Despite huge demand, we have decided that out of respect for our neighbours and the village that we will no longer take bookings for stays to take place over the next few weeks. We will update this listing as and when things change, but for now our family wish you and your families all the best in the coming weeks. J, J, I, F & A
Recently selected by and featured in Suitcase Magazine (The Culture of Travel) as one of 'The 14 Coolest Cabins in the UK & Ireland',this former Blacksmith's building was transformed by Francis Philips Architects into a great escape, with the addition of a suspended walkway & a timber frame extension clad in charred Siberian Larch. The well equipped kitchen is the hub of our house, with a big table, concrete floor and full height windows and doors leading to a small private garden. The sitting room has a wood burning stove and double height ceiling; the suspended walkway above it links the two upstairs bedrooms - the main bedroom with a high pitch ceiling, adjacent dressing space & bathroom and the kids/twin bedroom which is in the eaves. The third bedroom is downstairs and has its own adjacent shower room.
Located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gretton is a lovely village located in the heart of the Cotswolds. Gretton is a sweet village with no shops but a great local pub! We are a couple of miles from the market town of Winchcombe, home to Sudeley Castle and some truly wonderful restaurants, we are also just 9 miles from beautiful Cheltenham. The local walks are stunning and varied. Take the GWR steam train to the races and Cheltenham Festival, watch or partake in the marvellous Prescott Hill Climb, and visit the home of The Bugatti Owners Club. Winchcombe has an award winning Budgens with local produce and COOK products.
  • Gorgeous stay in a wonderful location.

  • The Blacksmiths, is a relaxing and family friendly place to stay. It feels like a home from home. We went with our 3 and 1 year old who settled in immediately with a selection of books and toys to entertain them. The stairs weren't an issue with good stair gates even for our climbing obsessed 1 year old. The bit I like is as well as being family friendly it is also a stylish and contemporary home, where the adults can relax. Plenty of space downstairs to enjoy in the evening. Great local amenities and beautiful countryside around makes it a perfect getaway from it all.

  • Johanna’s place is beautifully comfortable, even with the contemporary design it always felt cosy. The under floor heating was amazing after a cold day outside, the hot tub was ready at our arrival, the complimentary fizz in the fridge was delicious, the beds and bedding were so comfortable. Showers were powerful and hot water on tap. Loads of toys which the kids loved discovering and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking some proper meals. Easy to find, good parking for one car, quaint location and very close to Winchcombe and Sudeley castle. Great stay!

  • A lovely home in an idyllic location. Perfect for a family holiday, including the pooches!

  • Great property! Well equipped and with a cosy feeling. This was a really stylish property, beautifully designed and with lots of things available for toddlers & children - books / toys, highchair etc. We'd definitely stay again, it would be nice in the summer with the lovely outside space.

    Zoe2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place with everything you could possibly need and nice little extras. It is much bigger than it appeared in pictures and was pristine. We had use of the hot tub which was great. Would definitely recommend and Johanna was very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay.

    Joanne2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Johanna’s place was brilliant. I could not asked for a better place to stay. The amenities are unmatched. We will come back!

  • The Blacksmiths shop is wonderful home in a great location in the Cotswolds. Jo’s instructions were spot on, and the description and photos of the house very accurate. The house is stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with some nice touches on arrival (we certainly appreciated the Christmas tree!). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Picturesque 1 mile walk to medieval Winchcombe, home to the fascinating & majestic Sudeley Castle. Browse the interesting & varied array of shops, excellent restaurants, superb cafés & cosy pubs.
** I always clean the shepherd hut with antibacterial solutions anyway, but in the current situation with Coronavirus, I am now also leaving the shepherd hut empty for at least 48 hrs between bookings, allowing for a period of time to deep clean and to reduce any spread of the infection. I hope these are words of reassurance. Kind regards Kate x ** Our lovely self-contained Shepherd Hut is fully equipped with a comfortable double bed which easily converts into a relaxing seating area with TV and optional dining table. An oil-filled wall mounted radiator warms the Hut and keeps it cosy all year round. The Hut also has a small wardrobe including hangers and space for storing your bags. Fresh towels and bedlinen provided. Tea & coffee included. Free WiFi. Immediately outside the hut is a small gravelled area with a table and chairs for al-fresco dining and admiring the spectacular countryside. The hut is set in a beautiful half-acre wild flower paddock where you are free to wander. In summer a BBQ is available for your own personal use and sun loungers available on request! The Shepherd Hut is located in an elevated position within our large part-walled paddock. From here you can appreciate extensive Cotswold hillside views towards Cleeve Hill and Winchcombe. • A beautiful place for a retreat! A very modern space with stunning views. Warm and cosy despite storm Jorge!

