What else can I say about this place other than stunning! The house is amazing, great features, space and the hot tub and spa are just the icing on the cake. The surrounding areas are beautiful too. Highly recommend eating at the Higher Buck in waddington also. John was very good at communicating from the start of the reservation and very helpful.

The venue was amazing, unreal views and an amazing house. The sonos sound system was an amazing touch! 100% would recommend.

It is a beautiful house from start to finish. The initial drive up is breathtaking. It is extremely clean and gave us everything we needed and more. It had beautiful views and the hot tubs and sauna made it feel like our own spa! Every room in the houses were spotless and had everything we needed. Wouldn’t think twice about booking here again!

This house is fantastic, we were a group of 17 friends and had such a wonderful weekend. There’s loads of space for everyone to spread out, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, great reception rooms for everyone to be together, fantastic amenities, gorgeous stunning location and of course the hot tubs! As others have said, the pictures don’t do it justice. Just a lovely place to relax for a weekend. We’ll be back!

Absolutely stunning place to stay with the stream bubbling behind the cottage and friendly ducks wandering around the garden 🦆. Inside was toasty warm and had everything we needed (including good tea bags). Loved it!

Great place to stay for exploring local area. Close to Pendle hill and Forest of Bowland for great walking. Cottage was comfortable and peaceful. Hosts very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

Andrew's cottage is just lovely and we had a great time there (despite the weather). We and our dog were made very welcome. The area is beautiful and gave us a chance to escape the city. We highly recommend this place and would always visit again.

Please do not be put off by the size of this property, it has everything you need and more. We stayed with two large Golden Retrievers and found there to be ample room for us all.

Cosy little cottage. We needed accommodation for a wedding at nearby Eaves Hall, this place was perfect for us. Andrew and Susan were friendly and greeted us at check in. Its in a very old building but inside it was modern and heating was good enough even in December. They also have facilities for self catering which made it felt more homely.

Deborah and Andrew are great hosts who have created a warm, comfortable and clean, private space for guests in their home. I couldn’t fault any part of this stay and in addition, Deborah had laid out some bread and cereals for us to help ourself to as well as tea and coffee whenever we wanted. They also can give you plenty of useful tips for local places to visit. Don’t forget to make time to Pat their beautiful 11 year old dog ‘ faith’ who may just wander by quietly to say hello. She’s adorable. Their lovely home is within 5 minutes walk of the town centre which has some nice shops, eateries and the Everyman Cinema. Thank you so much for our stay xx

A really warm and comfortable stay with a beautiful house and excellent amenities. The walk in shower with no step was extremely useful and iv always thought Mira Power Showere the best. My only problem was my stay was too short. Thanks very much.

Fantastic spot if you want to be within walking distance to everything clitheroe has to offer! Wonderful cottage with everything you need and then some. Sue left milk, bread, butter, jam and a variety of teas and coffees for us on arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would also return in the future 😊

You can't go wrong staying at this well equipped, clean and cosy cottage. It's very well situated, close to all of the amenities in Clitheroe. Nothing is too much trouble for Sue and with all of the kind touches made ie welcome pack you will feel most welcome. Thank you Sue x

Sue was always ready to help with everything and she always gives a good care with guest. The cottage was very clean and the location was fabulous. It took 40 seconds to main street and around 5mins to Clitheroe station. Just around the conner, thee is a bus stop goes to Preston and etc. Tesco is just 2mins away and the cottage has sufficient amenities. I can recommend this cottage to everyone and I would definitely wanna stay at her place again.

A lovely little space for two within a characterful little town. The cottage had everything we needed for a lovely weekend meeting with friends. Everything was clean, tidy and uncluttered. There was bread, butter, conserves, coffee and a selection of tea including a fruit one. Shops, supermarkets, and a selection of smaller local merchants a few mins walk supplied a choice of anything we wanted. Likewise, churches, theatre, restaurants and coffee shops were all just a few steps from the front door. Although the cottage doesn’t have private parking, there is some street parking and /or p&d parking nearby. Perfect!

