The place was really great. If you like it quiet, it is definitely perfect there, even with children, it is really nice there. If you come by car you have many possibilities but even coming by bus is possible to go there just for hiking or walking it is really great there. I'd love to come back with husband and kids.

Thomas is a nice accommodating host. The apartment is very clean and corresponds to the description. I can recommend it without reservation.

We spent a wonderful hiking week in the Spessart, the reason why we ended up in the Spessart and not in the Rhön or in the Odenwald was: Exactly this apartment!!! There is hardly anything to add to the many previous positive reviews, it was precisely these that convinced us when booking that we had made the right choice with this apartment. We were able to start our hikes right outside the front door, and we reached the starting points of the well-known hiking destinations in the Spessart, such as Lohr, Mespelbrunn or Kreuzwertheim, from Sommerkahl in 30 - 45 minutes. If we travel to the Spessart again, we will be happy to come back to Thomas and Ulrich.
