  • Absolutely fantastic Christmas spent here. Beautiful house (which I want to live in by the way😁), warm, spotlessly clean and so, so comfortable. Everything we needed, was in the house. It was lovely to able to cook on an aga again. Very doggie friendly house. Took a short drive to some amazing walks (and views). Taunton is only a few miles away and is a lovely town. Thanks ever so much.

  • We were a large group of friends in the Taunton area for a ball at the nearby military base. This was an excellent place to stay - spacious and designed for large groups (5 bathrooms was a particularly useful feature). It’s about a 20 minute taxi ride from Taunton train station but once there we had no complaints!

  • Highly recommended for a beautiful weekend in the countryside. The house was so well thought out with everything we could have needed (for baking, cocktail making, large group dining). You will not be disappointed!

The log burner was great and the bed comfy. The location and surrounding area is beautiful. Perfect for a couple of nights getaway. We fully enjoyed our time here and plan to return :)

Whoever has designed the furniture selection has excellent taste. Also the on site pigs that we could feed really made my trip!

  • Rebecca was very friendly and quick to respond. Everything was easy. She went the extra mile by unlocking, turning heating and lighting on for my arrival on a very wet March evening. Really clean, lovely place, full of character. Parking right outside. Very comfy bed with warm feather duvet. Would definitely go back.

  • We had a wonderful stay in the gorgeous out house. It I’m really is the loveliest little space but you have more than what you might need. We visited Hestercombe gardens which is literally next doors so we didn’t have to drive. It was stunning, definitely recommend a visit. We also went to the Farms Arms for dinner which was such a lovely pub and the food and hospitality was great. I would recommend the out house for getaway in a heartbeat. It really is lovely.

  • Louise and David are the most fabulous hosts - someone was always there if we needed them and they couldn’t do enough. We stayed for 4 nights (2 adults, 2 children) when it was very rainy so one of the roads to the cottage was a bit water logged - David drove to meet us and we followed him another way to the cottage. We arrived to find a delicious homemade cake and some breakfast goodies, and were brought eggs and a homemade loaf of bread the following morning which were lovely, thoughtful touches. My 6 year old son particularly loved pressing fresh oranges in the orange juicer, and we loved the coffee maker, and now feel we need to buy one now we are home. The cottage is set in a beautiful, quiet valley, with a lovely garden and has everything you could need. The beds were so comfortable; however, slightly short though in length for my 5’10” husband. The internet unfortunately didn't work during our stay and the shower broke on the last day, David and Louise responded straight away to rectify the situation by calling an internet engineer and an emergency plumber and gave us compensation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the countryside, even with the wet weather, we would definitely return because the cottage was so cosy and relaxing, and the hosts are the best you could get!

    Sabrina2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Louise is a lovely thoughtful host who is very welcoming. Prosecco, cake, flowers and more were much appreciated. The cottage has all the necessary amenities, is very clean and the beds sleep very well. The outside garden space is excellent and in good weather would be a real bonus. There are also some nice local walking trails.

    Michael2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage, well equipped. Peaceful and quiet. If you like wildlife it’s a great place to just sit, watch and listen. Hosts couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely stop here again.

    Teresa2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time visiting Louise & David’s place which is tucked away in the beautiful Exmoor countryside. The cottage was perfect with lots of thoughtful touches and a delicious cake waiting for us when we arrived. The garden is beautiful and was just right for our daughter to enjoy running around in. We enjoyed a day trip to Dunster Castle exploring Exmoor and North Devon. We very much hope to return!

    Charlotte2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing hosts and stunning location to explore the moors.

    Richard2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Somerset walking was even more beautiful than we'd anticipated and this is a lovely place to stay: comfortable and gloriously tranquil.

    Carolyn2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Louise and David were perfect hosts. They met us when we arrived, gave us a tour and are a caring and considerate couple. The drive up to the cottage was exceptional, through a stunning tree tunnel over a single track road, you really couldn’t get more magical! The cottage was just what we needed, charming, idyllic and in a remote setting which was still in easy reach of so many stunning settings. It was was comfy, clean and well presented, set in a beautifully well maintained, private garden. The road outside the cottage was barely used, hardly any cars passed during our stay but we did see a couple of joggers and a horse or two. In the garden we saw pheasants, bunnies and buzzards. We’d not been to Exmoor before, but we will certainly be returning as it’s utterly breathtaking with so much to see and do, 4 days was not enough! Highlight for me was St Audries Beach! Thank you Louise and David!

