  • We loved the comfort and the beauty of this perfect refuge. The view of the mountains and the grounds were amazing. Kathy provided wonderful goodies and both she and Bill were warm and welcoming. We very much hope to return.

  • Can't recommend highly enough. The term superhost doesn't even cover how amazing Kathy and Bill are. A home from home, gorgeous place, everything you possibly need. Just devine. Nothing more to say apart from book it! You won't be dissapointed.

  • A beautiful hideaway in the heart of Anglesey. Warm, cosy and very clean. Kathy is a great host with lots of local recommendations to help make the most of your trip. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Anglesey.

  • This place is must! My husband, 10 month old son and I had the best two nights away! Stunning views and the cottage is spotless and beautifully done. Gorgeous beaches a short drive away! Kathy and Bill are fabulous! The nicest hosts! We will definitely be back!

    Kate2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to escape. Thoroughly enjoyed the secluded location, although it’s close enough to a great fish and chip shop! The hosts were excellent with little touches such as cakes, milk etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend to relax and unwind.

    Jonathan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was perfect. We felt at home as soon as we arrived to Kathy's warm welcome. Kathy had made us some home made bread and provided fresh eggs and some Welsh and Scottish sweet treats too. The cottage itself had absolutely everything we needed, it was cosy and warm and we really enjoyed making use of the log burner in the evening. Kathy gave us loads of really helpful tips on where we should visit on Anglesey. We visited Newbrough beach which was stunning and we ate at Dylan's on the Menai Strait - the food was delightful. My favourite part was waking up in the morning to the stunning view of Snowdonia and listening to the birdsong :) We have already recommended Kathy's place to our family and friends and we hope to visit again in the near future.

  • We wanted a quiet night away on New Years Eve and found this lovely cottage, literally in the middle of Anglesey and away from it all. Great communication from Linda in advance of arrival, a warm welcome and explanation of the facilities - and also a warm welcome for our little dog. Thoughtful touches such as milk in the fridge, some tea, coffee and sugar were most appreciated. Lovely log burner and great central heating made it all cosy and warm. Good solid internet too and a nice job tv. Perfect!

    Gareth2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy house which was perfect for the ferry. Linda couldn't do enough for us. We didn't get to see it in the day as we were catching an early morning ferry. Smart TVa blessing and the home is very cosy.

    Lindsey2019-12-31T00:00:00Z

  • Gorgeous little cozy cottage in the Anglesey countryside with great energy, very good value and super friendly hosts that communicated perfectly with us. We had the fire going in the evening as it was cold outside but the heating is also really good. Linda gave us a very warm welcome and then respected our privacy. Would highly recommend, thanks guys!

    Mike2019-11-24T00:00:00Z

  • We found Declan’s bungalow easy to find, thanks to good directions, and easy to access via key lock. He kept in regular contact with us and invited us to message if we had any questions/concerns, which we didn’t, as everything was easy to understand and follow. We were hugely impressed by the cleanliness, spaciousness and modern touches to the bungalow. There was a nautical theme, very well done. Great that there is a fridge and separate freezer, microwave, kettle and oven. There were jams, butter, bread, crisps and cereal left for us, which we used! My husband said thank you for the Welsh butter! There were also a number of towels left for our use and toiletries. The area was very quiet and convenient for towns such as Beaumaris, and local tourist attractions nearby. Our favourite place in Anglesey is Moelfre and it was only about 20 minutes by car. Good on road parking right outside the bungalow. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Sarah2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • very cosy and clean, very happy with our stay here! Definitely recommend to anyone, very comfy beds, left us bread, milk and cereals, tea and coffee left there too, amazing

  • Absolutely incredible! We never met Ben, but we did meet his mum who gave us detailed tips and tricks and things to do whilst on Anglesey. Couldn't have felt more welcomed onto their beautiful land. The container itself was spotless and decorated perfectly. There were more than just the basics provided, which you often don't get in AirBnBs! We loved tending to the fire each night and having a wonderfully wholesome time. We will definitely be back!

  • Had a lovely time at the house. Used Waze to get directions which took us straight there. There was lots of space in the house and twin room was big. A couple of things needed fixing but these were in hand. The garden was big and a great place to explore. Gwain and Eddie who hosted were really friendly and made check-in and out a pleasure. Thanks both. It was a great location for everything we did including Snowdon, Welsh zoo and beaches. Catharine was not in residence Whilst we were there. Will be back again.

  • A lovely traditional house, the kids loved running and climbing round the garden. Has everything we needed in the kitchen & bathrooms. No-one missed the TV, we didn't really use the wifi - it was just nice to eat outside, read books and go for walks. The information folder in the front room is comprehensive and the box containing "things to do and places to go" was brimming with ideas ... if only we had got up earlier we could have fitted more in :) . Would definitely stay again. Catherine was really helpful and responded really quickly to our questions. Thank you.

