Shepherds Hut with wood fired hot tub. A romantic getaway for couples on The Isle of Anglesey. Our Bespoke Shepherds Hut is situated within easy walking distance from two beautiful beaches and the Anglesey coastal path. Views from the hut are across countryside to the sea.
Bea's Hut is perfect for a romantic getaway for couples wishing to enjoy peace and quiet away from all the stresses of life. The Hut is built on an age old design with a small log burner for cosy nights in during colder periods. It also features all comforts of modern life. Bea's Hut includes: A large fold down double bed with linen, towels and bathrobe Ensuite facilities with a shower, flushing toilet Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, a small fridge including essentials; milk, eggs, bread and cereals and preserves High speed Wifi, smart TV, USB charging point Outside you will find a log fired hot tub which you can use for an additional charge of £30 per stay payable on arrival or through Airbnb. Great for star gazing, relaxing aching limbs, and enhancing a good night's sleep. There are no chemicals/chlorine used in the water, the tub is cleaned and fresh new water for every changeover. Just a warning to avoid disappointment, If there are gale force winds forecast it may not be possible to use the hot tub. There is a BBQ and patio area with a table and chairs to enjoy a glass or two of your favourite tipple, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Bea's Hut offers everything you need for a perfect short break away. Bea's Hut is set on our 15 acre small holding, within easy walking distance of two beautiful beaches and Anglesey's coastal path. There are quite often sheep in the field in front of the hut as well as our horse Flamingo. We also have a small friendly dog and a cat. They may want to come and say hello to you. We run a small shellfish business on the farm. The access to Bea's Hut is down a single track country lane with some passing places. There are two other small holiday cottages at the same address. However Bea's Hut is set furthest away and has plenty of privacy. We aim to give all our guests a peaceful relaxing experience.
Anglesey is surrounded by water and therefore also some beautiful beaches. Bea's hut is only a few minutes walk from Sandy Beach. A fabulous beach to walk, sunbathe or swim from. Over a mile long with a caravan site at the far end which has a small shop and a bar. That end usually gets quite busy but this end is normally quiet. Trefadog Beach is a small cove and doesn't get busy and is great for rock pooling and finding interesting creatures.
  • We had a really nice stay at Bea's, feeling right at home we were provided with everything we needed. The weather was a bit wild but that added to the amazing hot tub experience. The shepherd's hut was cosy and we spent two lovely nights warmed by the fire.

  • Bea’s Shepherds hut was immaculately clean and tidy and really cosy. The hot tub is a fantastic touch and it was ideally situated for walks along the Anglesey coastline. Would definitely return.

    Martyn2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Bea was a lovely, attentive host and although the weather was not the best due to the storm, she made sure our stay was as pleasant as could be and even offered us her own home when the weather felt too dangerous for us in the little hut. The hot tub was lovely and just what was needed in the winter weather although we couldn’t use it much due to the storm but it was great for the time we get to spend in it. Would definitely recommend Bea’s hut for a weekend away :) I can imagine the beaches and scenery are beautiful in better weather!

    Aishah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Bigger space than you think! Lovely stay, lovely hosts, and the hot tub was a great touch! Thank you!

    Amelia2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bea’s hut is a great little escape, the hot-tub is amazing in a cold winters night! Everything was nice and clean with lovely small thoughtful touches. Bea was very helpful with great communication and the cat was so sweet and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

    Renata2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing place for an escape! Not only is the hut itself in a beautiful spot, but it was really spacious for a small space and full of little treats that really made the whole trip so special. We really enjoyed our time and would honestly go back in a heartbeat!

Tan y Bryn is situated in the small hamlet of Rhydwyn and we are fortunate to have some excellent eateries practically on our doorstep. It lies on the north west coast of Anglesey in a quiet rural area with spectacular views. There are two pubs nearby but if nightlife is a requirement then it's not for you. We live in a rural and fairly remote area but with good road access. It’s peeaceful and quiet.

  • Rose Cottage was great, well stocked with amenities and spotlessly clean. Just what we needed to get away from it all for a few days. We had a lovely walk down to the beach. Thanks Marina for being a great host.

  • The cottage is beautiful. Comfortable and cosy. Wish I could have stayed for longer. Couldn't recommend enough.

  • What a glorious cottage absolutely faultless

    Derren2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous cottage and attentive host. Everything we could of hoped for and more in a quiet , but handy location with lovely views. We enjoyed the long burner, well equipped kitchen , comfy beds and all the great facilities this cottage offers. We will definitely be back. Wills , Sarah and Bailey the Black Lab.

    Paul2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • I have to say, the property was much larger inside than I thought it would be, Marina has all the bases covered, it’s scrupulously clean, every comfort has been thought of, really good quality and excellent service, and I have to say, all the little touches you have throughout make it feel like a home away from home, albeit a luxury one! One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, and exceptional value for money! From a bottle of bubbly awaiting you, to milk in the fridge, condiments in the cupboard, sky box , lovely wood burner, fleecy blankets, great deep bath with bubbles and hair products provided, a huge comfy settee and plenty of brochures and information. The view was gorgeous, it’s perfectly located for all areas, and frankly I can’t wait to go back!!

