on 19th and we were told that there were few non festival visitors due to the higher accommodation costs and ferry crossing costs. Not sure if this is correct but we would choose this time of year again for the quietness of beaches and towns

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The peaceful setting, steps from a beautiful beach, where horses are exercised along the shore in the morning and you can hear the gentle shush of the waves at night, is perfect. The house is finished to a high standard, fully equipped and 3 rooms have en suites, which is seldom a given. Fresh flowers awaited our arrival, and heralded the start of a super relaxing five days - walking the coastal path, chatting to the locals, eating in the local pub and hotel. Still feeling very laid back after our trip - also seldom a given. Thanks, Sophie - can't wait to return.

A lovely few nights at The Salt Shack. Great location for beach fun. Karen’s communications were spot on and very quick. The facilities are great , clean, modern and stylish. The cupboards are well equipped with all you’ll need. Local shops and cafes are close and plentiful. We especially enjoyed Billy’s on the beach for its menu , service and Sufy vibe. Our granddaughter loved the sand play area and the outside surfboard shower with hit water ! Kurfürstendamm venture to this area and will be back for more I’m sure.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was quiet and convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive throughout. Just a couple of small suggestions: adding a curtain or blind to the front door would help with privacy, and the internet connection was a bit slow for streaming YouTube on the TV. Other than that, everything was great—we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay again. Thank you!

We have been going to Seaview for the last 30 years. This rental was definitely in our top 5 over the years.

I had such a lovely stay at this charming home by the Southsea coast! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the seafront, with easy access to the pier, local cafes, and beautiful coastal walks. The house itself was cosy, clean, and beautifully styled, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the little garden out back was perfect for a morning coffee or evening wine. Communication with Steph was excellent from start to finish—they were friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze.

What can I say? apart from 'WOW' ! We booked Xander's Tall House for the IOW festival w/e for our daughter and son to join us with their partners and we were looking for a family orientated space with ample facilities. This house delivered in every aspect - and more! Xander is an exemplary host from the point of booking and throughout our stay being very responsive and super helpful. From opening the front door we knew that we were in for a treat! Beautifully furnished with a homely feel, a fabulous rustic kitchen which opens out onto the cutest courtyard garden for dining and which we made good use of. Loads of space with 2 sitting rooms on different floors together with 2.5 bathrooms and 4 large bedrooms there was plenty of room to spread out as well as be together! The absolute icing on the cake however has to be the location. A 2 minute walk from Bembridge's array of little shops and also the beach! Wow! This house is a gem and we had a wonderful stay. Finn has chosen stylish furniture and decor for this very well equipped holiday home. The photos show all the rooms accurately but the balcony actually has far more comfortable furniture than the photos show., making it a super place to sit and view the coastline. Due to the bay windows , this flat has more far reaching views than other seafront properties we have stayed in. Also, Finn is an attentive host, on hand to solve any issues that may arise. We thoroughly recommend.

We are just back for a two-night stay. This is a little gem of an air b&b! We all enjoyed the property, it was like a home from home. Lively clean and fresh, it had everything we needed plus more. We would stay again for sure. Thank you Lucy

Stayed for 2 nights, <5min walk to waterfront and bus into Portsmouth. Walk back from Portsmouth along waterfront quite pleasant 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. Very comfortable

About as close to the sea as possible without being in the water! Beautiful interior, very costal blues and white pastel. Dead practical to live, ie kitchen, TV, bathroom etc. a couple of very lively pubs a few yards away, not noisy, just busy and worth a drink. Three flights of stairs are a consideration but of course the benefit is a grand, elevated view of the bay. Honestly, the description by the reviewers and the owners is about as accurate as you can get. A cracking break, Thankyou x