  • What a wonderful cottage! It was lovely to arrive to a very warm welcome, especially after a 6 hour drive, of a delightful cake and tea/coffee/ milk. The cottage is well equipped for a two week stay. The kitchen has everything you could wish for and more. The beds were extremely comfy and the bedding very cosy. There is a lovely log burner which is fab when you’ve had a day walking and got a bit damp. The outside area is great for when the sun is shining. We had lots of adventures walking the local area and within Snowdonia National Park. Would recommend walking through the forest opposite the house to the beach (1 1/2 hour to the beach) where we had a lovely meal at The Boathouse and The Ship Inn. Also would recommend; Dylan’s in Menai Bridge, the ice cream parlour at Beaumaris, trip on the Puffin Island Cruise, Aber Falls and Conwy.

In a secluded, rural setting, in the heart of the beautiful island of Anglesey, this charming, detached, traditional Welsh cottage boasts a large well-kept garden encompassing far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. The garden is landscaped into the setting with different levels and steps taking you down to a pretty unfenced wildlife pond. Approached down a drive shared with only the owners, Hendre Wen provides a superb holiday base for exploring the surrounding area.
Gina, Ian and Sam (the cottage owners) live next door in the adjacent field, so can be close to hand if necessary.
The small village of Llangaffo, 1½ miles away, has a village shop and post office, whilst Newborough, 4½ miles, has a pub and the renowned Marram Grass Café, which has featured in the Good Food Guide. There is also superb walking in the 2000-acre Newborough Forest, which leads out onto a glorious sandy beach. The delightful market town of Llangefni, 8 miles away, has a wide range of shops, and within easy reach are many visitor attractions including the impressive National Trust property Plas Newydd, the Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park.
  • A beautiful house set in lovely grounds. Lots of thoughtful touches to make the space homely. Great base to explore Anglesey from. Will definitely be returning.

  • Gina’s place is in a beautiful setting perfect for a relaxing trip in the country but is also well situated as an excellent base for exploring Wales. We climbed Snowdon and then sat out a storm at the house where there was plenty of games/jigsaws/dvds to keep us entertained. It was all we needed and more for a great weekend away.

  • Fab place, pictures dont do it justice. Beautiful view. Comfy bedrooms. Clean. Loved the extras such as games found, books etc. Lovely decor. Loved the log fires (take wood if you can). The place had everything you needed. Gina and family were very good to us but not intrusive either. Spacious place. Lots of space to park. Thank you :)

  • This cottage is fantastic!!Beautiful surroundings and amazing hospitality. Gina had put the heating on for us so it was so warm and cosy when we got there. We also had some tea, coffee and fresh scones left for us. A really nice touch!! The cottage is sparklingly clean, beds are very comfy and the living room is cosy and just a lovely space to be in. Can’t wait to stay again.

  • Comfortable, stylish house set in gorgeous gardens. Easily accommodates 6 people, plenty of space in the lounges and kitchen. Gina is a great host, there if you need her but careful to keep your stay private. Well located for local attractions such as Newborough beach and Menai Bridge. Really enjoyed our time here.

    Kirstie2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely short stay at Gina's accommodation. We arrived to freshly baked scones and coffee which were amazing. Gina ensured our stay was perfect, even going out of her way to lend us passes for the beach. The house was beautiful and clean and perfect for our small children. Thanks so much Gina.

  • 100% Satisfaction from us,i will totally recommend Susans caravan to anyone..we will definitely stay again...

    Mike2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We went in November and the weather was horrendous so the caravan got cold without the heating on, but Sue had provided plenty of blankets so all was well just worth noting if you go off season! The cooking facilities are great, plenty of crockery and utensils and the gas oven and electric fridge work well and are a good size. Great value property in a great location, especially for the race circuit where we attended the annual Race of Remembrance.

A quiet peaceful location that is ideal for touring the beautiful Isle of Anglesey and nearby Snowdonia, beaches, footpaths and castles. Also on offer locally are golf courses , plenty of sightseeing and some of the greatest restaurants around.
An 8 berth, 3 bedroom caravan sited in its own grounds situated in the garden of a farm, with its own garden and patio. One double and two twin bedrooms, lounge, dining area, kitchen, separate shower and toilet.
Anglesey is not just a relaxing and beautiful island with lots of beaches and wide open spaces. Anglesey is a wonderful place to visit and just chill out in the quiet stillness of its surroundings and is full of unusual and interesting things to see.
  • Lovely owners very helpful, lots of things inside like cups pots etc

    Dawid2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Welcoming hosts, spotless roomy caravan in a beautiful location. We would come again.

    Ruth2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • It was a nice caravan, very clean and we had a peaceful stay. The hosts were welcoming, helpful and left us to our own devices. We probably had more interaction with their friendly dogs who welcomed us back to the caravan each time we returned! The caravan was well equipped with a tv, radio, fridge, microwave, as well as plates, cutlery, pots & pans. The only things we needed to bring were bedding (1 double & 4 single beds) and towels. Situated about 20 minutes from Beaumaris and half an hour from Holyhead by car it is well positioned to commute to pretty much anywhere on Anglesey, that said there aren’t any shops or pubs within walking distance.

  • Susan’s accommodation was bright, clean and modern. Ideal location to explore Anglesey. Very friendly host. Would definitely recommend.

