  • Wonderful experience. Spacious, super clean home, beautiful garden, peaceful area and private

    Rosalie2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment that I walked through the door I was made to feel very welcome. The hostess, Sue, was charming and incredibly interesting and I enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining chat with her. The bedroom was very comfortable and what struck me the most was that everything was of a great quality; the bed, the mattress, the sheets, the duvet and especially the towels. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower/bath. The kitchen, to which I had complete access, was also spacious and the coffee and tea were of a really good quality; how rare that is to find these days! The entire house was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and there was absolutely nothing that I could fault. For me the location was a joy; a small pretty English village set right in the middle of beautiful countryside. I might add that Susan's garden was gorgeous and the lawn was absolutely immaculate! Having suffered a number of nights in the different hotels in Market Harborough it was a joy to get a good night's sleep! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I cannot recommend Susan's airbnb highly enough.

    Chris2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect a genuine welcome from Susan into her lovely home. She's got a very down to earth, flexible and 'can do' approach to life and that's so refreshing in todays world. Having a lovely (quiet) pub just across the road is a real bonus too!

  • Gorgeous house, extremely good value for money. Susan is so friendly, I felt completely relaxed and very welcome in her home. I could not recommend enough and so grateful to find somewhere so beautiful at such an amazing price.

Sibbertoft, Market Harborough, England, United Kingdom

This 19th century village property is welcoming and full of character. The ground floor offers a single bedroom and twin/double room, both rooms have a sharing toilet and shower room, separate to the rest of the property. It offers its own sofa-lounge area with tv to share between these 2 rooms. The 3rd room is family size room located on the 2nd floor and equipped with a kingsize bed and the option of 2 extra single beds to accommodate families where needed, with TV and shared bathroom.
This property is at the heart of the Village and within a stones throw to the local public house. There are plenty of fields and bridal paths for hikes and adventures that you can enjoy. The property has plenty of street parking for guests to use. Also available is a fully functional kitchen and facilities that all guests are welcome to use as they please.
My property is located within a prime location and close to A5/M1/M6. We have the pleasure of being so close the incredible Stanford Hall with all the events they host from the Firework competitions to the Wolf run events. We are centrally located between both Rugby and Lutterworth with both being approx 4miles away. Rugby being so famous for the sport and also the gorgeous Rugby school it is always well worth a trip. Lutterworth is a small quaint town and has variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as does Rugby so you are spoilt for choose. Food delivery services are available from both Rugby and Lutterworth. Kilworth House is a spectacular hotel with an incredible open air theatre which is an experience in itself, over the past few years they have hosted shows such as ‘Kiss me Kate’ ‘Joseph’ and most recently ‘CATS’ . They also host many events and lunches and the afternoon tea is well worth sampling. Lutterworth and Kilworth Springs are both local golf courses and from my own experiences are a joy to play on. The restaurants at both are well respected and worth a visit. The Foxton Locks are located approx 8 miles away and the annual Crick Boat Show takes place nearby and is popular among travellers from all around. Swinford is a lovely village and all locals are friendly and welcoming .

  • Susan was a great host the property was fantastic

    Sion2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sue's place is very well placed for access to the M6 and was ideal to break my journey from the east coast to the west side of England. Sue is very helpful and her house was exactly what I wanted for a one night stay at a very good price - clean, warm and comfortable. Found a little difficulty in finding the house, primarily because there were cars parked in front of the road sign and Google Maps caused me to look on the wrong side of the road but Sue and her house mate came to flag me down outside and suggested where I parked so no problem at all!