One of two delightful shepherds huts set in a 5 acre working smallholding with fabulous views over open countryside towards Snowdonia. This hut, Cae, which means field in Welsh, has a fold-down kingsize bed. The huts, hand-built to our design, are warm and cosy with electric heating, their own en-suite showers and gas cookers. The huts suit adult couples, looking for a quiet break. Each hut has its own firepit and BBQ, outdoor seating and blankets so you can sit and stargaze on a clear night.
The two huts are situated 50 yards apart, making them private spaces, but they are close enough together for someone looking for a holiday with friends. You can park very close to Cae and there is a gravel path up to its steps!
Llanfaethlu is a small village a mile from the beach, and there is a shop, post office and cafe all in walking distance. The North West coast of Anglesey is an area of outstanding natural beauty with amazing coastal walks and opportunities for birdwatching. It's a short drive to the holiday resorts on the South coast for surfing, shopping and eating.
  • Fab place. Definitely be back!!!

    David2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • A stunning location and beautiful accommodation - the photos do not do it justice! Nick was an amazing host - so accommodating and provided everything we could have needed. We only had one night at Cae but will definitely be back for a longer stay!

    Laura2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such a unique and special place, with uninterrupted views of miles of countryside from your bed. Get up early to catch the sunrise! Lovely fresh eggs and bread too. Would love to come come back here some day - thanks Nick.

  • Fabulous! Don’t even think about it.... just book it! You will have a lovely time. The hut is incredibly clean and surprisingly spacious. Everything has been considered from eco products and high quality accessories and bedding. We stayed for our 10th wedding anniversary and were welcomed with a card and treats! Thank you, so thoughtful. The welcome pack of bread (baked by Nick), lovely salty butter, fresh eggs from his chickens and lovely refreshments hit the spot. We managed to have a fire in the fire pit one evening under the stars, perfect. We even had speckled hen sat on the doorstep each morning. The view to wake up to at the front of the hut on the Snowdonian range was stunning just as the sunsets were at the back of the hut. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you! Ceri and Pete x

    Ceri2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The Shepherd's hut is so lovely, peaceful location and wonderful views. High quality furnishings and sitting by the firepit was an extra bonus, watching the stars. Would highly recommend.

  • Delightful light , airy cosy flat in a rural setting and very near beaches and the Wales Coast Walk. Bea is a great host and left tasty treats and wine for us.

    Vanessa2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful. Bea Is just absolutely lovely. Bea left little treats and gifts about the accommodation including fresh eggs from her farm and we got a little cuddle from Woody the dog and the pony. The outdoor hot tub is well worth the money and the views are magnificent. The accommodation is second to none and we will be back

    Michelle2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bea was a very thoughtful host with leaving us some basics to help us get going with cooking and having the hot tub ready for us even though the wind was howling. Her property is a beautiful hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for a restful weekend/week away. This property was nice and cosy in the horrible stormy weather but would also be amazing for a weekend away in the sun!

    Elizabeth2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Bea’s Retreat was exactly what we needed! A beautiful getaway to recharge our batteries. Bea was very sweet to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the space. She even gifted us with fresh eggs, milk, wine, and chocolates! It’s in a great location in Anglesey! Very quick to drive to several places, but was always nice to have peace and quiet when we returned! And the hot tub was amazing! We had absolute clear skies the evening we stayed and were able to enjoy some star gazing while in the hot tub. Bea was even kind enough to warm up the hot tub for us for when we returned from dinner! How kind! We hope to come back and enjoy another stay at Bea’s Retreat! It’s a gem of an Airbnb! Highly recommend! Thanks, Bea!

    Amanda2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Bea welcomed us to her beautiful property, and left us some thoughtful treats like fresh milk and eggs, chocolates, a bottle of champagne, and flowers - which really added to our valentine’s day. We used the hot tub at night on our first day and the stars were beautiful, it was perfect. The home itself is so stylish and cosy, we loved the balcony and the bed was so comfy! Bea even picked us up some takeout on the second night whilst she was in town, she was so accommodating and lovely! Flamingo the horse was adorable and Woody the dog was the cutest. On our last day we took a short walk to one of the beaches, and despite storm dennis, the sights were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for making mine and my boyfriends valentine’s weekend so special, we loved our stay and would recommend to all!

    Eliza2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

Lots of literature available to help you plan walks from the comfort of the apartment. • Had a lovely relaxing break with my dog. A remote and beautiful place.

    Jan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • A very comfortable static caravan. All amenities are here with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with tv, shower room, bedrooms, etc. Hot water & central heating were very efficient. Even in blustery, cooler weather this was very cosy. The location is very remote. To us, this was part of the attraction but your own transport is a must. Popping out to the corner shop for a pint of milk takes a while!! The local scenery is amazing with wonderful dog walks down to secluded bays. We had a lovely Monday to Friday stay.

  • The Loft at Bryn Farm is fabulous. It gives you a warm cwtch which means more than a cuddle in English. The place is spotless, has loads of character, beautiful setting and terrific hosts. Horses, foals, cows, wild flowers, beautiful garden, very quiet and a lovely puppy.

  • Easy to find with the directions given. Great location and enough room for our short stay. Home baked fresh bread when we arrived, lovely. Felt at home straight away and very comfortable. If exploring the island you will never be more than 20 minutes from Bryan Farm so it is an ideal location. Nice rural setting with a mare and foal in the adjoining field to see plus the usual cows and sheep. Plenty of information available in the room regarding places to visit and eating establishments. Overall a very restful and relaxing break. We will return!

  • The Loft is lovely. A beautiful, cosy, space with everything you need. It is extremely quiet but still very accessible. Jane is a wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure that we had a perfect weekend in this lovely part of the country.

  • This is the second time we have stayed as guests in Karen’s properties. A last minute change of plan meant that we swapped to a fabulous cottage on the headland above Rhydwyn. I can’t praise it highly enough. Karen is a fabulous host. Her cottages have everything in that you could possibly need plus plenty of extra special touches too. We will be booking again as soon as we can squeeze some more holidays in!