  • Lovely place, very clean and cosy Susan was lovely and a great host.

    Chris2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is clean, modern and all fixtures and fittings were new. It is just the right size for a couple, there are a couple of chairs directly outside the property to sit out on. We had a relaxing time and the place is conveniently located by car to the beaches. The only minor issue was that the location info on the booking description is limited, we did contact the owner in advance with ETA and to get instructions but there was no reply, so we drove past the place a few times and had to call the owner to understand exactly where we needed to go. There were no access details before or once we got there and the owners had gone away for a few days so we had to call again to find out where we were staying. Once we located the property and the keys we had a good time and would recommend.

    Diana2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great location just a short distance from Llangefni town. We were visiting family around the island so it was a great base not too far from anywhere we needed to be. The accommodation itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend

My home is in a rural location ,a stone's throw away from Anglesey's most iconic beach,Llanddwyn ,on the island's beautiful West coast. This area is steeped in history and mythology, the home of Welsh Princes and legends. Magic stones and druids ,is this playground. On a Summer's night imagine yourself surrounded by millions of stars as you sit in my wild flower garden, the scent of wild honeysuckle mingling with the sea breeze, the bats dancing happy in the balmy Summer air.
The property is ideally situated for exploring beautifull beaches and secret coves. Close to the Anglesey coastal path. Easy access to Snowdonia it's rugged landscape and famous castles, Caernarfon approx 25 mins away and Conwy a 40 minute drive. The historic beautiful town of Beaumaris is close by . If it'surfing paradise you're after Rhosneigr is a 10minute drive. Also on my doorstep is the World famous Trac Mon which attracts speed enthusiasts both from motorcycling and motor sports. The property offers a double room, a shared kitchen and bathroom a large living room with Sky TV, super fast broadband. Kitchen equipment , you can use the microwave, toaster, kettle and the fridge is always well stocked for a continental breakfast if you so wish.
The surrounding area although rural does offer high class restaurants if that's what your after , the nearest being a 5 minute drive, the nationally acclaimed Maram Grass has been awarded many prestigious awards. Nearby Rhosneigr also boasts many fine dining experiences. A favourite of mine however is the small village pub in Aberffraw, The Crown which offers good quality food at a reasonable price and a chance to mingle with the locals!
  • Peace and beauty surround you. Anna is a genuine and welcoming host. The place is warm, clean and comfortable. Anna's healthy breakfasts are top quality. I can't speak too highly of our stay at Anna's home.

  • My young daughter and I were welcomed into Anna’s house, like members of the family for the weekend, and invited to relax in the lounge and warm ourselves by the fire on the stormy evenings. Yet the privacy of our room and our comings and goings was also respected. There were lovely touches in our room like tea, coffee, fruit and homemade cake. The room itself was airy and very comfortable, with subtle individual design touches that made it feel more than a neutral hotel room but not like a busy room in someone else’s house either. It was perfect. And the bed was large and sumptuous and a pleasure to climb into. She had a quiet confidence and knowledge of the area and was happy to help with tips for places to eat and visit when we asked. The ‘Anna Jam’ at breakfast was a special homemade treat. A wonderful host.

    Leah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place could not have exceeded expectations more than it did… We were met at the door by the owner’s daughter who, despite it having been late, was very welcoming. She gave us a quick tour of the GORGEOUS house, let us know the kitchen was there for us to use, and took us upstairs to show us the room. The shared bathroom was large, heated nicely and clean. The room itself was wonderfully toasty on a very chilly wet night – large, and a lovely plate of fruit and biscuits was waiting for us on the desk. The bed is comfy and the décor lovely and inviting. The next day we were up and out, but came back for a nap before the race event. The owner of the home had since come home and was SO lovely! She offered tea or coffee and had made flapjacks to take with us for the race – how incredible is that??? We came back exhausted after 24 hours of long, arduous racing in very rough weather, and the house was the perfect one to come back to – comfortable, warm and she had left homemade soup and frittata there for us to partake in if wanted! All in all this was a perfect space to relax in – and difficult to leave!

  • From our arrival on Friday evening to leaving on Sunday morning, we had the most amazing visit to Honey Bee Cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean, well organised, warm and calm and it instantly felt like home. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need and the basket of bread, eggs and bara brith was absolutely delicious. Mike and Gudrun are such welcoming hosts who go the extra mile. It was great feeding the pigs and meeting the lovely dogs Jet and Ted. Mike’s advice and knowledge of the area and where to visit is superb. Thank you for a gorgeous weekend, we will definitely be back!

  • Gudrun and Mike's cottage is a lovely, spotlessly clean, well equipped place to stay and in a peaceful and pretty location. Ideally positioned to travel all around beautiful Angelsey. We thought it was excellent value for money and hope to return.