    Gill2020-01-08T00:00:00Z

Larger than average for a single, this cute, warm clean room faces south over a little orchard and sunny deck. This peaceful room is ideal for a comfortable stay close to Rugby but with all the charm of a rural village. Ideal for Wolf Runners as we’re less than a mile from Stanford Hall as well as all the other events held at Stanford. Our home is located in a private cul de sac, with easy access to Rugby, Magna Park and Lutterworth. Our local provides lovely meals and a warm welcome too.
The property backs onto fields so you are welcome to bring boots and do some hiking. The village pub is very welcoming and as well as doing a range of home cooked meals, Brian will box you up a pizza, (or any other food you buy) sell you a coffee, or a hot choc: have sport on the TV and give advice, loan you a book and make you welcome.
My home is in a rural village close to the A5/M1/M6. It is famous for being the home of the first flight by Percy Pilcher who flew himself from Stanford Hall on a wing, not unlike a hangglider. I am afraid he didn't get very far as the monument close to the Hall shows. There is a replica of Percy's Flying Machine at the museum at Stanford Hall ( a very small museum!). The pub here is The Chequers and offers a good social hub - but apart from that you are only 4 miles maximum from Rugby and Lutterworth (where the jet engine was invented). The gorgeous Kilworth House Hotel with it's famous open air theatre is 5 miles away, and perfect for afternoon tea in a truly elegant venue. Kilworth Springs and Lutterworth both have golf courses, and there is the famous Foxton Locks about 8 miles from the village. Rugby and Lutterworth have a range of stores and shops and Rugby has the internationally acclaimed Rugby Hall of Fame based in the town. Wolf Runners, Rugby fans, VW owners and Mini lovers come to the village regularly for events at Stanford Hall.
  • I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because Deb deserves it. A wonderful host and a great location. Thanks Deb, I will definitely stay if I’m in the area again 😁

Being in a village location, my home is close to great walks, views, the canal, and of course The White Lion, our 'local.' It's good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers too. There are plenty of shops in Lutterworth, and high street stores in nearby Rugby. Leicester is about 30 mins down the road.
We are 5 mins by car away from Kilworth House Hotel and it's amazing outdoor theatre. The White Lion is our nearest pub which serves real ales and food, and there are many more great places to eat and drink locally. Kilworth Springs Golf Course is only 5 mins up the road. Swimming pool and leisure centre is in nearby Lutterworth.
  • Excellent BnB! We took two rooms as we were staying for a wedding nearby. V quick responses, clean tidy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and thank you !!

    Guy2019-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • David has a lovely, modern house in a quiet village with room to park your car on the driveway. We exchanged a number of messages beforehand so that I knew exactly where to find him, and on arrival I was welcomed by the family and offers of drinks to help settle in (sadly I couldn't as I only had a short time to reach the wedding I was attending). My room contained a double bed, wardrobe and TV and the spacious bathroom was just across the hall. One of my pet peeves in hotels is how hard it is to plug in an alarm near to the bed (fussy I know), but there was no such problem here. The room was bright and airy and better than I could have hoped for. I returned late without any difficulty and had a good night's sleep before taking a shower. Then I spent half an hour drinking coffee and chatting with David seated on the lawn, before leaving for home. All in all a perfect stay, and with mini eggs thrown in (though I can't promise that everyone will get them!)

This 19th century village property is welcoming and full of character. The ground floor offers a single bedroom and twin/double room, both rooms have a sharing toilet and shower room, separate to the rest of the property. It offers its own sofa-lounge area with tv to share between these 2 rooms. The 3rd room is family size room located on the 3rd floor and equipped with a luxury kingsize bed and the option of 2 extra single beds to accommodate families where needed, with TV and shared bathroom.
This property is at the heart of the Village and within a stones throw to the local public house. There are plenty of fields and bridal paths for hikes and adventures that you can enjoy. The property has plenty of street parking for guests to use. I also offer a fully functional kitchen and facilities that all guests are welcome to use as they please.
Susan’s place is located in Swinford, England, United Kingdom.
  • Fantastic place and really quite. Has everything youd want *****

    Sonny2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The house was easy to find. It is in a nice quiet location with only a 4 mile drive to either the Rugby retail outlet or major supermarkets. Susan gave a very warm welcome and made sure I felt at home on arrival.