    Kate2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is really tucked away in a quiet spot. It has a beautiful private garden to relax in and all the amenities you could hope for in a holiday home.

Sister cottage to The Mouse House, Honeysuckle has all the charm of a small cosy country cottage. It looks out over the swimming pool it shares with Mouse House and is set in stunning scenery
Honeysuckle Cottage is a 2 bedroomed converted barn, named by the Honeysuckle that grows profusely over the front wall. Facing south and set in 8 acres of private grounds, it looks over Taunton vale with Exmoor rising to the west and the Quantock Hills behind. This cosy cottage opens straight into a kitchen/diner, with a snug sitting room attached. 2 bedrooms upstairs are divided by the bathroom and all three rooms look out over the swimming pool and gardens. In the summer of 2018, both cottages were extensively renovated providing a new bathroom in Honeysuckle with a large walk in shower, fully tiled with underfloor heating. New carpet has been laid in both bedrooms and plantation shutters throughout which gave total light control at anytime. The kitchen now has built in fridge/freezer & microwave, & new worktops & tiles, giving a clean, efficient space. The cottage has been repainted throughout.
Bagborough derives it’s name from the old English word meaning badger’s Hill. The Romans were here and a fine hoard of silver roman coins was found here in 2002. With a population of only 400, many of its amenities have gone, with the exception of The Rising Sun, a 15th century pub with an excellent reputation for good food. However, a supermarket, butcher and petrol station plus other small shops are only 1 mile away in Bishops Lydeard. The splendid Quantock Hills rise behind the village and provide wonderful wildlife and stunning views across to South Wales.
  • This cottage is lovely and cosy all year round. Its location is perfect for exploring the Quantocks (which are beautiful) & Exmoor. The cottage has been converted beautifully & is very well appointed. The swimming pool is a boon in the summer but obviously out of use at Christmas time ! Jenny is a very thoughtful host & has a simply gorgeous dog called Billy.

    Mark2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Located in the small village of west bagborough, you can expect a warm welcome and a relaxing stay in a small, but well proportioned cottage. Just a short walk from the pub where you can enjoy some great food and tasty Somerset cider before returning to the peace and tranquility of Honeysuckle Cottage....... the whole family slept superbly.

    Jeremy2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny’s cottage is set in a beautiful location with stunning views from the garden. The cottage is very well presented, with all the amenities you need. Jenny thoughtfully left a welcome basket of provisions. The village is in the heart of The Quantocks and is very peaceful. We would definitely return in the future, hopefully in the summertime to use the pool.

    Alice2019-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cute cottage in lovely Somerset village. Gorgeous gardens too

    John2019-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I stayed here for five days. Both Honeysuckle Cottage and the Mouse House were beautiful quaint properties and very homely. The welcome basket and flowers were very thoughtful. Even though it was too early for the pool to be opened we were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the tennis court and the amazing guest Italian garden with stunning views. It is a two minute walk to the nearby Rising Sun pub, great for a pint after walks on the lanes and hills around the village. Quantock riding stables are also a two minute walk. We will definitely return to enjoy the pool in the summer months! Jenny was both friendly and respectful of our privacy, striking the right balance as host. Thoroughly recommend this lovely property.

    Paul2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely 3-night stay in the cottage, which was spotlessly clean and super cute. Definitely recommend eating at the local pub which is very welcoming.

    Tom2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend a stay in honeysuckle cottage. Decor is beautifully done and the location is fabulous with amazing views over the hills. The pool was lovely to have there too for a dip. Jenny was great with communication and very friendly. Highly recommend the local steam railway for a day out. We certainly plan to come back one day.

Nether Stowey lies at the foot of the Quantock Hills - which are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - just off the A39. The perfect location for walkers and cyclists, with enough local attractions for those looking for a more relaxed break. Nether Stowey has a long and interesting history. It is the starting point of the Coleridge Way. The Coleridge Way is famous for its links with the Romantic Poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth. The older part of the village is in a conservation area. The village has two pubs, the Rose and Crown and The Ancient Mariner; the latter serves food at lunchtime and evenings. There are a good selection of convenient stores , a small library and the village post office also houses the Quantock Tearoom.