Steve & Val are happy to offer one room with private entrance and en-suite bathroom at their bright, modernised cottage. Set in a quiet, rural location on the Isle of Anglesey this is an excellent base for exploring the island and Snowdonia, just 35 mins from Llandudno. Plenty of parking space. Gardens that include a pond, stream and small waterfall set in woodland with visiting wildlife. Outside Jacuzzi hot tub is available for an extra cost and by prior arrangement to allow refill and set up.
This is a private room within our home, which you are welcome to enjoy, although we ask you to respect our space and privacy. The room is locked from our cottage side and has private access via patios doors which open to the Jacuzzi Hot Tub and garden. Within the cost we provide breakfast cereals, yogurt & fruit and croissants or pastries. The room has tea and coffee making facilities. Sorry no pets and strictly no smoking.
We are close to Llangefni and the well known Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and within easy reach of Menai Bridge, Bangor and Caernarfon. 15 minutes drive to Beaumaris and Newborough Nature reserve with its large sandy beach.
  • Incredible location, amazing hosts and a hot tub to die for. Really enjoyed our weekend trip to Steve & Val's despite storm Dennis. Great communication throughout the booking process, lovely people and so happy to have chosen this place. The little touches made the stay perfect, the fruit, the bottled water, the tea and coffee. Great value for money, wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you so much for a great stay!

  • Perfect hosts. Accommodation spotless, very comfortable and peaceful. Was provided cereals, milk and even Welsh cakes. And to end each day being able to relax in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

  • Beautiful room and lovely people. The hosts could not be more helpful. Loved it and very happy. Thankyou

    Kev2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice location and a lovely place to stay, just what we expected. Steve and Val were very helpful and kind, and the room had everything we needed. The hot tub was also really good especially as it was cold outside. I would definitely recommend.

    Jessica2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Steve and Val’s place is an absolute retreat! We went to climb Snowden and Val kindly printed us out directions how to get there. The hot tub was a special treat to relax our muscles after our trek! We can not recommend this place enough- so clean, the room smells divine and the bed is so comfy. Breakfast nutritious! We will definitely be back again!!!

  • Steve and Val's 'get - away' cottage in the Welsh Hills an hour from Llandudno is perfect for travelers wishing calm, peace and quiet. The facility is very comfortable and private, but the hosts are close by on site should their guests need assistance. The included breakfast - the equivalent of a full English - was hot and delicious and served in our room (a nice touch). We highly recommend this facility, and also Steve and Val as hosts. Five stars all 'round!

    James2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended, beautiful spot in the countryside surrounded by wildlife, birds, butterflies, pheasants, squirrels, rabbits and even bats at night! Lovely to watch the bats fly around at sun down in the hot tub! Steve and Val are so approachable and very thoughtful! We always went back to the hot tub temperature turned up for us as the nights are getting chilly now, bins emptied and supplies topped up for us each time! I have so much trust in Val and Steve, I have so much respect for them going well out their way to make our weekend stay that much more greater! Lovely pub walking distance of 35 minutes over the bridge and threw the science park! We hope to stay with Steve and Val on our next visit!

  • Awesome hosts, awesome accommodation, awesome location. Had the best stay and would go back there without hesitation. Thank you Val and Steve :)

A welcoming home from home Tain y Coed cottage offers all that a holiday maker could want. Fully equipped for five people. Spacious and light with fantastic views over open countryside. Easy to reach all the beaches, bustling town, quiet hideaways and ancient monuments and castles
Tain Y Coed Farm Cottage is less than five miles from the Britannia Bridge and located on the A5025 which allows for easy access to the resort of Benllech about 6 miles away and easy drives to the towns of Llangefni, Holyhead, the A55 expressway and the mainland. Menai Bridge, just a 4 mile drive away, is a bustling town situated on the edge of the famous Menai Strait. The town is a popular destination for mooring and has facilities for launching boats. Menai Bridge is a great place to shop having a wide variety of independent shops, taverns and restaurants and is situated on the tourist route for the historic town of Beaumaris. This side of Anglesey has many fine beaches providing ample opportunities to enjoy sailing and water sports not to mention the fabulous coastline which boasts over 120 miles of footpaths. Picturesque Red Wharf Bay can be reached easily by car is about 3-4 miles. This beautiful wide sandy bay overlooking Liverpool Bay is perfect for walks and horses can often be seen being exercised on the beach. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive for journeys to Bangor, Menai bridge and Holyhead. Pentraeth village (Its Welsh name means at the end of (or head of) a beach, and it is located near Traeth Coch (Red Wharf Bay). is about a mile away. There is a small river, Afon Nodwydd which runs through it. There is one shop and two pubs. St Mary's Church is the village church. The date of construction is unknown, but is probably from some time between the 12th to 14th centuries. Some medieval stonework remains in three walls of the building. A chapel was added to the south side in the 16th or 17th century, and the church was altered and refurbished during the 19th century. The church is still in use, as part of the Church in Wales, and is one of five churches in a combined parish. It is a Grade II listed building, a designation given to "buildings of special interest, which warrant every effort being made to preserve them",in particular because of the retention of medieval fabric in a predominately 19th-century building, and its "fine" memorials.
Peace and quiet yet easy to reach tourist areas
  • Light spacious bungalow with glorious views, and well equipped too.