  • Susan is a friendly and helpful host. We loved our stay in Swinford. The accommodation was spacious for 3 adults and met all our needs.

  • Sue is an amazing host, she made us feel like that we were part of the family! The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The space that accompanies the room, is excellent and the layout is brilliant. It's also really close to Stanford Hall, ideal if you're going to an event like I was. Highly recommend!

    Billy2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Secluded rural setting. Great views from the lounge of amazing sunrises. Neat space, newly or recently decorated, with all amenities. Beds extremely comfortable. Finding the place in the dark is an interesting challenge. Potholed roads to the building were quite flooded during our stay, but the unit was still accessible. No doors on the bathrooms, but there are curtains. Overall, recommended.

  • Sarah's barn is in a fabulous location, very much off the beaten track. The barn is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. She has provided a wealth of information on the area. The scones, cream and jam were a lovely touch and very welcome!. She had provided toys, cot, bedding and toiletries for our grandson which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend the barn to everyone and would definitely return. Thank you Sarah

    Mick2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • This barn has absolutely everything needed for a getaway. The owners have thought of every single detail ever needed and had a huge range of supplies from washing up liquid to dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, cutlery, games... the list could go on forever! Any time I had a question I was able to message Sarah and she always responded to me extremely quickly and nothing was too much trouble for her. We were welcomed with scones and jam waiting for us and clotted cream and milk in the fridge! Would recommend this barn to everyone! Thank you so, so much again

  • We stayed here for about a month, and really enjoyed it! Shawell is a nice little village, and it was a perfect location for us as our friends live there (and now a lot of new friends also!). It's also easy enough to drive into Lutterworth, Rugby, or Market Harborough for shopping and restaurants. But also great being able to walk to the White Swan for a pint or a nice dinner. We liked the place itself as well. The under-floor heat upstairs made the lounge nice and cozy in the cold January weather. We appreciated having breakfast food to get us started when we arrived, and we were glad to have the cookware and dishes we needed to be able to make our own meals most of the time. The internet was good enough for my remote work, though not quite good enough for video conference calls (but it IS a small village, so not unexpected).

    Sandy2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed for 3 months while on a work trip in UK. The location was great for me as it was central and easy to get to the M1/M6 and everywhere I needed to go for work. Accommodation was perfect. I had loads of space to spread out and had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend!

  • Susan’s place is amazing, so much attention to detail & to top it off a super attentive host !

  • Susan is a wonderful host. All communication is so thorough, you won't have any questions left unanswered. Always on hand for anything and messages you back straight away. Perfect host! Ton welcomed us into The Loft and showed us around, such a friendly and warm gentleman - giving our stay the perfect start. The Loft - is just so stunning! The pictures are gorgeous but in reality it is so much better. The views are gorgeous! The apartment itself is impressively carbon neutral and has everything you need any more. It's super clean, spacious, warm and the technology is amazing. We really appreciated the little touches that shows how much thought has gone into providing a great experience. We had chocolates beside each bed, bread milk jams cereals for breakfast, wellies in various sizes for walks around the estate, Amazon music, Netflix, Nespresso machine + pods & milk frother, Rituals toiletries, popcorn machine. Thanks to Susan we were equipped with everything we needed to have an absolutely wonderful few days away. I can't wait to come back and even visit some of her other homes! Returning home today so so so happy - thank you!!

  • Susan's place in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside was perfect for our family Christmas get-away. The location is idyllic and the property was amazing in every way. Susan is a fantastically considerate host and went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you Susan. Simply 5 stars. We hope to stay with you again soon.

  • Anyone lucky enough to stay here will not be disappointed. This property is exceptional. It is beautifully furnished, situated in wonderful countryside and has everything you need in it and more. The host Susan, is super helpful, friendly and responded to questions very quickly. I cannot recommend a stay at this property enough.