  • Such a great place to stay. The Shepherds hut has everything you could need - ultimate glamping. The weather was awful but we were so toasty warm with the fire. Thanks Matt :)

  • Absolutely beautiful hut to stay in. Perfect location with a pub in walking distance. The view from the hut was stunning. Matt what a fantastic host, and we had everything we needed. The breakfast hamper was lovely. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

  • This place has fantastic views and great amenities. The breakfast provided was great and we really appreciated the 'little touches' in the hut which made our stay more comfortable, especially the sheep rugs for outside round the fire!

    Helen2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very relaxing, stayed on my own and was a very peaceful place to unwind. The WiFi was excellent so I was able to stream the Wimbledon final :)

    Hannah2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Matt very kindly, and at the very last minute, allowed for my parents to stay instead of myself and my boyfriend, due to unforeseen circumstances. Parents absolutely loved the shepherds hut, they said the views were incredible, the hot tub a delight and the hut itself very cosy, and perfect for a night away in the country. Thanks so much for your great hospitality Matt!!

    Alice2019-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing night in the shepherds hut, incredible views and every thing you could want or need for a short stay was provided. Matt provided us with all the local information we needed and was very hospitable. Can’t wait to come back!

The Granary is a delightful detached south facing barn conversion with fabulous views situated in Over Stowey in the foothills of the Quantocks - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the first designated in the UK. The Granary offers exceptional, spacious self catering accommodation for two. It is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area with its free roaming herds of wild red deer and Quantock ponies.
Ideal for walkers, the recently designated Coleridge Way starts from the National Trust owned Coleridge Cottage in the neighbouring village of Nether Stowey. For cyclists, the Quantocks have miles of cycling trails and here at the Granary we can offer plenty of storage for biking equipment. For birdwatchers and walkers alike, we are within 15 minutes' drive of the stunning new Steart Marshes reserve, run by the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust.
We are in a rural location, with the Quantock Hills within less than a 5 minute drive and a Forestry Commission Forest just down the road. Coleridge Cottage, a National Trust Property, is in the nearby village of Nether Stowey. The stunning new nature reserve at Steart Marshes is less than 15 minutes away, as is North Somerset's Jurassic Coast.

A clean, comfortable and well presented double room with ensuite bathroom. Guests are welcome to use the oven or microwave to prepare meals or alternatively Cross Keys pub is 5 minutes walk away. There is access to Netflix, catch up TV and a selection of books and magazines. We have 2 family dogs. Muffin, who is an 11 year old friendly and docile labradoodle and Ringo who is a young, playful labrador. We are 10 minutes drive from Musgrove Park Hospital and 6 minutes from the train station.
  • Claire’s place was amazing, so clean, welcoming and cosy! She had thought of everything and made me feel very welcome! Can’t wait to stay again being in the perfect spot for my working area! Thankyou Claire I loved everything about your home! The dogs are both adorable too! 💕

  • Had a wonderful stay at Claire's place and it was a pleasure to meet her family including Ringo and Muffin the dogs who were both just adorable. Claire was extremely welcoming and hospitable and the room was comfortable and immaculately clean. I thoroughly recommend a stay if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

  • I stayed at Claire's airbnb for 5 weeks whilst I was on my placement for University and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Claire and her kids - shout out to Sam, Joel and Rosie are all great, I promise they will make you feel right at home and comfortable straight away and if you wish, you will also not know they're even there. They are all so considerate and make the stay there so nice and easy. The room is fantastic, the big double bed is so comfy and I am still missing how powerful the en suite shower is! Claire provides the best breakfast in the morning and will definitely lay out something that you would like! They have 2 dogs, Muffin and Ringo; Muffin is the most gentle dog you will ever meet and Ringo has the best personality and temperament you could ask for in a dog, so you will have no worries with that. There is on street parking which was never an issue to find a space and Claire provided me with a house key to use for the 5 weeks! If you ever have any questions or needs Claire will always be happy to help you out and I will miss staying there. If I ever come back to Taunton in the future and need somewhere to stay I will definitely look to come back here first!