    Andrew2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location for exploring. Views are amazing and to see the bunnies jumping about on the grass when the sun goes down is so lovely.

    Jess2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful place. Sparkling clean, was a real pleasure to stay here. Would love to return. If you’ve got kids bring a DVD player if that’s their thing or plenty of data on your phone.. that is my only slight downside but on the whole a fantastic holiday. Thanks Keith x

    Kristina2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A really great cottage with an absolutely spectacular view. Perfect for kids to run around in, both inside and out. Located close to the main road so great for getting out and about on the island but set back so you don’t hear any of the traffic and the kids are completely safe. The WiFi doesn’t really work so if you have teenagers who will be horrified with no Internet maybe not the place for you. But if you want spectacular views, lovely big rooms and a great location then this is the place for you.

    Naomi2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely holiday being the first time we went away with our infant daughter. The cottage was perfect with stunning views, peaceful area and our daughter loved to roam this child friendly cottage. It was just fantastic and cant recommend it enough.

    Hayley2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Keith's place is great! Spotlessly clean and the location is brilliant. Easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. What a lovely part of the world. Thanks

    Jennifer2019-07-20T00:00:00Z

Enjoy quite literally this little bit of paradise. Set in the stunning, unspoilt south west corner of Anglesey, overlooking the Snowdonia mountains and Llyn peninsula, our custom-made shepherd's hut offers you a genuine get- away from it all experience! It's a real shepherd's hut with our friendly sheep nearby, ducks, chickens and loads of open space to explore and relax in. This is a true 'off grid' stay, complete with eco- composting toilet, wood-burning stove, and working small-holding.
The view here is breathtaking and this with the sense of retreat is what we most want guests to experience. There's no wifi, so you can disconnect from the busyness for a while and reconnect with family and friends. This is glamping, built by us and our friends to make the most of the view, but without cutting corners on comfort and style. We have designed the space so that there's an option for up to four people to stay comfortably, with one double bedroom and the living area seating that can be made up into a second double bed. There's a barbeque and outdoor seating as well as a campfire circle you can toast marshmallows on! In addition, there's a small gas stove for you to boil the kettle inside on those wet days which occasionally occur! You will be able to park your car nearby on our land after you've unloaded your things but we do have children and animals so we want to keep cars off the field and away from the communal areas. You will have use of the bathroom, shower and washing up facilities down in the main house which is a couple of minutes walk away. There's also a fridge/freezer for your use in the utility room. The shepherd's hut is located in a field up quite a sloped track and about 150 metres from the house. The composting toilet which we've affectionately nick-named 'loo with a view' sits alongside the hut. In colder months we will provide the first basket of logs and thereafter, by negotiation. We could happily accommodate tents for additional friends/family at £10 a tent/per night on request.
Anglesey is a small island off the North Wales coast and close to the mountains and sea. We are located about 3 miles from the nearest beach and close to the vast Newborough forest where you can often spot red squirrels. Llanddwyn island is just on the doorstop as well which is a favourite for walkers, wind-surfers and photographers and has miles of safe, sandy beach. There are plenty of family attractions in the area including the sea zoo, Foel farm and the famous Halen Mon (Anglesey sea-salt ). Alternatively, if walking is your thing, the Anglesey coastal footpath offers a manageable challenge. If you want a lazy morning strolling around the little towns and villages, you can finish up in one of the many welcoming coffee shops where you can stop and watch the world go by. There are 3 supermarkets 12 minutes drive away and the A55 is very easily accessible.
  • My boyfriend and I had a fabulous time at Karen's Shepard's hut, the location is superb as the views are incredible! The hut has everything you need for a peaceful countryside getaway and we had a gorgeous evening roasting marshmallows over the firepit :) we would highly recommend this place. Karen's communication was great and the directions advised were very helpful.

  • What a wonderful place! What wonderful hosts. The Shepherds Hut is just fabulous! And that view; just stunning. It's a real little escape (but with good 4G 😉). Karen and Rachel have thought of everything ,all the little extra touches make it really luxurious! The bed was super comfy - we slept really well. The outside fire pit was great, we had a lovely evening sat by a roaring fire. The 'loo with a view' was brilliant. The bathroom at the main farmhouse was really good and impeccably clean. We will definitely be back! Thank you Rachel and Karen and family.

    Claire2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of 4 had a wonderful couple of nights. Highlights for us were the campfire sessions, star gazing, peace and quiet and wonderful views of Snowdonia. We had sun, rain & wind, but the accommodation was so comfortable that we enjoyed every minute!

    Ali2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay ! Would definitely recommend anyone who loves the countryside. Owners were amazing and very helpful ! I would definitely stay again.

  • This place was just perfect, definitely recommend. Such a comfortable and great use of space, my little little girl loved it

    Matt2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful AirBnB experience. The Shepherd’s Hut is just amazing. Such a clever use of space with a great living/bedroom area along with a cozy, and very comfortable, separate bedroom. The hut has everything you need and more during your stay. Outside is a BBQ along with the Eco “Loo with a View”!!! Down the hill, at the main house, there was a fridge/freezer, sink and our own separate shower/toilet facilities which were of a very high standard (and most welcome after a day at the beach!!!). Karen, Rachel and the whole family were lovely hosts. Great communication and very welcoming/friendly. Location is perfect.Easy to find a great base for all that Anglesey and North Wales has to offer. Finally for those who can’t live without Tech (like me!!!), there may not be WIFI but there is a very strong 4G signal!! Do not hesitate and make sure you book this.