    Jess2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is second to none. If you are coming with children then this is the place for you. Having two children under the age of 2, you would think staying anywhere else would be a nightmare. Not here at The Loft. Susan ensured that everything was baby proof which meant our toddler could run around without any issues. The little touches such as sweets, a loaded tea/coffee station, popcorn at the ready and more really made this place feel above and beyond what you think an Airbnb would be. Stunning location in the countryside, secluded but not far away from civilisation once you hop in the car. The place was spotless and everything truly exceeded our expectations.

    Harraj Singh2019-12-19T00:00:00Z

Our comfortable and peaceful double room has a full private en-suite bathroom and is in the quiet single storey extension on the back of our dormer bungalow. It has a king size bed, an off-street parking space and a separate entrance. Guests can come and go as they please, and are welcome to share the sunny deck with our family. It's right in the middle of our village, two minutes' walk from our Co-op and friendly pubs, and just a couple of minutes' drive from the M1, M6 and A5.
Guests have their own entrance, bathroom and parking space. Room facilities include a 32" TV, wi-fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, plates and cutlery, a small electric cool box and toaster. We put a pint of milk in the cool box on your arrival. You are welcome to buy light meals and snacks from our local Co-op (just a minute's walk away) and eat or store them in the room. We provide big bath towels (changed on request), shower gel & shampoo. If you would like fresh towels each day, please ask. If you're staying long-term, let me know how often you'd like your bedding changed and the room cleaned.
I am happy to discuss discounted rates with guests who are working in the area and looking for a long-term regular booking for three or more days a week. Our village is surrounded by wonderful country walks - our newly planted Jubilee Wood, the Jurassic Way and the towpath of the peaceful Leicester branch of the Grand Union canal, for instance. Stratford-on-Avon and historic Warwick Castle are just 35 minutes' drive away. A 40-minute train trip into the busy city of Birmingham for some fabulous shopping is easy from nearby Rugby station - if we can, we'll be happy to give you a lift. The area has lots of lovely country pubs serving good food. This is a very quiet village and our house stands right in the heart of it.

  • Amazing place. Full of charm and character. Alison was just the most wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay!

    Joseph2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Alison was the best host we ever had. We stayed with her for a week and it felt at home. The room and the house were very nice and done to a very high standard. She made sure all the amenities are provided and welcomed us to use anything that we need. She is also an awesome person that you is kind and helpful. If you you looking for a country side getaway or simply a place to stay you won't find better. Also the the price can't be beaten. In few words best quality to price ratio.

    Ivan2018-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Alison was on hand to answer any queries and provided an excellent, clean and cosy room with lots of room for my girlfriend’s stuff as we got ready for the wedding. The shower and bathroom is excellent and Bob the dog is as friendly as they come. Alison offered excellent suggestions and the house is beautiful, tucked in a lovely, quaint East Midlands village. We had a lovely light breakfast and super coffee to get us going the next day. Trying to find an excuse to come back in the future! Well worth it and would pay loads more for the quality of room in a hotel!

    James2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • This experience was above and beyond what I would have expected from an airbnb from start to finish. With excellent communication prior, the location is a very quiet and picturesque village. The house is large, modern and comfortable with comfortable bed, clean and well decorated linen, sky tv, wireless internet- the faculties were flawless - then we have the hospitality which was akin to a 5* hotel. The host greeted me at the door, helped with the cases, and even purchased an animation movie for my daughter on sky. The host offered complementary food and drink, and offered a cooked breakfast for an additional £5 per head which was well above expectations. In all this was a flawless experience, and I would. If hesitate to revisit this peaceful home again.

