Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

The internet speed is about 250 Mbit/s download. We offer a basic selection of teas, coffee and spices. We can provide a TV, but please mention it in your message to us. The mountain hut invites you to relax with its flair, the numerous seats in the fresh air and a cozy wood-burning stove. There are shops right in the village and they can be reached on foot. In summer, the cabin can be reached by car, in winter it is a short walk.

The gondola "Zwölferkogel" is only 5 min walking distance where you can enter the whole ski and mountain area of saalbach- Hinterglemm. It includes two separate bedrooms including a 1,40 m and a 1,60 m wide bed. There's an additional sleeping couch in the living room. Visitors tax 2,45€ per guest per day. Our guest apartment is on the second floor of an old town house in the heart of Hallein and offers a nice view of the pedestrian zone. Shops, bakeries, cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants with beautiful gardens are practically at your doorstep. The medieval salt and Celtic city of Hallein is considered the “little sister” of the cultural city of Salzburg, which can be reached by S-Bahn in approx. 20 minutes.