    Hannah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for a weekend to get away from ‘reality’ and the shepherds hut certainly delivered beyond my expectations. The space was clean and tidy with all the little things you would need for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and the finishing touches throughout were thoughtful. I would highly recommend staying here and would do so again in the future to visit more of the areas I didn’t get round to this weekend! Kate was quick to respond to any questions I had and very helpful!

    Noemi2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

  • Myself and 10 other friends reunited here for a weekend get away. We were provided with a small welcome pack including coffee, tea and sugar which was lovely. Jan was very quick to respond to messages and was more than flexible when we wanted to add extra people. The rooms were spacious and it was plenty big enough for all of us. Jan gave us loads of information about things to do in the area and places to eat which we had a look at. Richard came to greet us on Saturday morning as we arrived a little late on Friday and gave us instructions on a nice walk we could do, he was very friendly and said we could check out a little later on the Sunday which was perfect. The cottage was slightly difficult to find however it was very dark when we arrived which was probably why. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely go back. Thankyou Richard and Jan!

    Celine2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our recent stay was perfect for a family get together. The bedrooms were spacious and the house was very cosy. We had 2 dogs for most of the stay and the garden was very secure when the gate was closed. Richard very kindly called with logs for the wood burner and it was a lovely touch to find a basket with tea, sweets, crackers etc in the kitchen. Jan was very responsive with and queries we had.

    Alison2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ivy Cottage is perfectly located for visiting the Cotswolds, near Bredon Hill, Tewksbury, Broadway and many other lovely villages. The size of cottage four bedrooms are ideal for 8-10 people (4 couples + 2) and the dining and reception rooms are very cosy and a good size. Off street parking plenty for 4-5 cars though a little narrow gate access from street. Too late in the year for us to enjoy the garden but it looked ideal for summertime.

    David2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This house provided good accommodation to house our family get together and felt like a comfortable space, where everyone was relaxed and yet, had adequate room. Our hosts were excellent communicators and were very attentive. For guests over 6’ tall, please note that the cottage beams might cause a small height issue.

    Catriona2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jan and Richard were lovely hosts. Both were very responsive, accommodating and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are very cozy, and while the living and dining room felt slightly smaller than on pictures, it was even more perfect for our group. Jan and Richard’s cottage was perfect for our for group birthday celebration!

  • A last minute booking and a lovely stay after our other AirBnb host cancelled last minute. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, cottage, bedding etc clean.

    Amanda2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cosy autumn weekend away. Weather was shockingly terrible but the cottage is so cosy and homely. We had such an amazing weekend and our dogs loved the nearby walks! The house had everything and more! So much space!

    Carey2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I absolutely loved our weekend away in the Cotswolds. Jans place was perfect for the ten of us. The cottage had everything you could possible want and was the perfect base to explore from. The tips and local knowledge was much appreciate as was the little box of goodies on arrival. I would not hesitate to recommend Jan’s place to my friends and family and would relish the opportunity to stay again in the future. Thank you for all your wonderful hospitality.

    Joseph2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • If you book with Nicki, you won’t regret it! It was my first time booking with Air B and B, and was a little nervous with what to expect. But she was fab! Offered us an alcoholic beverage on arrival and gave plenty of info on things to do around the area. She’d also left us bread, cereal, milk and orange juice for breakfast, which was great! The apartment was beautiful and just perfect for what we were looking for. Thank you again Nicki!!

    Amy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nicki was an excellent host - considering she had to stand on the side of the road in the rain with a torch to help us find the right house, she would have been forgiven for being a bit off with us! She wasn't at all however and, after showing us around the gorgeous studio, gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy on our first night. Had a wonderful stay (despite Storm Dennis) and would recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away.

    Ami2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely studio, easily one of the best we have ever stayed in. Really thoughtful touches made our stay lovely, DVDs and a games compendium! Really well located for exploring the cotswolds and the Malvern hills. Lots of national trust places around. Would happily visit again!