A thatched 15th century village pub, serving local ales and excellent food, is only 5 minutes walk alongside a babbling brook.
There is a huge amount to do in the Combe Florey area, the village of Bishops Lydeard is 2 miles away with a range of Pubs, cafes, shops, Cedar Falls health farm and spa and the steam railway. Taunton, the County town of Somerset is 6 miles away and has a good range of shops, parks, a museum, mainline station and County Cricket . Exmoor and the Somerset coast are nearby. Several National Trust properties, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Lynton and Lynmouth, the Valley of the Rocks, Tarr steps, Watersmeet and Rosemoor and Bickleigh gardens are all about an hours drive away.

  • What a fabulous surprise. This lovely Georgian Manor is enormous and set in rolling Quantock foothills. I was looked after very well and stayed in a very comfortable suite of rooms. The large double bed was excellent. There were even usb sockets in the plugs which was handy. The bathroom was great: the shower was very powerful and the temperature easily adjustable. After a good nights sleep, I awoke to see 4 red deer on the drive. Breakfast was just the ticket. Definitely recommend. It seemed like this place is really well geared up for seriously special weddings too. Thank you to Natasha and Chris for such a great stay.

    Ed2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Feeling blessed to have had the opportunity to stay in Crowcombe Court, a beautiful Georgian manor house nestled at the foot of the Quantocks. Our original plan to cycle there was scuppered by an appalling weather forecast which failed to materialise. Nonetheless, loaded the bikes into the car we were able to ride on the Sunday to Watchet, skirting back along the edge of Exmoor, back to Bishops Lydeard, up over the Quantocks and back to Crowcombe. This is a fabulous location for cycling breaks, as long as you don't mind hills, and plenty of testing gradients at that! Nice to also have facilities to hose down the bikes at the end of a muddy lane ride, plus somewhere secure to leave them inside. The hearty and perfectly cooked breakfast certainly helps set you up for the day ahead, but be warned, you will struggle to leave the most comfortable bed to make it down. We struggled! The room itself felt like a touch of modest luxury to me. No tv, but that was a welcome escape. The Carew Arms is extremely close by for food and drink, easy walking distance (10 minutes, if that). We did try out The Blue Ball on our Sunday ride, a little over a mile away and it's an alternative option for somewhere to eat out.

  • This lovely place is a real gem, and incredible value. Very romantic. Essentially, it is a grand old manor house surrounded by the formal gardens and adjacent to a parkland and woodland landscape where you can see red deer grazing every evening. The Quantock AONB location is stunning. The staff, especially Chris, were very friendly and helpful. We had such a great time and would definitely book again.

  • Natalie and Tom were super helpful and considerate hosts and helped me settle in no time. The bedroom is spacious and airy, and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nicely decorated, super clean and the shower worked well. The location is very quiet, even though it is in the middle of the town, close to all amenities on offer. Thanks again to you both, Best, Ed

Our pint sized apartment might be small but it’s bright and unique interior is sure to bring a smile to your face and help you relax. The accommodation provides all your practical necessities whilst making you feel at home. Situated next to a pond and small stream.
Due to its location, it’s a great way to explore the quantocks by foot or bike. The property is small with a mezzanine bedroom and compact kitchen and bathroom, whilst still creating a relaxing space.
Situated at the foot of the quantocks, breathtaking walks await!
  • Snug apartment but has all that you'll need for a comfortable stay. Lovely location in the heart of the Quantocks. We loved our long weekend there.

  • Stayed for two nights. Beautiful place with great use of space. Very stylish, with lovely touches. Peaceful. Location wise you are right on top of the Great Wood. Foxy Bean Cafe is next door (and great). Much as per other reviews, we would reiterate that the space would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, as the steps to the bed/mezzanine are steep.... though that's what makes it so cosy up there! We did struggle to find much in the way of interesting food in the local area other than pub-grub, so possibly not ideal for foodies. But a brilliant spot to relax, and great communication from the hosts. Highly recommended.

  • A beautiful little annex in the heart of the Quantocks. It had everything you need, including a deluxe shower and bathroom. The velux window above the bed is perfect for star gazing and listening to the stream just outside. Lovely vibrant cafe next door and forest walks from the front door.