The cottage is very well kept and sparkling clean. Sue wad great at keeping in touch and made an extra special effort leaving out toys for our 5 month old daughter. As well as bread rolls, milk, butter and jam. Would highly recommend.

Sue is a lovely host, went out of her way to facilitate us, had flexible check in and check out times which was super sweet.

This flat is a perfect base and really easy to find in Waddington. Clare is a great host - check in was simple and just as described and Clare responds straight if you have any questions! All of Waddington’s pubs are a short walk away from the flat too - perfect location for food and drink. The flat was just as I had hoped and exactly like the pictures. It had all the basic amenities that you need for a short stay- easy! Thank you Clare - would definitely stay again!

Stayed at Clare's for 3 weeks whilst working in the area. The place is clean, quiet and was perfect for my needs. Overall a very nice stay. Pls note that there is no wi-fi or microwave however.

Really impressed with this flat for a weekend stay in Ribble Valley. Easy to find, clear instructions for getting into the building and once inside the flat, it had everything I needed for a short break. There was even fresh milk in the fridge ready for a brew. It was lovely and clean, private parking off road and very quiet!! A lovely, warm building too -no fear of being cold at night,even in winter.

We arrived at the Lower Buck Inn on a sunny afternoon and the pub already had a great atmosphere, we were checked into our little lodge quickly. The lodge itself is wonderfully designed and very comfortable, all amenities have been provided for including a fan and a heater! My wife was very impressed with the shower in particular, we had spent two weeks staying at over 8 different hotels and BnBs and this was by far the best bathroom! Oliver was very kind and spoke to the chef and managed to rustle up two vegan mushroom risottos which were delicious! I would recommend this pub to anyone who is in the area! and if your lucky enough to stay there you'll have a great night!

Oliver is a fantastic host. The lodge is beautiful with private parking. The adjoining pub is fantastic, cosy and welcoming. For gin lovers like myself there is a wide selection. Breakfast is a short walk across the village and is delicious.

Firstly greeted by Trish and a warm welcome at the front door of this Amazing place the whole first floor was ours for the weekend. She helped us with our things & showed us to our cosy boutique bedroom which had the most comfortable bed , a stylish bathroom a lovely free standing bath and walk in shower . She advised us on local eateries in walking distance . Breakfast next morning was amazing Trish could not do enough for us . A perfect hostess. This is a beautiful place to stay, it's in a lovely quiet village and was perfect for a place to stay while we attended a wedding. Patricia is a super start host, welcoming, helpful and freindly. Patricia is such a fabulous host and her hospitality and warmth to her guests is impeccable! She greeted us with a warm welcome and recommended places where we could eat and walk. Patricia added special touches to the bedroom, including: teas, coffees, shortbread and rocky road! In the morning, Patricia made us such a superb breakfast, both cold and hot foods, with an offering of fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurt, fresh coffee and a full English Breakfast (and that’s just for starters!). I highly recommend staying at Patricia’s lovely cottage. Such a fabulous home in a fabulous village, with an even fabulous host!

Truly superb accommodation! You get the entire floor of Patricia's house. A large bedroom and a large bathroom. Both very nicely finished. A fantastic breakfast. Patricia can't do enough to help. This home (Katie and Carol have taken time to make it more than just a house) is ideally situated for many of the local wedding venues in the area but I would strongly recommend it for anyone wanting a weekend getaway to explore North Lancashire . It is extremely clean and has all the amenities you could need . Katie and Carol communicated with me at every turn and even left us a beautiful selection of breakfast items which touched me . I don't know how you become a super host, but these two have my vote.