  • What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! Minutes away from the coastal path at Church Bay. Everything you’ll need has been provided here for you. Wonderfully warm and a fabulous view over to Ireland to watch the sunsets. Excellent value for money.

  • We had originally booked the Chalet for our stay, but Karen very kindly upgraded us to the Farmhouse. This was a lovely stay. A bit big for just the two of us, but would be great for a group or family to stay. Loads of room and really well appointed with everything we needed. Location was just what we were looking for; a quiet spot and in easy walking reach of beaches and the coastal path. We didn’t try the pub up the road or the restaurant down the road, but definitely would do when we go back.

  • Lovely accommodation and arriving to find a lemon cake waiting for us to was a really nice touch. It's a few miles from shops and takeaways but the local pub is only a few minutes walk. It's a nice, quiet spot and a good base for exploring the island by car.

Two bedroom caravan in large farmhouse garden on working farm. Lots of space for children to play, parking outside caravan, 15 minute walk to Cemaes Bay beach, although it seems further on the way home, within easy reach of all amenities. Cemaes Bay has pubs, corner shop, butchers, chemist and a chippy. There is a garage a few minutes away that stocks most of what you may need Quiet countryside location.
The caravans are not brand new, all singing all dancing! They are elderly but in a great quiet location. If you want a Club house and people this is not the place for you. Gas is provided but electricity is on a £1 meter.
We are a fifteen minute walk from the beach and the village of Cemaes Bay. There are lots of small beaches and many tourist attractions on Anglesey. Visit Beaumaris to see the Castle or the Jail. Or go to Ireland on a ferry for the day.

Welcome to our cosy cottage near Church Bay on Anglesey. The cottage is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and seating area with TV and WiFi. The shower room is located on the first floor with shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail. The entire cottage has central heating. Up the stairs you have a lovely bright bedroom with a double bed and a round window overlooks the small lake. Surrounded by countryside and walking distance to the beach makes the cottage an ideal bolt hole.
The cottage is located up the small driveway off the lane to the beach. Guests have private parking although we do live on site with our dogs and chickens. We are happy to allow a dog and guests have private access to our attached field for little walks before bedtime. There is also outside space to sit and enjoy the sun. A bench and garden table are available for use. The cottage is close to the footpaths taking you to the coastal walks of the area. The local restaurant is the Lobster Pot in Church Bay and well worth a visit to enjoy beautiful food or just watch the sunset go down with a gin in the pretty gardens.
We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area with the beach and wonderful countryside on our doorstep. There is much to do on Anglesey from water sports, go carting, eateries, and of course beautiful weather in our very own micro climate.
  • Great cottage in a lovely location for coastal walks and local to a couple of pubs and restaurants, well worth a visit

    Robert2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is a perfect bolthole by the sea. It is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The location is superb for exploring the island but it is perfect for Church Bay which is where we needed to be - a lovely 20 minute walk across fields and countryside leads you to Church Bay itself. The friendly hosts are on site and available should you need anything but there is also plenty of space and privacy if that is what you prefer. I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to others, it’s lovely!

    Nicola2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautifully appointed cottage, with modern, light decor, furnished to a high standard. Our hosts, Lisa and Graham were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

  • A high quality conversion making a very comfortable place to stay. Lovely large bedroom and well laid out kitchen area. Super shower. A quiet spot and a good location for exploring the Church Bay area.

    Andrew2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa and Graham's place is lovely. Spot-on directions and really easy to find in a great location. This was our first visit to Anglesey and certainly won't be our last; we visited nearby Rhoscolyn, South Stacks RSPB reserve as well as Beamaris on a rainy day, all of which are accessible. The beach down the road at Church Bay is gorgeous too, with lovely cliff walks, a cafe and the Lobster Pot, which is worth a splurge,if you can get a table. Our hosts were super helpful when we were having some problems with our temperamental motor and our Lurcher Peggy felt very welcomed by their two lovely pooches. It's also fun meeting the inquisitive hens (no noisy cockerels this visit!) and eating their lovely eggs! The cottage is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you'd need for a self-catering weekend away with super comfy mattresses, reliable wifi and comfy sofas for lazing at the end of the day. Thanks again Lisa and Graham!

We understand the corona virus is causing disruption, we are open unless travel restrictions apply. We are extremely rural, no need to come into contact with anyone or us for that matter and the caravan is completely disinfected between each set of visitors. If you have any worries or concerns, please contact us. Come enjoy some self isolation and R&R Static caravan in a tranquil setting located in 1.5 acres of private land. A great base to discover and explore beautiful Isle of Anglesey.
The caravan has 2 bedrooms, one has a king size bed with fitted wardrobes. The other has 2 single beds but can be made up into a double if required, this also has fitted wardrobes. If you wish to take advantage of this extra, please contact me BEFORE making a booking to arrange the extra costs to be added to the booking
We are located on a very quiet country lane with no street lighting. A torch is recommended for late arrivals, but however due to the lack of light pollution, there is some amazing star gazing to be done, the Milky Way can be seen by the naked eye.
  • Impressed by the quality of the accommodation even though the reviews and photos were all good. It was particularly windy the weekend of our stay but we were very warm and cosy. No drafts and very effective heating. The location was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Intend to return.