Are you looking for a cosy and warm glamping experience ? Come and spend some time in our beautiful rustic Shepherd hut. Always a Horse or two ready to greet you in the morning, our 3 lovely Alpaca boys or be delighted to meet Piggy Pop and Piggy Stardust who love bananas ! Don't be put off by the weather when you can be wrapped in a blanket of warmth making S'mores on the log fire and reading a bug and getting away from city living. hard. Instagram @crisplodge
This little pad is filled with all the creature comforts (including electricity and running water) , Memory foam mattress and beautiful arty furniture fills the space. The Hut sits in it's own little paddock on the edge of the Orchard which overlooks fields of Horses, Alpacas and the wonderful Penelope pig, of course not forgetting our very friendly chickens that venture to see what is going on. The owners are a very friendly husband and wife with extensive knowledge of the area and thus able to recommend places to visit, things to do and restaurants to eat at. They are both keen horse riders and polo players and can arrange to take you for a ride on one of their horses upon request (and a small fee) . There is a supermarket a mile away that is open until late, the impeccable Grey Goose is also in the same village and offers an array of exquisite British food in a delightful setting, with rave reviews on TripAdvisor. There are also plenty of English pubs to explore. The house is gated and extremely safe and is one in a hamlet of four others. We are on the doorstep of the beautiful market town of Lutterworth, famous for the building of the jet engine and John Wycliffe who is renouned for translating the Bible from Latin to English in the 14th century. Nearby you can visit the beautiful Stanford Hall stately home and take in its exquisite grounds and visiting car clubs. Of course, you are only a short drive from Leicester City with plenty to see and do, from the Richard III Visitor Centre to the Space Centre, Highcross Shopping Centre and the Cathedral. You can enjoy all the City has to offer from the seclusion of rural England. Your dog / pet is allowed to holiday with you but comes along as an extra guest at £10 per night.
The house is in Gilmorton, which is a village three miles from Lutterworth Town. It is very easily accessible, the farm is easy to find but in case guests have trouble upon arriving, they are welcome to ring one of the home owners and we will be more than happy to guide them.
  • A lovely place for a quiet get away. This place is ideally suited to nicer weather however we went early March and having the wood stove made the Shepherd hut toasty and very cosy. There had been a lot of rain so needed our wellies as the ground was VERY boggy! We would love to go back in the summer and enjoy the outdoor area and the animals more. Only minor negatives and its not my intention to put people off with the next comments but merely to make people aware. The toilet looks like a normal toilet in the way that it has a seat, however below is actually a bucket with a carrier bag. (There is sawdust available to cover over your deeds.) There is no hot running water in the hut, and the showers are in the main house. We didn't use the shower so unable to comment but Lynden mentioned they were nice and powerful. This is place is perfect break for a more outdoorsy type and those that enjoy glamping.

  • Could not recommend this place enough. The photos do not do this place justice. Very comfortable hut, which even in cold February was warm and cosy! Great hosts who couldn’t do enough for you! Highly recommend!

  • Absolute gem of a place! One night wasn't enough... We'll be back for a few days soon!

    Mark2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the place. Was great for some Dad and lad time, my 11 year old loved the animals and feeding them with Andy, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We spent just one night but were allowed to arrive early, which was nice to have been offered. We spent our time sat in and playing cards and games, which is something we never do, so it made a nice change. It's really cosy inside with the log burner going and we couldn't use the fire pit due to the weather (hardly surprising as we did stay in February),so we heated food up on top of the log burner which worked a treat. The bed is comfy and there was lots of really nice extra touches. Tea, coffee, marshmallows, ketchup...the list goes on. A great place to stay and detach from reality. Would love to come back in the Spring or Summer too.

  • A lovely, quirky stay with all you could need for a night away! Fantastic communication, location and animals! 😍

    Michelle2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Despite Storm Dennis hitting hard, we had an amazing time at the Shepherd Hut! The attention to detail was perfect, it was so cosy and warm and we will definitely return (in less windy weather..) A lovely relaxing break!