We highly recommend eating at Aspinall arms pub just a short drive up the road (30 minutes walk). Take a trip to the Clitheroe the next town along, where there are some nice independent shops and cafes. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

A hidden gem in Clitheroe. We booked 'Tilly' as cheap accomodation to add to our Clitheroe visit. We would 100% here everytime we visit Cllithroe and even make excuses to visit. What a fabulous place. Karen the host was so attentive, quick responses, kind, and friendly. The caravan was super cool with so many cute added touches including flapjack, tea and coffee, great mugs, wine and chocolates on arrival and beautifully decorated. Warm and cosy, we didn't want to leave. The breakfast was out of this world, with home made jam, orange cartons and so fresh. Brought to you in bed. Lovely place and a lovely host. Told me to ring to get directions and Karen stayed on the phone with me until I got there. Karen was very welcoming, gave me a quick tour of the caravan and facilities. Gave me some good local tips, also helped me with the taxis. Cosy caravan and washroom, very comfy bed!

This caravan is set in a gorgeous location with views of the pendle hills, only 5mins away from town by car. The caravan has been decorated beautifully and the washroom and toilet facilities were spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. There is also a comfortable double bed and seating area. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, we couldn't recommend this place enough 😊 Karen was very friendly and a pleasant host

Fantastic hosts

Great place to stay close to the centre of Clitheroe. We were attending a wedding at Holmes Mill and the location was perfect, so close we could walk and the hosts kindly let us check in early and leave the car before we went. The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was good.

Great place in busy and interesting village with excellent walking from the door. Flat has everything you need on hand and in five minutes you're walking in the countryside.

Charlie‘s place is a quite sweet little studio apartment, which is a nice space to live in for some time. It had good kitchen essentials, so cooking was very easy as well as a well functioning heating system, which gave it quite a homely feel, especially good concerning that I lived there on my own for two weeks. It is very practical, as it is quite central, close to two small groceries, to bars and ‘Rios’, the only nightclub in the are, which has its own kind of charm. However with that in mind, if noisy places bother you a lot, there will be a bit of a buzz on the weekend and sometimes at night, with drunk lads walking by. I just put my headphones on and let everything go past. Also Charlie was concerned if everything was alright, very quick to answer to any questions and all in all it was a simple and uncomplicated stay. I would definitely think about staying there again, for when I come back the next time to Whalley!

A perfect stay over for a great nights sleep. The house was lovely, clean and fresh. The beds were very comfortable and rooms nice and spacious. We were very impressed with the size of the house, as it is a terraced, we were expecting the rooms to be much smaller. The bathroom was also spacious with a lovely big bath, which is always a bonus for me. The house was very close to the town cenrtre, which meant we could walk into town within minutes. Having egg soldiers and coffee for breakfast was a lovely touch.

Alden cottage is a cozy, quiet and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. It has everything you could want for a restful few days in the countryside, including a warming fire and absolutely lovely hosts who go out of their way to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. Bowland itself is beautiful - the cottage is perfectly located for picturesque walks and fantastic pubs and restaurants. We would happily return!

Future visitors to Alden Cottage. Nothing can prepare you for the wonderful aspect and vivid panorama to be found at Alden Cottage. It is picturesque and invites you to pull on your walking boots and get exploring. For the romantics, a woodburner gets you back to basics, lighting the fire (easy peasy) and enjoying the flickering flames as you lounge on a comfy chesterfield and sip a favourite tipple. Your hosts are delightful, welcoming and available in an instant to give helpful tips on places of interest and local must sees. I am planning to revisit, I think you will do the same.

The cottage in Chatburn is delightful. It is stylish and extremely well presented. Highly recommended. A great place for a weekend. Clitheroe is near for shopping and sightseeing. The Trough of Bowland is on the doorstep, and the village itself has lots of amenities.

We were house-hunting in the area and this cottage proved just the job. There were one or two minor issues but James responded immediately. It was a pleasure to come back to the cottage each evening, and I would heartily recommend it for anyone visiting the vicinity.

This is an outstanding cottage, very stylishly furnished, spotlessly clean and in a lovely quiet setting. More like a boutique hotel than an Airbnb! The local pub, the Brown Cow, is highly recommended. Great service, great beer and food and dog friendly and only 5 minutes walk away. Lovely area to explore too. Cannot recommend highly enough - friendly village and great hosts. Will be back!

Brilliantly situated apartment. Sparkling clean and very comfortable with lots of facilities. Very helpful guest book to look through. There is lots to do in the local area and close by. Apartment is located in Shireburne house in the caravan park which is a very grand building.