  • Beautiful property exceptionally clean and stylish space, very welcoming touches from the hosts, with, tea, coffee and biscuits on the side as soon as you walk in. The communication with Yvonne was exceptional with very detailed step by step directions which helped massively. She was also happy to meet us at the property if we required to show us around, however we did not do this as we arrived so late. There was leaflets of local things to do around the island. Also the manuals for all the appliances in the house also which could come in very handy if it was your first time away. Thank you for such a brilliant weekend. If we are in Anglesey I would definitely stay here again.

    Lewis2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time, llangefni is well placed in the middle of the island so everywhere is within easy reach. It was nice after a day of exploring to have a clean and comfortable place to come back to and relax. When we come back you'll be top of our list.

Loved the little touches by Denise and Carl such as the kitchen essentials, little treats etc which made it very much home from home. It was great to come back after being outside in the absolutely hideous British weather and get cosy. Much needed family time achieved thanks guys! X

  • We had a great short-break in this really spacious caravan, which the owners have furnished with everything you will need for your stay. The caravan is comfortable and warm and the green space at the back for the dogs to run on was a real bonus. It has a really hot and powerful shower which is a big plus point. Denise & Carl said hello and goodbye, and made it clear we should speak to them if we needed anything, but as the caravan was thoughtfully stocked and the information provided in the guest folder covered everything, we didn't need much else! The caravan is nicely situated in a quiet corner of Anglesey so you can easily get to all best spots for walking/shopping but have peace & quiet to return to. There are some good walks to be had from the caravan itself and you can get to a few really good pubs on foot too.

  • Me and my husband and a fantastic weekend break at the caravan for our 1 year anniversary! The place is very peaceful and a perfect locations for trips to the local beaches. The caravan is spotless, the shower is hot and powerful! On arrival Denise had everything set up, ready to go, BBQ and fire pit. Inside was lovey biscuits, eggs, butter, milk and cold water in fridge just perfect. We are keen walkers, we found printed out some coastal path circular walks of which we did after leaving on the Sunday, we look forward to coming back and trying another one!

  • This was a great find.... if you are looking for a chilled comfortable and exceptionally clean base you will not be disappointed.... with added little homely touches. Comfy beds and a great shower loads of space for a couple or small family. Lovely outside space and a large enclosed meadow for a dog and kids to play. Denise and Carl were friendly and helpful and there if you need anything. We will definitely be back very soon...

Escape to the Anglesey countryside in this newly built, cosy, woodland retreat. The Log Cabin at Ashleigh House is a place that will warm the hearts and souls of travellers, giving you your basic needs whilst lost in the beautiful tranquility of North Wales. This is a place where time truly does stand still and the stresses of day to day life will simply melt away.
The Cabin is a large, round space with pull-out sofa bed (sleeps 2), kitchen workspace, TV (Netflix provided), and gas fire. Master bedroom (sleeps 2) and Bathroom are separate rooms off the main room. Private garden area is still undergoing maintainence, however shared garden space/the field can be used. There are swings at the far end of the field for children, a snug little area at the top of the hill for a picnic, or just the big open space for taking in that beautiful Welsh air! PLEASE NOTE:- Currently unsuitable for children under the age of 3. Unsuitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. No Pets. No Smoking.
The neighbourhood is a quaint little town that accommodates a convenience shop, a petrol station, post office, fish and chip shop and Chinese Take-Away. There is lovely Pub/Restaurant called the Gaerwen Arms that has been newly refurbished. We love it in there and would highly recommend visiting for an evening meal! There is also a fantastic bakery over on the industrial estate. (They make the best breakfast baps to take away on the island!). The Holland Arms Garden Centre is just around the corner. They have a lovely little cafe and are home to some beautiful gifts suitable for all the family.
  • We enjoyed our stay in the lovely cosy cabin. It was sparkling clean, lovely and warm and had everything we needed. The Gaerwen arms was lovely too. It was only a 10 minute walk away. Thank you to Kate and Dale for hosting us.

  • Such a beautiful space, so tranquil and much bigger than we thought. The finishing touches are lovely. It was our anniversary weekend and Kate and Dale had even left a card and chocolates for us. Communication and directions to the cabin were great, and Jan checked us in quickly upon our arrival. The location is ideal to explore all of Anglesey and is a good base for Snowdonia too. Super clean and the comfiest of beds and sofa. We loved it here and will definitely be back!

  • The perfect, cosy getaway for my husband's birthday. Dale and Kate couldn't do enough for us and went the extra mile to decorate the cabin for my husband so we could celebrate in style. As soon as the door closed we were in a little bit of heaven with an awesome shower, great facilities and the most wonderful bed! We can't wait to go back: it has become our childfree escape! Thank you, thank you! X

    Lauren2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing space! It’s a lot bigger on the inside than the outside; very much like a tardis. Extremely clean, romantic and inviting. You will not be disappointed!