    Joseph2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Nicki and the studio are lovely! Very responsive and attentive, with lovely touches of detail. Great shower with hot water and comfy bed. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again!

    Pari2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Spent a wonderful weekend in this delightful space! It was exactly what myself and my partner were looking for. Located perfectly with great links it really does tick all the boxes. Hosts were fantastic and accommodated is so well and loved the personal touches they put in place.

    Chris2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • You will simply not be disappointed, the Studio is immaculate! It is in a great location for the local area and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, plus Nikki is a lovely host and very helpful! In addition, lots of nice touches such as milk, butter, bread, tea bags, coffee etc (and chocolate!!). Would definitely stay there again!

    Mike2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nicki is a lovely host and the studio is cozy and beautiful. We spent our time mainly on the outdoors hiking and cycling which the location is great for. The studio is perfect to relax after such activities and there are also plenty of nice pubs in driving distance to have a decent evening meal. Exactly what we hoped for for a retreat for a few days.

The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.
  • Really great, clean and homely cottage with very friendly hosts. So much information was provided about local things to do and see. On arrival there was bread, wine, tea and coffee all stocked up, with information about local shops etc. Stunning location to add to it all.

  • Absolutely wonderful stay at Bramley Cottage. Pete and Liz and so friendly and welcoming. The house is warm, spotless and wonderfully comfortable. The thoughtful touches, flowers, fruit, milk and bread were so kind. Pete and Liz even got a bag of animals ready for our toddler-she had a fantastic time playing with them. Liz very kindly came out to feed Lucy the sheep so our daughter could see her. We highly recommend staying at Bramley cottage. We intend to visit again!

    Chris2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had booked a weekend away with our 4.5month old baby and the flat did not disappoint - everything was clean, comfortable and stylish - there was more than enough room for all the baby stuff we carted with us! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the bedding was very comfortable. There is a staircase on entrance to the flat - however given our baby is still in a car seat this was not a problem for us. Lee’s communication was great and we checked in effortlessly via a key safe by the front door. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area.

  • Churchfields was an excellent place for our few nights away. We instantly felt at home with thoughtful touches. Lee was a great host, quick and friendly with communication. Check in/out was efficient and easy. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was very well equipped so we cooked both nights. The bed was very comfortable and we were lovely and cosy in the evenings with blankets for the sofa and the electric fire. The location was fab, walking distance to all Bishops Cleeve has to offer and only a short drive into Cheltenham or to great walks in the Cotswolds. Fantastic value for money and would highly recommend. Thank you Lee! Andy & Mae

Ex - grooms room, in the grounds of a beautiful country mansion. Self contained bedsit/studio with parking. Stabling available at extra cost if you want to turn this into an equine holiday! 4 miles from Tewkesbury and on the outskirts of Twyning, a beautiful location for a country break. Seasonal breakfast ingredients provided, but we are afraid you'll have to cook them yourself! Tea and coffee making facilities also provided. Fresh milk and bread will be in the fridge when you arrive.
  • This is my second time staying at The Groomsroom and enjoyed it as much as the last time. Its a very quiet location and your neighbour is a horse called Midnight, who pops his head out of the stable when he hears your about. There is nothing that you will want that's not already there. Everything you need you will find here and the hosts are great. I will look forward to staying here again when I am in Cheltenham. Parking is no problem at all,

  • As most times in life, people are judged on their behaviour, in this case Chris & Maggie excelled and made us feel very welcome, the Horse, Cat and the environment was fantastic.

  • We had a great stay. Perfect homely studio in a beautiful location. Warm and cosy with nice facilities. Maggie was a great host and even left us bacon, eggs and toast for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

  • This is the second time that I have stayed in this bijou, stylish, clean, and well-appointed property. The quiet town-centre location with reserved off-street parking is perfect, and Jane definitely deserves her Superhost moniker !!! I will most definitely be back ;-)

  • Absolutely outstanding as always. I’ve stayed at janes wonderful property many times and always sad to go, it’s beautifully decorated and warm and cosy.