    Katryn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful little place to stay. The property is done out really nicely with cute finishing touches everywhere. The kitchen has everything you need and the appliances are all really good quality! Bathroom is absolutely delightful with faux rustic tiles in the shower. The sofa is super comfortable and TV has top of the range sound system to enjoy films on the Netflix account. Bed on the mezzanine is really comfortable, although reaching it via the tight staircase might be problematic for some elderly or drunk people. There is enough headroom to sit up in bed comfortably, but it is not high enough to do star jumps, which was fine. The house is located really close to some lovely walks. There is Hawkridge Reservoir just a 7 minute drive away and The Great Wood (an amazingly beautiful place to walk) is on the doorstep. There is also a cafe on site, which was closed when we were there (open Wednesday- Sunday), but we read the reviews on Airbnb and people said it was really nice. So we think it would have been nice, so feel confident in recommending it to others. Lovely. Hosts were helpful, but also left us to it and made us feel at home in the property. Check in was smooth and hassle-free. Would 100% recommend staying in this lovely place and love to go back soon!

    Harry2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great little space! Close to a lovely little cafe and some great woodland and countryside walks. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the stream. The place was small but had everything you need. Good shower, comfy bed, great TV, WiFi, kitchen etc. The access to the bed on the mezzanine floor would be a little tricky for some as its basically a wooden ladder but we found it fine for our needs. Would come again!

    Rosie2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little space amazing location very happy with our stay .

    Ashley2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay here - great location for our mountain biking weekend! very peaceful and flat is much bigger then photos suggest! The decor is really lovely. Our only slight downside was that we found it quite cold - there was no central heating; a heater was provided, but found it didn't offer too much heat - the bathroom was very cold! Not sure I would like to stay more into winter! however we would definitely return in the summer :) We were also able to leave our car there after we checked out so we could head straight out on the bikes which was a bonus :)

    Sally2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This a great place to stay, and feels like your own cabin in the woods! We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts have made a great job of organising and decorating the space. There was everything we needed and if felt very homely. Would definitely recommend it!

At the foot of the beautiful Quantock Hills and only 4 miles from the coast, the perfect location for walkers and cyclists, with enough local attractions for those looking for a more relaxed break.
A small double room with comfortable double bed, hanging space, tea/coffee making facilities and exclusive use of adjacent bathroom. Also a range of maps, books and local information are provided. The room overlooks the garden and Nether Stowey Castle Mount, from which there are beautiful views.
Nether Stowey lies at the foot of the Quantock Hills - which are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - just off the A39. First mentioned in Anglo-Saxon times as an agricultural settlement and in the Doomsday Book as being one of four separate manors, Nether Stowey has a long and interesting history. It is the starting point of the Coleridge Way The Coleridge Way and is famous for its links with the Romantic Poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth. The older part of the village is in a conservation area. The village has two pubs, the Rose and Crown and The Ancient Mariner; the latter serves food at luchtime and evenings. There are a good selection of shops, a small library and the village post office also houses the Quantock Tearoom. The Mount - Nether Stowey Castle - was a Norman motte-and-bailey castle, built in the 11th century. It has been designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and there are fantastic views from the top. Only 9 miles from the M5 Nether Stowey is easily accessible from any part of the country. There are regular rail and coach services to Bridgwater (8 miles). Perfect for keen walkers and cyclists, we are 4 miles from the West Somerset coast, 2 miles from the top of Quantock Common, 8 miles from the start of Exmoor.
  • Jan is a lovely, welcoming host. I stayed in a comfortable bed and had the use of my own bathroom with shower and a bath. The whole house was immaculately clean. I also enjoyed my breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit that was provided. There was also space for a car on the drive. Definitely recommended. Thank you 😀

  • Jan has such a lovely place that I almost don't want to reveal this little secret to the world of Airbnb. Jan is a great host, very attentive and quick communicator. More than happy to chat but likewise gives you your own space too. Her house is a haven. Beautiful and very homely. The room was great, perfect size and the bed was super comfortable. There was everything you needed including tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Jan and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

  • Lovely place to come down too Looks and is delightful, and on a really wet windswept night too. Will have to come down on better more sunny day. Really comfortable, and gorgeous bathroom. Next to a Pub, with great beer and food. All in all, brilliant. Any visit down to the Quantocks deserves a visit here, which we will do again. oh yes , staff were great, we got down late and they all looked after us, even getting us some food, even though te kitchen was closed. Thank you

    roy2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is in a quaint little thatched building in the garden of the Blue Ball pub but we were not troubled by noise from the pub at all, nor is there any noise from traffic, etc - it is an amazingly quiet location. The bedroom is on the ground floor with kettle and tray for tea/coffee making, and there is also a TV. The bathroom upstairs has a shower and big freestanding bath. Note that this is accessed up a steep spiral staircase, which was fine for us, but might be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, a beautiful rural location with lots of potential for walks and very good value accommodation.