The Cart Shed at Dyffryn Isaf forms part of an early 18th Century grain barn. It was bought and renovated in 2004 by Penny and Malcolm Innes and it is their home.
The Cart Shed has been tastefully converted, maintaining lots of original features. Upstairs is a very large, bright comfortable bedroom, furnished with period furniture. The cosy sitting room come kitchen, has large glass windows with open views of the surrounding Countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a wood burning stove for cosy nights in and all wood is provided for free of charge. The cottage is fully heated with underfloor heating throughout. Downstairs is a modern shower room, fully heated. We also have a sofa bed in the sitting room with all bedding provided, as well as a travel cot and high chair for infants if needed. Guests can enjoy access to the 20 acres of land and woodland through which the River Ceint flows, this is an on going woodland management project. Dyffryn Isaf has an abundance of Wildlife and a motley lot of friendly animals which include some dozey cows, the clucky chickens who supply us all with eggs and the lazy horses who can be seen plodding around the field. We are located only 3 and half miles from the Sea at Red Wharf Bay and only 10 Minutes drive from the Historic Towns of Beaumaris and Menai Bridge where there are many fine restaurants and pubs. Friendly Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
Pentraeth is the local village and can be found 2 miles down the road, which has a convenience store and friendly and welcoming pub, with beautiful walks up into the forest. There are plenty of lovely beaches within 10 minutes drive.
  • Just had a really comfortable stay at the Cart Barn this weekend. We were very cosy with the log burner and well looked after by our hosts. Great location for local activities, plenty of eating/drinking options in the area and so peaceful. Definitely to be recommended. Thank you.

  • Malcolm was a wonderful host-polite, hospitable and respectful of our privacy. He left a lovely breakfast with the most delicious eggs from his hens. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • Great hosts. Great place for walking the dog and a quiet get away. Loved the breakfast and the log burner. Great hosts who accommodated our late arrival. Well worth a visit! Thanks again

  • Lovely place, great getaway, nice location, well laid out and has everything you need. Host provided eggs, bread, jam, milk and wood for the log burner. Malcolm was very welcoming and I would recommend the place for a quiet rural break.

  • We’ve just returned from a 4 night stay at Malcolm & Penny’s Cart Shed and it was wonderful. We stayed just after Christmas, over New Year’s and there were lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra-special, including having a fully decorated Christmas tree! The place was spotless and we were made to feel extremely welcome, despite Malcolm & Penny having been ill over the festive period. We loved meeting the chickens and Peter Pan and the dogs were a delight. We visit Anglesey at least 4 times a year and stay all across the island, but the Cart Shed was situated perfectly for our needs, being convenient for shopping in Llangefni and Pentraeth/Benllech/Beaumaris. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Diolch!

    Gem & Matt2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Even better than the pictures suggest. The spot, 2 mles down a tiny road, is lovely in winter so it must be magnificent in spring and summer. Perfect hideaway yet accessable but not disturbed by the rest of the world. We absolutely loved it and the little extras.

    Dr Peter2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We got to spend our first Christmas as a married couple at the Cart Shed and we were not disappointed. Our stay was exactly what we wanted. Quiet, cosy and scenic. There was a christmas tree waiting for us, firewood for the log burner & and there were so many extra thoughtful touches we really appreciated wine, chocolates, candle, milk and bread etc along with all the amenities needed for us to cook our Christmas Dinner. It's ideally located so everything in angelsey is just a drive away. Our dog also enjoyed going out & making friends with the resident dogs. Malcolm is a welcoming host but also leaves you to enjoy your break uninterrupted - but would be there if needed. Would recommend.

  • We had a brilliant weekend away at Carys and Andy’s place! The rural escape we needed - great location! We had everything we needed and Carys and Andy gave us some great tips on what to do and where to eat. They even let us stay later when the storms could have caused us travel issues. The hot tub was a lovely addition!

Dyffryn Isaf Glamping site is a rural retreat set within 20 acres of farm, woodland and paddocks. It is located next to the river Ceint which is easily accessible with an abundance of wildlife, try and spot a red squirrel!! The bell tents sit at the bottom of the field with a well established vegetable patch full of fresh vegetables all grown by Penny and Malcolm. We welcome all families, couples or groups looking to book for a break away in the heart of Anglesey Countryside.
Each bell tent sleeps up to 4 guests, with a double bed and 2 single futons, the tents are fitted with cosy log burning stoves for those chillier nights, along with toasty hot water bottles. Each tent is equipped with a 2 hob gas top stove and all the appliances for a functioning kitchen like home from home. We also provide extra blankets and space outside to sit and enjoy the views, with no light pollution, Dyffryn is the perfect place to sit back at night and star gaze. Guests are greeted with a little welcome pack and the essentials for breakfast.
We are located only 3 and half miles from the Sea at Red Wharf Bay and only 10 Minutes drive from the Historic Towns of Beaumaris and Menai Bridge where there are many fine restaurants and pubs. We are central on the Island, Newborough forest and Llandwyn Island are not too far away, along with Rhosneigr and Moelfre.
  • A stunning place, the bell tents are fab, so very well catered for. A table and chairs to dine just outside on the deck, warm and cosy inside with a wood burning stove, hot water bottles and even blankets for sitting outside star gazing! Fairy lights around the inside made it so romantic. Amazing hot showers and all very clean. The breakfast items and little vases of fresh flowers made lovely little touches. All this with exceptional hosting made for a fab weekend.