Rallt Farm is a former working farm in the Isle of Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Conveniently located for the area’s popular beaches and the coastal resorts of Trearddur bay and Rhosneigr, with footpath access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. It’s easy to get to, a great base for watersports, walking, cycling or just relaxing.
The annexe adjoins the farmhouse and provides comfortable accommodation comprising a bedroom with double bed and en-suite upstairs and a spacious living downstairs. The living area has a sofa which can be used as a double bed and a basic kitchen with hobs, microwave and fridge freezer. There is no downstairs sink. A large TV with Freesat and a selection of DVDs. Books and board games. Outside there is access to secure storage for bikes and equipment in the stables opposite and use of the property’s large garden.
Located in a rural setting on a lane which leads to the village of Valley. The village has plenty of amenities including a couple of convenience stores, two pubs, the renowned Enoch’s Fish and Chips, and the excellent Catch 22 bistro. Close to popular beach resorts.
  • Great stay at Mandy and John’s home. Good communication and available early check-in on our arrival day. The weather was unfortunately dreadful but we felt very cosy inside their home. The home is stylish, clean, tidy with kind touches such as children’s toys and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Thank you both for a lovely break x

  • Perfect location for travelling around the island. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Very comfortable and so peaceful & quiet. Lovely place to chill. My fault , but I did not pick up on the fact that there is no sink downstairs . It certainly didn't spoil it for us . We had a great week visiting all the wonderful bays on the island and some National Trust properties too. Can't wait to go back . What a special place to live. Thank you to Mandy & John for their hospitality.

    Elaine2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Mandy’s and John’s place has appeared to be a perfect for our family for a longer weekend. We have travelled with a toddler so appreciated toys, books and DVDs age appropriate (although there were also available games, books, DVDs, PS3 for older ), high chair was provided (although no needed) etc. The kitchen unit is well equipped with extra salt/pepper/oil/coffee/tea/sugar for guests convenience. We have really appreciated this. There is also an iron and electric hob, rarely seen in other properties. There is a spacious lounge and bedroom which allowed our travel cot to fit in easily. It’s located in a quiet and rural area. Mandy was very welcoming (we have not had a chance to meet John) and offered my little one to use their trampoline in the back garden (although we did not have a chance to use it as focused on sightseeing). We would recommend Mandy’s and John’s place definitely and would like to come back here again :).

  • Good value, friendly and helpful hosts, stylish and clean little house. Perfect for us and our toddler. We walked to the local beach and it’s also in easy reach of Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn. Food at Catch 22 was great and very toddler friendly with colouring crayons and complimentary carrot sticks and cucumber to help prevent hunger/boredom tantrums

Orchards Way is a large detached, 6 bed-roomed house, with 3 bathrooms, set of a quiet lane with private parking and a large garden. A happy, very light space awaits you in a tranquil setting. The living quarters consist of an open plan living room and large kitchen, separated by a breakfast bar. The living room with oak flooring and wood-burning stove is an inviting space. The fully equipped kitchen with country views invites you through oak french doors into a spacious sun-room.
The house is situated in the quiet village of Llanfairynghornwy. The coast is in walking distance and there are many beaches and coves to explore. The village of Cemaes Bay is a 10 minute drive away. Here you will have access to local shops, doctors, pubs, restaurants and take- aways. Great for those working on the island of Anglesey. on short/long contracts.
Close to Church Bay and the beautiful beach, cafe and wonderful Lobster Pot restaurant. There is a local pub at the Church Bay Hotel, which is less than a two minute drive from the property. On the doorstep are footpaths to explore, coastal walks, coves and beautiful flora to enjoy. Cemlyn nature reserve is close by and well worth a visit. Cemaes Bay is worth a visit with its pretty high street, shops, pubs, butchers and bakers. With a smattering of eateries and a glorious sandy beach. A wonderful way to spend the day! There are lots of things to do on Anglesey with the children from Pili Palas, butterfly farm and lots more besides. Enjoy Anglesey Sea Zoo on the Menai Straits, take a rib ride to Puffin Island or visit Beaumaris Castle. So much to see and do!!!
  • What a beautiful house this was. We celebrated our mothers 70th birthday here for 3 nights and there were 9 adults, a child & baby so was worried about us all being too overcrowded, however this wasn't the case. The house was in fact very spacious so there was plenty of room for us all. Location was extremely quiet with beautiful views. I would recommend stocking up with food/ drink due to the nearest shops being at least 10 mins drive (spar shop) although Tesco can deliver to the house. Excellent communication from the host, Lisa. • Great place for beautiful beaches and walks. Plenty of space in the house for kids to play while the adults chill in front of the log fire. Perfect if you need a rest and a slow paced holiday.

  • Beautiful house, much larger than it shows on pictures. Good host- Very quick responses to any questions. Very peaceful and rural surroundings. Would definitely recommend

  • The perfect stay of over Christmas! What a dream! Photos do not do the house justice. Everything we could possibly have needed was thought of. Would absolutely stay here again.

  • A more spacious property than the photos suggest. Well equipped and comfortable and in a great location for coastal walks.

  • Just returned from a fantastic stay, house is huge! Photos don’t do it justice. Great communal space and the wood burner kept us all cosy. All bathrooms have a shower which was key for us and more than enough sleeping room for all of the family. Enclosed garden was big & perfect for my boys and the dogs to play and run about. House is also well located & close to many popular spots we like to visit. Lisa was a fab host, great communication and easy to contact if needed. Really couldn’t recommend enough. We’ll be back!! Thank you Lisa, Graham & family 😊

  • We have just enjoyed a great weekend on Anglesey in Lisa's place. The house was beautiful and clean with plenty of space and lovely glimpses of the sea from upstairs. We couldn't have asked for more, really comfortable and super spacious. I would highly recommend staying here and exploring the fantastic coast line in this region. We loved it !!