Very cosy cute place. High spec lovely decor - just so you know no bathroom or bedroom door as it was open plan upstairs and down. Beautiful location at the end of a lane so very quiet and peaceful. The garden was beautiful and all enclosed so our dog Mabel also loved the spot. Great country pubs ten min drive away. Would very much recommend.

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding at Mitton Hall. We arrived after the reception had closed, but they were really helpful and emailed us great instructions as to what to do when we got there. The place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was clean and modern and the beds were incredibly comfy!! The flat was spacious and cosy, perfect size for four adults all trying to get ready for a wedding!!! We had a lovely walk around the park, which was incredibly quite and quaint, and it's not a far walk from the local pub! This is a lovely apartment in a beautiful setting, the team working in the office are exceptional and great at accommodating your needs and answering your enquiries quickly. The stairs really aren't that bad!

This really is a lovely spacious place, with plenty of space for a family, set in beautiful surroundings. Taking in breakfast whilst overlooking the hills of the countryside, relaxing in the huge bathtub after a long day, and close to the stunning village of Waddington makes this a perfect place to stop. A beautifully refurbished apartment, quiet and peaceful. It is located close to the village of Waddington (2.5km) and the town of Clitheroe (2km). Both have excellent restaurants, especially Waddington. The opportunities for walking and cycling are vast. An excellent base for a break.

Lovely, lovely stay here. Beautiful little place, close to Waddington village with lovely pubs. Great little touches - bread, cereal and milk on arrival and helping us get in to the village to meet friends. Great communication, very clean, beautiful views!

I was really impressed with the setup and that Stephen was able to put me up at short notice on new years eve. Check in and checkout were effortless and a really smooth process. The place was spotless. Great shower, if a little confusing with a hangover on new years day! Highly recommended.

We have just used Airbnb for the first time and had a wonderful time. Stephen and Heather are a lovely couple and fantastic hosts. Their home is beautiful and we thank them very much for letting us use it. The french dresser in the hallway along with fridge, kettle and toaster contains everything you need for breakfast and much appreciated after being out the previous evening!! We will definitely be going back and taking friends with us next time and can not recommend them enough. Thank you both very much. Emma and Chris xx

Gill's place is a sweet escape to cosy cortege nestled in the countryside. The living room is comfortable, warm and cosy, and the kitchen has a decór that Cath Kidston would be proud of. The location is literally 10 steps to a Spar and Post office, and minutes to Clitheroe and other beautiful places. To top it all off, the shower is hot and strong after a day out walking!!

Had a fantastic weekend at Gill’s! Arrived on Friday to a warm and cosy cottage in a quiet village - really easy to find! Was blown away by the attention to detail, the place has such character with a lovely modern twist. The whole house was spotless and we were happy to find some essentials for breakfast waiting in the kitchen for us! Beds were super comfy, excellent shower (could do with a lock on the bathroom door though!/couldn’t figure it out if it did), and basically we all had a fantastic weekend - only a 5-10 minute drive from the wedding venue that we were at on the Saturday night. Definitely recommend the pork pies and bacon from the butchers (less than a minute walk away)! Thank you so much Gill for your hospitality - highly recommend!

This cottage is stunning and full of character. We had such a lovely relaxing break here with friends and our young families. Gill was so welcoming and helpful and gave us some great advice so we could enjoy our stay and the surrounding area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gills place! Gill was the best host and welcomed us at the property. She even gave little christmas gifts to our children! Such a beautiful host and gorgeous property :D the space was perfect for us. The shop and pubs practically next door we’re a huge bonus too!

This is a lovely characterful house with beautiful furniture and a homely feel. We've stayed three times and I'm sure we'll be back.

This is a brilliant place to stay - extremely stylish and comfortable. The pictures really don't do it justice. Also, well situated for local sight-seeing with good eating places and a shop just next door.

Me and my fiancee had a great stay here, the view was spectacular from the living room and the whole place is designed beautifully. Great value for money. Communication with irene was great also. Highly recommend staying here
