We had a pleasant stay at Mees'. The place is quiet, perfect for unwinding. Mees was great, full of good advice and very good cook: breakfast and dishes are worth it!

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

We had a great week in Cabrerets. Sunny and warm weather. The house stays incredibly cool and the terrace is pleasant. The house is very well-equipped and very quiet. But the big highlight is its location. Cabrerets is a very beautiful village, with great restaurants and shops, superb walking trails and the cherry on top, the Célé! On the activity side, we did canoeing thanks to kalapca 3 km from the cottage which offers plenty of other activities, we visited the cave of pech Merle, the sublime village of Saint Cirq Lapopie etc... in short a great week. A haven of peace and greenery, spacious , comfortable and very well equipped. Great views of the countryside, and close to many pretty villages and hiking trails. Sandrine was very welcoming and caring with it, especially with our dog. We recommend it unreservedly.

We spent a two-day stopover, too short, on the way back from vacation, at the cottage, and what can I say except magnificent! The region, as well as the cottage where everything is perfect, where nothing is missing. Not to mention our hosts, Solange and Michel, who were very attentive, with homemade cakes on arrival, very kind and easy to talk to. Very good tips for visiting the area. We had a lovely stay at Pré des Noix. Upon our arrival, Alexandrine gave us all the instructions and made herself perfectly available during the stay. The small well-equipped house is lovely and peaceful, it is a real place of rest 2 steps from the Vézère Valley and its must-see tourist spots. Everything was perfect and we'll be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

Excellent stay in this very atypical little place. Nothing was missing for our stay and the place is really super cocooning. I recommend it for a weekend getaway in one of the most original places.

Staying with Karen and Dorotha was a wonderful week. We felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy the nature, as well as beautiful towns and villages around the accommodation. We especially liked the quiet location and the relaxation opportunities. We appreciate the warm hospitality and pleasant communication.

House with lots of character, very well-equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Great place for a great relaxing time. Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Stunning! Yes the house is amazing and the space is well furnished and the material noble (wood and stone)… but for us it was the stunning views of the entire valleys and the bright stars in the jacuzzi at night which made this place unforgettable.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. My partner, our dog, and I spent a wonderful four weeks at the charming cottage in Anglars, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Florian had already lit the fireplace, which made for such a warm and welcoming arrival—and it was just the first of many thoughtful touches that made the place special. We were lucky to stay during May, when the cherry trees slowly turned red and ripe. The house itself has everything you need, and when we realized we were missing something—a moka pot for our morning coffee for example —Florian immediately made sure we had one. His kindness and attentiveness really stood out, as did his great tips for local things to do. One thing I truly appreciated was the care put into sustainability: organic cleaning products, locally sourced items throughout the house—these are details you rarely see, and they reflect a host who genuinely cares. We’re already looking forward to our next workation here.

Lovely hosts and beautiful, unique old house in tranquil, green, riverside location. We stayed with our dog for 4 weeks in May, we found plenty locally to visit/do/eat. Recommend the cheap bus rides from Larnagol: to Cahors and Figeac along the Lot. Veronique and Thierry were responsive when we needed help but gave us total privacy, very occasionally dropping in by arrangement to maintain the pretty garden. They speak better English than they think, too! Recommended 😁😁🐶