    James2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

Greylag is a luxury heated lakeside cabin, designed and built on our farm. Curl up under a cosy throw on the super comfortable double bed (400 thread count sheets), or choose from seating areas inside, on the deck overlooking the lake, or by the fire pit with its inbuilt barbecue. Browse the internet using our fast broadband. Your own luxury shower room and toilet is a short walk away. As well as Greylag we have another cabin, Mallard (also on Airbnb).
Isolation in beautiful countryside in the heart of England. We have stripped our cabins down to the essentials, so you can relax and savour the beauty of the natural surroundings. We won't interrupt. The nearest railway station is Market Harborough, less than an hour from London St Pancras and four miles from the farm. Taxi fare from the station is under £10. Our farm lies in an historic area, near to the site of the Battle of Naseby. There is lots to see within a short drive, and the Jurassic Way footpath cuts through the farm. Greylag is an ecological cabin, fully insulated, with heat and hot water solar powered (with electrical back up). Tea and coffee and cool box are provided but you'll need to bring all your own food, or drive to nearby pubs and restaurants to eat. The multi award winning farm shop cafe 'Farndon Fields' (farm shop restaurant of the year 2016) is a short drive away. Drinking water is available from a tap by the front door. You can BBQ on your own fire pit (the only cooking facility). Logs from our own woodland can be purchased on site.
The Welland Valley is great for outdoor activities, e.g. walking, cycling, gliding, fishing and bird watching. The unspoilt countryside is rich in historic sites, country houses, local food & drink producers and picturesque towns.
  • What a fantastic find. Myself and my husband stayed here over new year, it’s absolutely brilliant. Chris was incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The location is brilliant, very nice surroundings, plenty of places to go walking. The location around the cabin is beautiful as well. Toilets are in a separate unit which is a 30 second walk away. Really nicely done out. The shower is amazing. I can’t recommend highly enough. We will absolutely be back!

  • Perfect for a relaxing weekend away, such a peaceful location. Chris was great, he was ready to meet us and show us around when we arrived, had the barbecue all set up for us and gave us some tips about local shops and restaurants. He left us to it but was very quick to respond to any questions we had, definitely will be going back!

    Alex2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was absolutely amazing! Beautiful views, calming surroundings, and a comfortable space to enjoy it all. Thank you to Chris, Charlotte, and Patrick for making our stay so incredible.

    Teresa2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Just back from a 2 night stay in Greylag. Everything was perfect and well thought out. From the decor in the cabin to the warm inviting private bathroom. Both Chris and his family made our stay relaxing and were very accommodating with any needs we had. The area around the cabins is stunning and we took a couple of walks to explore. The fire pit/BBQ were perfect for lazy evenings by the lake and our afternoons were spent on the veranda watching the fish and ducks play in the lake. All in all the perfect weekend getaway. We would definitely return again in a heart beat.

    Chris2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a fantastic get away at this unique and peaceful cabin. Everything rated 5 star. Chris was a fantastic host, helpful yet private. We can not wait to get back to the cabin for another restful get-away.

    Annelien2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible little getaway! Such a cosy, calming and relaxing cabin over the water. Could sit there for hours watching the birds and carps in the water. Great city escape. The fire pit was a dream and we had wonderful BBQ’s on it with food from Farndon Fields farm shop, which is also a lovely place to grab lunch. The place is totally spotless and the bathroom is modern, only 30 sec walk - it’s so private is doesn’t matter at all. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Chris did everything to accommodate us and is a great guy. We’ll be back soon!

  • Suzanne, was a brilliant host, I booked approx 3 days before the stay and throughout the whole booking she stayed in contact, made me aware when she wasn’t going to be home in terms of checking in, even though I was hugely behind schedule and didn’t check in till 22:30, Suzanna was very understand. The room offered was immaculate, not a single object was out of place, I couldn’t ask for any changes to be made. Parking and directions were spot on One of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had

This is one of our massive double rooms, the one with a huge en-suite with loo, wash basin, shower and massive roll top bath, in a large country farm house. It's old school and charming, but with all the mod cons. Lovely big garden and BBQ area. In a charming village next to country pub, and only 9 miles from town with trains to London, and only 4 miles from M1 J20. The room would suit 1, 2, or 3 people (couple with child, perhaps, as there is a large double bed and a regular sized single.)
As well as the massive bedrooms, you will be free to use the big country kitchen. Help yourself to the microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, etc. The fridge is stocked with juice, yoghurts, fresh bread etc, for you to help yourself, as well as tea and coffee of course.
Very peaceful village with brilliant friendly (quiet!) pub next door, doing great pub food.