Tyddn Y Waen (Little house on the marsh) is situated just outside the village of Llanfechell. Beautiful views of open countryside, with your own orchard and hot tub. Recently refurbished all your comforts are catered for. The Farm House originally built in 1890 provides 9 acres of fields, lake and woodland for you to relax in. Seven minutes drive from Cemaes, the most northerly beach on Anglesey, and twenty minutes from the beautiful Church Bay you will be spoilt for choice.
You will receive a welcome pack on arrival. Perfect place to stay for walkers, cyclists, we have plenty of secure storage during your stay. There is a wood burning stove for cold evenings, very comfortable beds and fluffy towels.
Lovely quiet place 2 minutes walk to our local shop for your provisions. 5 minute drive down to the beautiful beach and harbour of Cemaes, a 20 minute drive to the large Church Bay great for walking and crabbing. We are happy to provide a picnic for you with prior notice
  • Absolutely fantastic! Ann and Grant were great! They made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble! The place was amazing, definitely 5 star. It was cosy, stylish and had everything you could need. Ann and Grant went above and beyond with some nice little extra touches that made the stay that extra bit special. The highlights were definitely the log burner, hot tub and the very large master bedroom with a huge bed and even better views out of the window. The location is also in a great spot for exploring Anglesey. Would definitely recommend and most certainly go back again!

    Adam2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Ann and Grant have a lovely holiday home, which is a great space for a family. Very comfortable, with amazing views and a hot tub we didn't want to get out of. Massive bed and a great second room. Wood burning stove stocked with wood and a fire starting kit. Lovely to have a generous welcome pack after a long drive up from the south.

    Rob2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wow -what a find! We had a wonderful relaxing weekend stay at this super stylish farm house. The hosts (Ann and Grant) couldn't be more welcoming and obviously go to a great deal of effort to make sure you have a perfect holiday. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean and a HUGE comfortable bed (electric - so we were able to enjoy our morning cuppa sitting up in bed). It's the thoughtful extra touches we really loved......a hospitality welcome pack, fluffy robes and towels, slippers and even a sweetie jar. We'll make sure we make use of the enormous hot tub next time as we'll definitely be booking a return visit, and this time for longer, as we didn't want to leave. Can't wait to go back.

    Sarah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures really do not do this place justice. It’s idyllic, I really didn’t want to come home. From the cakes and welcome tray on arrival, the stunning, clean and fresh house and the super huge electric bed which sits you up to stunning views in the morning, we just couldn’t want for anymore. It topped it off for us to be able to have a hot tub in the evening, but as with the rest of this place, nothing is done on a small scale. The hot tub is huge and again so clean it sparkles. Ann & Grant really do seem to take pride in going above and beyond for their guests. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return xx

  • Alun picked us up at the station when arriving and dropped us at the ferry terminal the next morning. Also he had many good tips on what to do/where to grab a beer in Holyhead. Great service, very clean and stylish place.

    Nick2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! Warm and welcome home, comfortable bed and hosts that go more than an extra mile for you. We’ll return to Holyhead one day just to see and stay with them again. Highly recommend this to anyone traveling to this area.

  • Our stay with Gweeno (and especially her father Arun) was absolutely amazing. We are on a 2 month journey through Europe, and we are so grateful for having such a wonderful and gracious host! We usually walk from the train station to our accommodations, but Arun picked us up and dropped us off. Arun even gave us a tour of the county by car our first night of arrival. We definitely saw sights we would have missed if it wasn’t for Arun. We took the ferry to Dublin for the day, coming back after midnight. Arun was waiting for us as we arrived and drove us to his home so we would not have to walk. The room and bathroom were amazing. Best shower ever! The bed was VERY comfortable! The snacks were an unexpected surprise! We also had access to the elegant dining area and living room with a Piano. Bringing my music just in case was well worth the extra weight! The location was fantastic - close to the coastal walk, eating establishments and shops. Arun was so amazing that he even guided us where to go. Meeting Arun, and our end of the day conversations was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Holyhead, and we give them our highest recommendation without hesitation. We will definitively be back and would not want to stay anywhere else. We not only had a great stay, we made a new friend...

The caravan is sited in a rural area just outside the village of Llanfachraeth. It is set in a large private garden that has been partitioned off to provide independent access and is completely enclosed to provide a safe area for children. It has lovely views of the countryside. The caravan has 3 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom 2 twin bedrooms. A cot (which replaces one of the single beds) and highchair are available on request. All bed linen is supplied but bring own towels.
Static caravan sleeps up to 6.
Quiet rural area, plenty of fields around to enjoy the country feel.
  • Fab hosts... fab destination and communication was fabulous only let down was condiments for sugar tea and a decent coffee but all brought in a local shop not far away we will be back !!

  • The photos don't do this caravan justice. It's tucked away and very quiet. It's spacious and extremely clean. We were provided with radiators and there is a gas fire so the fact that there is no heating wasn't a problem. Lots to do within a short driving distance. Lovely little place.