    Jayne2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful Airbnb, and Jane clearly knows how to make a place feel welcoming and comfortable. We loved the home-from-home comfort: Amazon Echo, SKY, Netflix, and Jane's 'foodie treats'. There is a big loung-y sofa, large table to work at, good range of cooking utensils, spices, oils, jam, butter, etc. The location is super quiet, yet just behind the town centre, near the Abbey and high street. The off street parking is ideal, as the area is mostly controlled parking. Note: we loved the Cross House Tavern, with locally sourced beer, cider and perry. Also, the Rosado Lounge had great healthy, veggie, vegan, gluten free options. A lovely townhouse, just book it!

A large 4 bed detached house with 1 available guest room. A double bed with bedside table and wardrobe for storage. Guests would have sole access to the family bathroom between themselves and free parking on the driveway. Wireless internet is also SUPER fibre optic Unfortunately, we are not offering breakfast at this stage. The Cheltenham racecourse is just 2.6 miles away (about a 25min walk away from the location) and a 5 mins drive or less depending on traffic.
The home is also about 10 mins walking distance from local shops, Tesco’s and the village pubs and it’s directly next to a bus stop which takes 5/10 mins to get into town.
The neighbourhood is very family orientated and there is a green park area at the front of the house which is used by dog walkers and children playing.

Orchard Nook is in the peaceful village of Teddington, just a few miles from Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds. The space is a two bedroom cottage, giving you your own space and complete privacy - but situated next to the owners home so we’re always on hand to offer assistance or advice on exploring the area. There is a double bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds, and an open lounge/kitchen area which is perfect for socialising.
The cottage is a modern converted guesthouse, located next door to the owners property at the edge of the Cotswolds. You will find everything you need for a relaxing break. Outside you will have your own secluded patio area with table and chairs suitable for al fresco dining or to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. You will also have use of the owners garden with lovely views of fields and hills. Depending on when you visit you might find the field bordering the garden containing crops, or a variety of livestock. Grouse and pheasant are a common sight, as well as deer at certain times of the year. Inside, the downstairs consists of an open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area which is perfect for socialising. In the lounge area there is a large HDTV with Netflix and a Chromecast, games console/bluray player (with games and movies included). The kitchen has a Nespresso coffee maker with complimentary capsules, electric hob, oven, fridge and freezer, a microwave, toaster, utensils and crockery/cutlery and washing machine. The whole property has access to broadband via WiFi. Both bedrooms are situated upstairs, with the master bedroom containing a king-size double bed, and two single beds in the second bedroom. The master bedroom includes a desk with mirror that can be used as a dresser, or as a laptop-friendly workspace. There is central heating throughout, along with a new boiler to ensure a cosy stay all year round. A pleasant 15 minute walk away over fields is a garage that stocks a number of essentials, a Subway sandwich shop and a farm shop that sells local produce - along the way is a children's play area. There's no local pub, but there are a variety of pub and eating options within a short drive. The cottage is ideal for couples, young families, small groups of friends, solo adventurers and anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway that is close to a great many places to visit.
The cottage is located in a picturesque village just a few miles from Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester and the M5. It is ideal for a peaceful getaway with easy access to everything the Cotswolds has to offer.
  • A lovely private, quiet place to use as a base for a couple's or family holiday in the Cotswolds. Scott and Helene are brilliant hosts. The accommodation was comfortable and very well equipped, with just about everything we needed provided. We were able to charge our car whenever we needed to as well, which made the whole break effortless. Super value, highly recommended.

  • This is a true find! Helene and Scott are master hosts and go above and beyond to ensure you feel well looked after. The home is wonderful and the perfect size. We had two adults and two pre-teens to cater for and all were satisfied. The home even kept them entertained, with the PS3, Roku tv and Chromecast, there was something for everyone. The kitchen and facilities had everything we needed and the location was idillic and peaceful. Would totally recommend!

  • A great place to stay and in a great location to explore the Cotswolds. Very clean and tidy and set in a nice little village. We would definitely use again.

    Tommy2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely guest house. It was just what we needed and the location is perfect (there's shop and petrol station nearby and superstore under ten minutes drive away). The house itself was clean and plenty of space in the cupboard and drawers to put our own stuff (we're self catering). Plenty of tourist attraction under an hour drive. The bathroom is downstairs which wasn't a great deal. Just need to mind the low ceiling upstairs where the bedrooms are. Overall a lovely experience.