    Amanda2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Yurt was absolutly gorgeous, it was spotless and the extra little touches where fabulous and made our anniversary even more special. they had fabulous reccomendations too! you feel very much at home and like camping out in the wild when really you 10/15mins away from shops etc! amazing place and we most definitely will be back thank you! (oh and the dogs/horses are the friendliest animals)

    Bethan2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This glamping site is just awesome! We arrived late on the Friday and Malcolm was only too happy to greet us, show us to the tent and even light the fire. The tent was clean, neat and well maintained. Even at the end of the season (late September) and a weekend of poor weather we were more than comfortable with nothing much more than you’d pack for a B&B. Toilets and showers were excellent - it’s clear to see that Malcolm takes much pride in the place. This was our very first camping (admittedly glamping) trip and we will be sure to return next year!!!

    Matthew2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for being so welcoming and accommodating. We all loved the glamping setup: the Bell tent with log burner helped to ease the late Sept chill; dining area and everything you need to cook what you want; picnic table and space for the kids to run around and explore. Bob, Pete, mandy and the chickens all helped to keep our kids happy and entertained! Lovely setup and we'd love to come back.

    Anthony2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place- a real find,it has everything you need and much more . Fabulous and really helpful hosts (including Bob ) amidst a great location. Can't wait to return .

    Gemma2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The view is perfect. The flowers and grass is peaceful and colorful. There are a lot of apple trees and the puppy is so energetic and cutie.

    Jin2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying in the bell tent. The location was lovely and peaceful, great for us with our 5 year old son who could safely roam around and loved making friends with Bob the collie. The tent itself was fabulous, the double bed really comfy and the log burner made us feel cosy and warm, particularly on our first night which was quite cold outside! We had everything we needed in the little kitchen area and on our verandah outside our tent, pots, pans, plates, cups etc which meant we didn’t need to bring all our usual camping paraphanalia. Our hosts were lovely too, very helpful suggesting local beaches and places to eat. Will definitely be back, thank you 😊

    Zoe2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking to relax with a cosy glamping break this is ideal. Wood burning stove to keep the tent nice and warm, stoves on the decking with a picnic bench. Clean and nice toilets and showers, and very friendly hosts. Completely recommend this to anyone considering it, you'll have a great time. Thanks.

    Amy2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoy everything about Caths place very clean and had everything you could need for stay It’s a lovely quiet peace of Paradise in Wales so so peaceful and Cath & Frieda where the perfect hosts we will be back many thanks again Cath hugs.

    Craig2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cath's directions were easy to follow and upon arrival our hosts were there with a most friendly greeting. They explained all that we needed to know concerning equipment etc within the caravan which was totally clean, everything was in good order and fully operational. Every possible facility had been considered: a bbq, sitting area with table outside the caravan to the front and a safe lawned area again to sit in whilst children can happily play. If you come from a busy area, it really is Paradise with views of the mountains in the distance. We have no problem in recommending this for a relaxing holiday venue.

    Jean2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely caravan in a beautiful, peaceful setting and in an excellent location for exploring Anglesey. Cath is a lovely host and very helpful. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable but firm so if you like it a bit softer take a mattress topper with you - I did this and it was fine for me. We slept well every night after all the walking we did!

    Rosemary2019-09-14T00:00:00Z

  • Helen’s place is in a beautiful picturesque rural location. The place is very well appointed, large rooms, and very warm for a winter stay. The home is spotlessly clean and really feels like a home away from hone. Helen gave really good instructions for how to get there, and check in was very easy. We loved meeting the cat, dog and chooks too 😊 Would definitely recommend, and would certainly stay again.

    Tabitha2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent in every way. Spacious, very clean and feels brand new. Relaxing surroundings and a brilliant host - would definitely recommend and want to return!

  • The house is a wonderful little idyll, tucked away in a beautiful rural location but close enough to amenities to pop out for anything you've forgotten. The house was a much bigger space than we expected from the photos - very comfortable, warm and cosy, with thoughtful little touches (like farm fresh eggs) throughout the house. Helen was very welcoming but also gave us space and privacy. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Anglesey.

    Claire2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay here and everything was spot on from the spacious and stylish interior to the cleanliness and amenities on hand. As my daughter has a disability the easy flow of the house made moving around so much easier than it might have been. Thank you for a super stay. Mary and Clare x

  • Wow what an incredible property to stay in for our first time on Anglesey. Perfect location with easy access to many of the hotspots to take our children too.