    Stephanie2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • The photos give one a truthful idea of size and layout and it's been very well thought through with clever use of space. We ate in the pub and the food and drink was to a very high standard and not over priced. They are all very dog friendly but I also found that there are enough spaces in different rooms so that if you do not like dogs you do not have to see them at all. Late at night , we heard no noise from the pub clientele leaving or the staff shutting the place. A great find which we will be returning to.

    Dave2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had an incredible stay at the Blue Ball Inn, we could not have asked for a better host than Lynda. The accommodation was simply perfect and offered everything we needed. The Blue Ball Inn serves exceptional food and Lynda’s staff team were fantastic. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and cannot wait to return. The hospitality you will receive is second to none. Thoroughly recommend a visit here, you will not be disappointed.

Our cottage is located in a quiet and tranquil valley and yet we are just a short drive from Wiveliscombe Taunton and Wellington for all your shopping needs. The valley abounds with birds and all manner of native wildlife and there are numerous footpaths and bridleways on the doorstep so you can explore with ease. Part of the Wivey way goes through our garden! Exmoor , The Brendon hills , The Quantocks AONB and The Blackdown hills AONB are all within a 10 mile radius. We love it here.
The Holt began as a garage but became a bit more. It is built from stone that was on site believed to be from an old mill cottage on the leat edge. The end gable is an oak frame and is glazed. Curtains do not do it justice so you will be able to appreciate the stars unhindered. (A room divider is provided for your privacy. )There is little light pollution here hence the stars fill the sky on a clear night. It is a cosy and warm space with excellent heating and a log burner as well. The holt has a mezzanine floor which forms the sleeping area and a central staircase rising from the open plan living area. There is a separate kitchen and bathroom. Outside there is a small gravelled area with the mill leat running alongside. The perfect place to soak up the evening sun. You have space to park in the carport or on the drive.
This valley is just so wonderful to come home to. You'll have to come to see.

  • We discovered a new part of Somerset: Quantock Hills. Tilbury farm offers great views. The cottage is comfortable and in a quiet area. Thanks for the farm shop quality foods for breakfast, Matt.

  • We had a fantastic stay at Matt's farm, the cottage is perfect with everything you need, including the most beautiful views! We loved the breakfast food provided. The farm is in such a great location, great for exploring the Quantocks and Exmoor, as well as the coast. Thanks Matt, we'll be back! :)

  • I wanted to say "we came we saw we conquered" but that got vetoed for a far more accurate and descriptive: I mean that’s a nice line but not very helpful. You need to mention v easy check in, good communication, lovely breakfast things, beautiful place, even more beautiful view, everything we needed in the kitchen, completely clean and tidy, good wifi and all channels, generally very comfortable and perfect for a weekend getaway thank you Matt perfect stay can reccomend.

  • We had a really lovely stay. Such a great family house. The beds were comfy. Everything was sparkling clean. The garden was beautiful and we loved watching the birds though the kitchen window on the feeder.

  • Lovely property and very peaceful for a retreat, but only 5 miles to Taunton for a shopping visit. Maxine left eggs and milk etc for us which was very thoughtful

  • We had a wonderful stay at Maxine's place. Communication from the outset was fantastic, check in was an easy and smooth process. The space was perfect for our needs, wonderful to have the porch to store muddy outdoor gear, and somewhere secure to store our bikes (the local mountain biking was excellent!). The place had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, sofa and beds were comfortable. The views out over the fields were beautiful. A truly peaceful place for a relaxing stay, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. We would definitely return in the future! Thanks Maxine

  • Geat place! We had a perfect weekend here. The house was immaculte and had everythig we needed., the beds were super comfortable, and we enjoyed making a big meal and eating aroud the table in the kitchen, before relaxing in the living room with some games. The location was ideal, and made a great spot to come back to after a long day walking in the Quantocks. You get a real sense of peace and quiet here too, as it's tucked away from any main roads. Max and Franc were warm and welcoming hosts and made our stay easy. Would definitely stay again!