    Merlyn2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 4 nights at Orchard Nook and found it to be a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding area. The accomodation was clean and had everything that we needed (including a very comfortable king-sized bed) as well as a few extra 'bonus' items that really made us smile, such as the coffee machine and the games console. Helene was available for any issues or questions that we may have had, but otherwise gave us privacy, so even though she lives next to the property you really do have your own space to enjoy. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and appreciate the effort that Helene and Scott have gone to to make this a lovely place to stay in.

The Olive Tree is a 19th century cottage hidden away in the centre of the medieval town of Tewkesbury where the rivers Avon and Severn meet.; minutes away from cafes, pubs and restaurants. Tewkesbury is steeped in history from the 7th century with the a 10th century Abbey. Near by are the beautiful Cotswold villages and the famous Cheltenham town and Race Course. M5 : Junction 9 ~ 10 mins Train Station ~ 16 mins Cheltenham & Gloucester ~ 25 mins Birmingham ~ 1 hour 15 mins
My cottage lends itself more easily to adults due to the quirky cottage style.... The cottage has been renovated to reflect and remain in keeping with 19th century features of that day. The modern decor themes are sympathetic to the era and enhance the 19th century features in the cottage .... a comfortable space to relax in.
The Olive Tree is 3 minutes from Tewkesbury High Street with cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and sites of historic interest. The Royal Hope Pole (a licensed house) in the centre of Tewkesbury, was visited by the writer Charles Dickens and is mentioned in his book 'Pickwick Papers'.....Tewkesbury Abbey is a beautiful architectural building with history through the ages in plain view as you wander around its building and grounds. Tewkesbury is one of the rare towns in the country that has maintained its original footprint, with no change in the road systems since its beginnings. It also is a town with a plethora of alleys and walkways that were a community in themselves through the centuries, very unique to Tewkesbury.

  • I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at The Olive Tree, and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to discover the delights of Tewksbury. Evelyn is a highly personable and thoughtful host, who goes above and beyond for all her guests. Nothing is too much trouble. Her home is beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The Olive Tree really is a home-from-home, and is well situated in the heart of town, with all the local amenities within walking distance. The bed is particularly comfy - I've slept so well! A memorable stay with a lovely host. I would visit again! Thank-you Evelyn.

  • I couldn’t think of somewhere more lovely to stay. Evelyn is a wonderful host went out of her way to make me feel welcome and looked after in her cosy cottage. It is minutes from the town centre, which was ideal for working at the theatre, and very well equipped with everything I could possibly need. Thanks again for such a comfortable and lovely stay.

    Kate2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first experience abroad, and one I was fairly nervous about at first. I was over for a month in total and rented out a room with Evelyn for the duration of the trip. Not only were the room and lodgings themselves, clean, well looked after, and cozy, but Evelyn was helpful beyond belief in recommending excellent locations to visit, the best means of transport, as well as offering more than appreciated advice when asked about the country as a whole. The lodgings as a whole were thoroughly enjoyable, and for myself helped immensely with getting acclimated to the trip.

    Connor2019-11-01T00:00:00Z

A comfy double room in the heart of Bishops Cleeve
Hello, my name is Aimée. I've been an airbnb host for over two years now. My quirky little cottage is situated in a convenient location in the heart of Bishops Cleeve village, close to all local amenities and the bus route into Cheltenham town. My cottage is a perfect stay for those visiting Cheltenham, the surrounding Cotswold villages, the Cotswold Way and the wonderful festivals such as the Gold Cup and other local events. It has been previously used for those that require accommodation for short term contract work in the area. Stable cottage has a large kitchen with the use of all appliances and a shared dining area. The bedroom has a double bed with the use of some wardrobe space if required. The large bathroom is shared. Off-road parking is also available for guests.
Bishops Cleeve is a lovely village just outside of Cheltenham, escaping the hectic atmosphere but is an easy bus ride into the town. Here we are on the edge of the Cotswolds, surrounded by hills and small, quaint and beautiful villages each one unique in its character. Within just a few minutes walk from my cottage there are village pubs, two supermarkets, reputable takeaways and cafés, a post office, ATMs and a petrol station. The Cotswolds are a wonder. Country pubs that offer outstanding beer and food, countless walks through the countryside that is bustling with wildlife, and gorgeous scenes that words can't do justice to describe. Cheltenham is a fun and interesting town embedded with history and beautiful regency buildings, including the Pittville Pump Room, a remnant of Cheltenham’s past as a spa town. There's fine art at The Wilson museum, and the Victorian Everyman Theatre has an ornate auditorium. Cheltenham hosts several festivals of culture, often featuring nationally and internationally famous contributors and attendees. The list of festivals includes: the Cheltenham Literature Festival, the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, the Cheltenham Science Festival, the Cheltenham Music Festival, the Cheltenham Cricket Festival, and the Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival. As the home of the flagship race of British steeplechase horse racing, the Gold Cup is the main event of the Cheltenham Festival, held every March.