    Liz2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely, clean and comfortable caravan. Great place just to get away from it all. Host very helpful, friendly and quick to reply. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

  • Excellent place to stay. What I really loved about this place is that it is very private, you have a private entrance gate and a private garden area, it feel's like you are staying in your own private property with your own private land, this makes it stand out from any of the others I have stayed in, also it is very clean, well equipped, cosy and tranquil, it has amazing view's and a lovely host. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • Such a lovely house, really spacious with two en-suite double rooms and a large twin room all with incredible views of either the sea or the winding roads of church bay. The farmhouse is in a great location, it’s a 10 minute walk to the bay (if that when using the cut through which is quicker but is quiet a muddy route). It’s a 5 minutes walk to the Lobster Pot which is a favourite of ours. The farmhouse itself has a wonderful cosy feel especially with the huge fire which kept us warm all weekend. And finally the cherry on top was the little stream down a few steps in the back garden, what a lovely space to sit and have a pot of tea listening to the water, very relaxing. Karen was a great host, she was very attentive from the moment I booked and let us check out later on the Sunday so we didn’t have to rush off. Thank you for having us

    Faye2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Church Bay cottage was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. Did not miss anything during our stay as all mod cons were available (Oven, central and underfloor heating, fireplace, WiFi, TV, DVD Player, laundry room etc.). Our host Karen was a super host and responded very quickly to the booking and other information regarding the cottage and surrounding areas. Even though the weather was a dampener we enjoyed the stay in the cottage and its proximity to the beach (5 to 10 minutes leisurely stroll) There were a couple of nearby eateries but we did not use them as we were either out and about or having it in the lovely equipped kitchen. The Bara Brith was a lovely surprise. The cottage is highly recommended and will definitely use the cottage again. Thank you for having us stay at your lovely cottage. Thank you.

  • This house has everything you could need for a perfect break. The house is full of character and charm and all the amenities you could wish for. The host - Karen - was found to be quick to respond to messages and could not do enough to make our stay run smoothly. The location is great for exploring the coast line and easily accessible. We would go back and there I no better recommendation than that

  • Great cottage, with beautiful views over Church Bay. Comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the cake!

  • This was a lovely stay for 4 adults and 1 dog - plenty of room for us all. Enclosed garden was great too. The location was fabulous, with only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There was a cafe at the beach, but I wouldn’t rely on it! We mainly brought our own food and the house had great facilities to cook etc! Nearest shop was a car ride away. The host was great and answered any questions we had.

  • Our stay was simply amazing! I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone. The property was a perfect size for our group of 9 (which included 3 children), we had so much space in every room and we were not cramped at all. The location is really well placed in Angelsey, making is close to a lot of attractions. It’s lovely to have stayed somewhere close to so many beautiful beaches and coves to explore. The bedrooms all had very comfy beds and plenty of storage too. I was really surprised to find that each bedroom had a lot of general floor space , which was super helpful with the children. The property has 2 large bathrooms both with showers and baths inside. The baths are both really deep and showers are medium pressure (which is rare in Wales we find!!). There is also a 3rd toilet too in the garage/playroom, again this was great for a large group. The games room was a real hit with the children (and adults too) with lots of different types of toys, puzzle and games inside. It also has a table tennis/ pool table inside which was fab. Outside the garden had lots of things for the children to enjoy. Our son, who is 2, particularly enjoyed the “little tykes car” and swings. At nighttime there is very little light pollution, making star gazing so beautiful! Although there are neighbouring houses, we didn’t hear any noise from either side. The only noises to be heard were general countryside sounds, like the odd tractor or cow mooing....but that only adds to the charm. The field alongside the garden even had cows in for a few days which the children loved... again adding to the charm this place has to offer! As a host, Lisa is just amazing! I have never known a host to be so helpful or quick to respond to queries. It’s clear she and her family take great pride in the property and make a lot of effort to ensure it’s ready for guests. Thank you so much Lisa and family for helping make our holiday so special!

    Siobhan2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lots of space for the children to run around, and they loved the toys in the garage. Very clean and also close to a gorgeous beach (Church Bay). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. Thank you Lisa!

  • The property is very clean, and larger in life. Wonderful quiet location with 3 major supermarkets within a picturesque 20 mins drive. Many bays/ beaches to choose from ranging from sandy to pebbles. Games room a nice touch. First class beds and bedding. Clean fresh towels. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

    Della2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This house exceeded our expectations both inside and out. The house itself is huge, clean, comfortable and well equipt. This house is perfect for families with small children. Lisa provides stair-gates, cots, high chairs, toys and there is even baby carriers for hiking. The laundry facilities were a godsend. The fully stocked playroom and large garden with swings were a real highlight for my children (and dog) and kept them entertained when we’re weren’t out exploring the beautiful surrounding bays. The location is beautiful and quiet. Lisa was very responsive and approachable and provided lots of local info. Highly recommended.

They are very friendly people! The guesthouse itself is small but rooms have ensuite, modern and clean bathrooms, TV with a Netflix connection, and a kettle for tea/coffee. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a choice between the continental, or you can pay to have a heartier meal! The breakfast was excellent, with many options. I had the continental for £5. It included cereal, English muffins, tea, and other options. Sweet little dining room. I took a long walk along the sea; it was lovely. The town of Holyhead is a beauty. I had a great lunch at the Beach House next door. Phil was an excellent, congenial host who seemed genuinely interested in making my stay a good one.

  • Lovely house felt very much at home not like a holiday rental, very well equipped and super clean. Great location near an empty beach and easy to get to others by car. The views from the windows were stunning and weather permitting good outdoor space with chairs and BBQ. Everything is as described no unpleasant surprises. Anglesey is beautiful and at this time of year most places of interest we visited were quiet and wild. Would definitely stay again.

  • Fantastic place to stay and very close to beach. Lovely walks in surrounding area. Great hosts. We will be returning

  • We loved staying a Pen y Graig. Church bay is a lovely beach and the Lobster Pot is well worth a visit. The house has lots of traditional features and a log burner for chilly evenings. The sea view from the house is beautiful. We’d defiantly go back.