    John2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jamie was a fabulous host who put out breakfast every morning. We had full use of the kitchen when we wanted it so was able to cook every night we even did a Sunday roast and kept the chicken in the fridge. Great internet signals everywhere in the house and there was plenty to watch on sky in the shared space living room. Would recommend any family or friends to stay there!!

    Samantha2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jamie is a great host. The house was spotless, there was ample parking and we had 24 hour access to the kitchen so we could get a hot drink whenever we wanted. The flexible checkout made our departure very chilled as we didn’t have to set early alarms and rush to get out. Thank you!

This is a clean and spacious room with an ensuite and a mezannine level containing the TV and sofabed. We are situated about 5 minutes from J20 of the M1 and about 10 minutes from Fosse Park and J21 of the M1. We have two friendly westie dogs who come to work with me.
You will have your own double bedroom with an en-suite. The bedroom has a european double sized bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, draws, sofa/sofabed and a TV. The ensuite has a shower, sink with mirror above and toilet which is all solely for the use of the guest in this bedroom.
We are situated on our own plot with only one quiet neighbour. We have plenty of off street parking so let us know if you have a larger vehicle to park and we can accommodate this. If you want to go out to eat our favourite is the Miller and Carter about 10 minutes away, there are other restaurants in Lutterworth and the local villages. If your looking for a longer stay and want to cook your own lunch/dinner then we have Aldi, Morrisons and a Co-Op about 5 minutes drive away and theres Tesco, Lidl, Asda and Sainsburys about 10 minute drive away so lots of choice.
  • Warm welcome on arrival. The room was spacious, comfy and the split level of the room was great too.

  • This is one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever stayed in, and definitely one of the best Air BnBs I've ever visited. The property is spacious, well laid out, and absolutely gorgeous. It was spotless, with amenities that worked perfectly - nothing janky or that required macgyvering. We really appreciated that the property is eco friendly. It feels amazing to be out in nature and know that your presence is kind to the planet. And the surroundings are wonderful - the horizon goes on forever. Amazing to stand on the porch and look out over the fields. Utterly isolated apart from the neighbouring cabin. Highlights: hot tub was easy to use and very much enjoyed. Big shower that was very pleasurable to use, and cute toiletries in dispensers. Huge sofa big enough for us all to relax on, with throws and blankets for being cosy. Attention to detail was impeccable. Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with a comprehensive array of utensils, saucepans, mixing bowl, roasting dishes, etc. Wine and homemade shortbread in the kitchen for us to enjoy. Overall a blissful experience. I sincerely hope to return.

One of four massive double rooms in a large country farm house. It's old school and charming, but with all the mod cons. Unfortunately, this room doesn't have the en-suite - you would be sharing the large family bathroom, with roll-top bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. Lovely big garden and BBQ area. This room would suit 1, 2, or 3 people (couple with child, perhaps, as it has a large double bed and a regular sized single). You're free to use the massive country kitchen, scullery etc.
This massive old country house is in a charming village next to country pub, and only 9 miles from Market Harborough with trains to London, (1 hour), and only 4 miles from M1 J20.
South Kilworth is a tiny village, and the pub is right next door, serving really good pub grub, and great local beers. Stanford Hall is less than 2 miles away.
  • A lovely period property with large, spacious and comfy rooms, good facilities and the convenience of a nice Pub near by. Prior to arrival, excellent communications from our host Tim and a great breakfast provided by Kate. It was only the third time she had made an English breakfast. She is clearly a fast learner because it couldn't be faulted.

    David2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