This is a self contained flat with a kitchenette, large shower room and studio living space with bed, sofa, tv and small table. Stunning views over the cotswolds rolling hills and quiet location. Note that during harvest time some tractor noise may be heard due to its rural location and a small amount animal noise particularly during feeding times as the property is located on a small farm. Although in the countryside, the property is 5 minutes from Winchcombe or Broadway and 10 from Cheltenham.
This is a modern self contained flat with its own separate entrance nestled in the peaceful rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
Quiet rural farm on the outskirts of a small village.
  • This is the best air B and B I have ever stayed in. It was absolutely perfect. Great hosts who couldn’t do enough to help us. The place itself is modern and clean. Everything you could possibly want is provided, if it isn’t I have no doubt the hosts would be more than happy to help. Will certainly be staying here again in future!

    Danielle2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The room was lovely and had everything you needed for a short stay. It was a thoughtful touch to have fresh bread and orange juice for breakfast. The location is great if you want to visit the small villages nearby. Would recommend to all for a quick getaway.

  • Amazing place to stay. Me and my wife had a lovely time in this cosy Shepard’s hut. Really warm and comfortable with all mod cons including the sheep and pony outside our door... the hut itself is brand new and is bespoke. The smell is incredible as the hut is made out of oak from Eastern Europe. Our hosts were polite and welcoming letting us come and go as we pleased over the course of the weekend. Brilliant! You won’t be disappointed

Great host: v responsive. We had a lovely time. The Apple Store is in the small Cotswold village of Kemerton in a quiet stable yard. It is a private, self-contained small studio detached from the main house but within easy reach of the owners next door. The studio faces south over a grass field, usually holding a horse or two, and is perfect for a quiet retreat. The little courtyard is charming in the summer and a nice place to chill out. The decor is shabby chic but comfortable and under floor heating keeps the temperture stable.
Continental breakfast only. The studio has a small kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and tableware. There is no oven. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The studio has onsite parking. The yard is currently in poor condition with mud and pot holes but there is gravel standing for the car immediately by the studio and the short distance from car to door is all gravelled. Well trained dogs are welcome.
Kemerton is a charming Cotswold village in a beautiful, rural setting. The village pub, which is walking distance from the studio, serves good food. In Tewkesbury, 4 miles away, there are several restaurants and pubs and a stunning Abbey. For nature lovers, Bredon Hill offers wonderful walks and there is a local nature reserve within walking distance with a beatuful lake, bird hides and lots of waterfowl. For week-day visitors there is an excellent alternative health clinic just up the road offering Acupuncture, Massage, Cranial Osteopathy, McTimoney Chiropractic Treatment and Reflexology. Treatments must be booked in advance through Reception on 01386 725 461.

A dear little garden chalet, newly equipped, perfect for one. The picturesque garden can be enjoyed from the windows, and you are welcome to sit by the pond and enjoy the tranquility. Can be rented together with a two-bed flat in main house . WI FI
The chalet is in the garden of a house in the quaint village of Twyning, three miles from the historic town of Tewkesbury. It is also 200 metres from The River Avon, where boating and fishing take place. The Fleet Inn stands on the river bank - famous for its good food. There is another inn in the village, as well as a village shop.
There are many places to cycle. There is fishing and boating on the river, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Malvern and Cheltenham are all near by.
  • Lovely little place to stay. Terry was a great host, very friendly but also allowed me to enjoy some much needed peace. He had left me some unexpected (but very gratefully received) food basics - which I thought was very kind. I will definitely return, and also recommend to others.