  • This is the most amazing house with every and more you could wish for. Views are stunning. Victoria and mark are fabulous hosts and could not do enough for us

    Carol2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • An elegant house in a great location (views across the sea to Holyhead Mountain and across the land to Snowdonia); peace and calm; friendly hosts.

    Pete2019-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • VICTORIA AND MARK ARE VERY KIND WELCOMING AND HELPFUL. THE HOUSE IS A LOVELY TRADITIONAL FARM HOUSE AND FEELS VERY AUTHENTIC. A LOVELY PLACE TO STAY.

  • A lovely place to stay in a fantastic setting.

    Catherine2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect get away from it all retreat for my family. Don't come here expecting ultra modern home comforts, you get a lovely back to basics home. My 2 teenage daughters gave in with the phones and tablets and went back to reading and painting and loved it. The house has everything that you need and was clean and tidy on arrival. Mark and Victoria were great as hosts, lovely greeting and then we were left un bothered but there were always there if you needed anything. The area of church bay is quite remote and does lack a small shop but there is one to be found a couple of miles away and there are all the big superstores in Holyhead. There is a lovely pub opposite the house which serves great ales and has wonderful views. The beach is a 5min walk down a quiet lane and has a great little cafe there too. Some fantastic walks right from the door step. Its a great base for all that Anglesey and Snowdonia has to offer and is perfect for chilling out with a glass of wine and switching off from modern life..highly recommended.

  • We had a wonderful couple of nights staying here over NYE 2019. We were met on arrival by Joyce's dog Max, which was great and then Joyce herself, who was lovely. The loft was cosy, well-equipped and Joyce had filled the fridge with breakfast items and a bottle of wine too. If you want some peace and quiet, with a warm welcome on Anglesey, stay here. Thanks again Joyce and blwyddyn Newydd Dda. Best, Chris and Jennifer

  • Joyce was a lovely host. She provided some lovely home made cake and marmalade and the restaurants she recommended were excellent. A lovely , welcoming place to stay to explore the island.

  • We loved the bright and airy loft space which is modern and stylishly finished. The bed is very comfy and we slept well in the quiet and dark rural setting. Joyce and Emlyn are very friendly and hospitable hosts and we will definitely return. Very highly recommended.

  • Wonderful accommodation & lots of ‘thoughtful extras’ like cake and tea-making essentials such as fresh milk & bread. Extremely comfortable super King size bed. Lovely location a short drive to the nearest beach. Close to Holyhead and handy to Anglesey attractions. You won’t want to leave!

    Maia2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is perfect for a few days stay - very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and dinky kitchen ideal for breakfast preparation etc. Joyce was helpful but at the same time we felt like we had our own space ... lovely thank you!

    Sheila2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Granary Loft which is furnished to a very high standard and was very comfortable. Everything was immaculate and Joyce made us very welcome and we appreciated the extra touches for breakfasts and lots of information re places to visit. We highly recommend it.

    Judy2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed in the loft for 2 nights, it was lovely, clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, location was perfect, lovely and quiet, we wanted relaxation but loads to do as well, only 5 minutes from a sandy beach, a 10 minute drive into Treaddur Bay and Rhoscolyn, never far away from anything, Joyce gave us some fabulous tips on the best places to eat etc, and some very thoughtful touches on arrival, felt very welcome. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Situated on the North West coast of Anglesey, this period family home has an unrivaled, elevated sea view spanning from Holyhead Island to the Skerries lighthouse. In an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Moranedd is set in an extensive, enclosed garden. It takes just a few minutes to stroll down the lane to reach beautiful beaches, and to join the Anglesey Coastal Path route. Please check availability calendar carefully. During the summer months min stay is 7 nights with changeover on Sat.
Built in 1900, Moranedd has been tastefully furnished and has retained many of its traditional features. Kitchen - the fully equipped country kitchen is reached via the Boot room. It has a traditional open fireplace, electric hob, double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a large kitchen table and chairs. Outside on the patio is a family sized, bespoke picnic table which is ideal for morning coffee and lunches. Dining Room - the separate dining room has double aspect windows looking out towards the sea . It has a huge oak dining table and is ideal for family mealtimes. Living Room - includes, a wood burning stove, a smart TV, an adjoining children’s/quiet area and an extended sun-room. This sun-room has huge, high windows where you can watch the sea in warm comfort either on the rattan sofa and chairs or just lounging on the window seat. A sun-porch at the front of the house is an enclosed, secluded space, the ideal place to watch the sun setting at the end of the day. Ground floor bedroom - popular with our older guests, who prefer not to use the staircase, is the ground floor twin bedroom with French patio doors and an en-suite bathroom. First Floor - 4 spacious bedrooms: 2 king size bedrooms and 2 twin bed rooms all with amazing, uninterrupted rural views. There is also a family shower room. High speed WiFi throughout. A fenced in pond has recently been developed in the field adjoining the garden. A work in progress project, this will eventually become a wild flower meadow and a natural habitat for local wildlife. There is ample room for children to be able to explore, run freely and play ball games such as football or cricket. The driveway is large enough for several cars, boat-trailers etc. Please note that Moranedd is a pet free zone. No Stag/Hen parties (or similar) accepted.
There are amazing local coastal walks along the rugged coastline. Church Bay is a short walk away for lovely refreshments at the Wavecrest Café or the Lobster Pot restaurant. A village shop is available in Llanfaethlu with further shops in nearby Cemaes Bay, Valley and Holyhead.
  • The house is beautiful, has amazing views and a gorgeous garden. It’s very well equipped and furnished. Was lovely and warm on such a windy weekend. It was perfect for our family getaway.