This cosy Tudor cottage, with original features and open-plan living space, is hidden away down one of Tewkesbury's famous alleyways, at the centre of the riverside town. The cottage benefits from a view over rooftops to the historic Tewkesbury Abbey and a sunny terrace garden for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. This is a unique place to stay whilst taking in the sights of a famous medieval town and surrounding area, before snuggling up under a blanket in front of a warm fire.
The property comprises of three floors. The attic space is accessed via a steep but broad wooden ladder with no rail. There is no safety banister in the attic and this would not be suitable/safe for young children or those with reduced mobility. Access to the attic is through the main bedroom. Access to the bathroom is also through the main bedroom. Bear this is mind for privacy purposes. A sofa bed is available in the living room.
With a rich, vibrant history and a beautiful waterside setting, there is plenty to discover in Tewkesbury. I love to walk along the River Severn, taking in the stunning scenery and wildlife, including the occasional kingfisher. A boat trip along the River Avon is another lovely way to take in the scene. Tewkesbury Abbey has been an imposing feature of the town’s landscape for nearly 900 years. Its beautiful Norman tower is world-renowned. With its ornate 12th Century ceiling and stunning stained glass windows, the Abbey is one of Gloucestershire’s most popular tourist attractions. Tewkesbury's history can be further explored through the town's museums, Heritage Centre and walking trails. Tewkesbury has a full calendar of events, celebrations and festivals to enjoy including the world-famous Medieval Festival, popular Food & Drink Festival and Mop Fair. Cheltenham and Gloucester, as well as the beautiful countryside and bijou villages of the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills are all on the doorstep. Tewkesbury has numerous coffee shops, but my personal favourite is Tilly's Tea Room, which is a two minute walk away serving fresh homemade cakes. For those with a taste for something stronger, the Cross House Tavern offers a fascinating setting where you can enjoy a selection of local ales and ciders. For excellent fish and chips, I go to Steamy Windows Fish Bar.

  • This place is amazing! A huge thanks to Jenny for having us this weekend when she clearly had lots of other things going on. Sadly we didn't get to meet Tony but Jenny made sure we were all set up and was incredibly welcoming. The Posh Shed was sparkling clean when we arrived, everything you could want (and more) was available and the local area is lovely. We booked last minute and did not regret... we had a lovely weekend and stay and will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy some sunshine! If I could give 12/10 as my rating I would!

    Jade2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is the 2nd time I have stayed in the posh shed and it was just as good as I remember. Tony and Jenny are excellent hosts and the full cooked breakfast was lovely!

  • We booked to stay in the 'Posh Shed' as we had an event at Cheltenham Racecourse. In the first instance it was the location that attracted us but very quickly we realised that Tony and Jenny have created a very 'special' place to offer on Airbnb. Unique in its design and clever in how stylish the space has been furnished. There are so many thoughtful touches that make it too long to list in this review..... I suggest that you book a stay and discover them for yourself. Tony is a very welcoming host and together with Jenny they are very giving people - no request is too much and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything that you need. We found the accommodation spacious, warm, welcoming and clean plus it represents exceptional value for money. 5* from us.

  • Great use of space, much bigger than we expected. The studio has everything you need and more. The games and DVDs were a lovely homely touch. The studio is in a great location to get around Tewkesbury. The amenities in the studio is everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

  • When we arrived we were surprised and delighted at how big the space was; we were expecting smaller and more basic but it far exceeded our expectations. Now I look back at the photos it seems obvious it is the size it is, but initially we felt it was much more than we were expecting, which was great! Elaine has a good sense of style and design and how to get the best out of a dinky area. The kitchen able to cater for quite hands on chefs with two portable hobs that pop out of a cupboard and a microwave /connection combi oven. We loved our stay here, and will be stealing some of Elaine's ideas for designing a space for sure!

  • Really nice hidden gem

  • The place was incredible. You have to climb stairs to get in so if you need assistance, this is not the place for you. The place was well appointed, ample room, off of the main route so noise was at a minimum.

  • The Tree House was the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds from. Kate and Colin are exceptional hosts. They had thought of every touch to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The home is beautifully decorated and very private, separate from the main house, so we could come and go as we pleased without feeling that we were disturbing anyone. There is lots to explore in the area too. Highly recommend!