  • A wonderful house for getting together with friends and family. Everything thought of, clean, comfortable and outstanding views and location. Curling up on large window seat watching the ever changing skies is memorable. A truly perfect place to stay.

  • We would never tire of the view from this wonderful house! It was everything we hoped it would be- and more. Cosy, comfortable, stylish and clean.

  • Morranedd is an amazing place to spend time,as we did, with our family of adults and children. It is spacious well equipped and enjoys great views of the sea and across to Holyhead. Because if it’s location it’s a great idea to have shopping delivered so you have everything you need without needing to leave this lovely house! We spent much of our time looking out from the delightful sun room across the beautiful spacious garden to the sea. Thanks Lisa for great communications we hope to return

    Norma2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We needed somewhere large enough for a family trip and this seemed to fit the bill. When we got there we were all blown away by the incredible views - on the last day, we just sat in the sun lounge area and chatted whilst watching the ships come and go. A great place to get away from the city and spend some quality time with loved ones. Tons of space - we barely used most of the house - the kitchen is well equipped and was a great place to eat, drink and reminisce. We will definitely look at this place next time we visit Anglesey and looking through the guest book, it wasn't a surprise to see many repeat visitors. The hosts were fantastic - great communication, highly recommended.

    Farm house
Basically a farm house with no near neighbour.
  • Big house, very private (house is in the middle of nowhere), furniture is bit dated, but suits a visit to north Wales, electrical shower. If you’re not used to that, it’s a bit strange. Full kitchen, appreciated the milk and Welsh cakes, as the leftover groceries from previous guests. (Go shopping after you’ve checked in 😉.

    Yvonne2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great (so long as you are happy with being remote without any immediate neighbours which we are). It is an old farmhouse and this means that it is bigger than usual AirBnB, so a family is not living in each other's pockets. The space has plenty of character, a fitted kitchen with everything you might need and a spacious garden. Holyhead is just ten minutes away with the usual supermarkets. However I did try and use local shops and found the local butchers in Bodedern to be superb.

    Andy2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you prefer somewhere quiet and secluded this is the place. Lovely house with lots of character. Would highly recommend staying here and if visiting Anglesey again in the future this is the first place I'll check.

  • Lovely house in a brilliant location to explore Anglesey. Great garden to play in for children or just to sit outside. We were impressed with the selection of cereals the host laid out for breakfast. We would definitely stay again

One of two delightful shepherds huts set in a 5 acre working smallholding with fabulous views over open countryside towards Snowdonia. This hut, Bryn, which means hill in Welsh, has a fixed kingsize bed.
You can park your car and take a short walk down the hill to the hut! To get Bryn into position with a good view, we created a bank for it to sit on. This does mean that there is a steep slope just outside the hut – so you’re welcome to use a flat clearing on top of the hill where you will find a picnic table. Wellies are advised!
  • lovely view and space, feels cozy and stylish

    Katy2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous, well equipped and clean place. The hosts make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Their home-made bread is a brilliant touch. We had an amazing weekend - thank you.

    Danielle2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nick has put together a fantastic little hut with everything you need in it and more. Extremely comfy and homely with a hot shower, cosy bed and compact little kitchen. The Bryn hut is nicely secluded with a few sheep to keep you company around the fire pit. We had a great time exploring the island of Anglesey and relaxing in the hut for a very reasonable price.

    Jp2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy, perfectly presented and stylish little hut. Nick was a great host from the start and very communicative. We were greeted with a freshly baked loaf of bread and some eggs from the chickens which were both. delicious! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were greeted with a lovely card and some G+T ingredients which was such a special touch.

    Dominique2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second trip to the hut and we enjoyed it just as much as the first.. cosy, lovely views (especially sunrise) and all the equipment you need.

    Julia2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • One week in Nick's sherperds hut was a gorgeous experience. The cosy hut is lovely decorated and provides all you need, even for a longer stay. It's located near Nick's cottage, but has full privacy. The wonderful views over the Welsh countryside with its meadows, hedgerows and mountains were a daily enjoyment. If you want to explore Anglesey's beauty and its heritage, "Bryn" is the perfect lodging for people who are looking for a quiet and extraordinary location amidst impressive nature. Even getting to Snowdonia is only a short car ride. Thank you, Nick and Suzy, for this unforgettable week in your lovely hut.

    Christian2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Throughly enjoyed staying in the little shepherds hut, it contained everything we needed and I would recommend to anyone. was very cosy set in a quiet peaceful location.

    Patricia2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our weekend stay in the hut. We received a warm welcome from Nick when we arrived. Everything has been carefully thought out. The hut has all that you need and it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast pack was delicious, especially the freshly baked bread. There are amazing views of snowdonia in the peace and quiet. We didn't hear a thing from the dairy farm nearby. I am already missing Speckle the Hen going for her morning stroll around the hut :) We are looking forward to booking again soon!

The caravan is your personal space, the garden is shared. However, you may be sharing it with a couple of hungry chickens, who tap on the door for tit bits or at the right time of year, an orphan bottle fed lamb or two. There is loads of room to park, for children to play and let off steam and BBQ’s are never a problem!
We are a five minute drive away from Cemaes Bay which has a butchers, general store, chemist and a very good chip shop Supermarkets are within easy reach and directions are in each caravan Anglesey has lots of attractions and things to do. Castles, beaches, car boot sales - whatever you fancy.
  • Nice large caravan in the owner's large back garden .... the owner was friendly and helpful and we were left to our own devices with a promise of help from the owner should the need arise .... we had a very pleasant and un-interrupted stay
