Rewind. Recharge. Unplug. Picturesque lakeside lodges nestled in the Welsh countryside. Wake up to panoramic views overlooking the lake, enjoy some breakfast on the decking watching the feeding fish or letting the world go by before setting about your day, its the perfect spot for fishing, walking, cycling, sightseeing or shopping! After after a hectic day retire to the hot tub for some R & R and watch the sun go down! Only 15 mins from City Centre, Cardiff Bay
Great for couples looking to relax and explore, great walks, pubs, cycle paths and local attractions
We are based in the welsh countryside surrounded by arable farmland, there are stunning walks, rides and we're just 10-15mins from cardiff citty centre. Within walking distance is the Cefn Mably Arms a lovely country pub and the Maenllwyd Inn a cracking gastro pub
  • The lodge on the lake is ideal for a couples getaway. We had enough space to store our luggage, and the pull out bed was easy to use and a great use of space. The hot tub is fantastic and we spent most of the weekend bubbling away. Even when it was colder at night outside it was still worth the short dash to the hot tub! The wifi was excellent and meant we could use netflix with ease. There is a handbook which tells you how to use everything and includes some local activities. We would happily stay here again!

  • Owen's place was great - the hot tub was a particular highlight, even in the windy weather of Storm Ciara!

  • Quiet little hut with hot tub by a small lake with beautiful view - perfect for relaxation! Recommended!

  • My partner and I had such a lovely long weekend here! Needed a relaxing break to escape the real world for a little bit and this was the perfect place. Hot tub was great and the cooking facilities were perfect, cooked some steak which we brought from the farm shop which is 2 minutes up the road! No oven but not an issue to us! Remote area which is ideal! We have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

  • The cabin on the lake is wonderful setting, off the beaten track but not feeling remote. Excellent wi-fi, hot tub was amazing and my only negative was that there is no oven!

    Samantha2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lodge on the lake was very peaceful just what you need for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was very clean and to our expectations. It had all the cooking facilities you need to cook with. There is a small cooker/hob and a microwave. The shop is a little pricey so do a small shop before hand. Would definatley recommend staying here and I'm sure well be back.

  • Whatever you think to expect from this pod, it will impress you - great facilities, great location, and you'll have a great long weekend, whether you just want to stay cosy to read/write/indulge in beautiful quiet surroundings, or pootle into Caerphilly or Cardiff to explore the castles and other delights of this area of Wales. Genuinely couldn't have had a better weekend and would heartily recommend this place to anyone.

    Lee2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a ‘has to be seen to be believed’ holiday, cleaner than you’d expect, the hot tub was bubbling away invitingly on arrival and the scenery is breathtaking, without a doubt one of the most relaxing weekends we have had. Highly recommended

In response to UK Government advice we have liaised with guests to cancel all leisure stays during April 2020 to ensure we limit the spread of coronavirus, protect our community and observe travel restrictions. During April we are happy to host healthcare professionals, or key workers connected to the coronavirus response who still need accommodation away from home during this difficult time. For the period ahead we have turned off 'instant book' so we can liaise with guests prior to booking.
*** Search for “Dreamy hot tub cottages near Bristol” on the web to read a review of our Coach House in the Bristol Post.*** Newly renovated in 2018, the detached Coach House is located in a quiet residential area of Weston super Mare - just a short walk away from the restaurants of the town centre and seafront attractions. The Coach House offers a high standard of accommodation, its own hot tub, locally sourced continental breakfast, private garden, super-fast WiFi and off road parking. The accommodation has been specially created with relaxation and privacy in mind. The Coach House is a newly converted former 18th century stable building, believed to be once used by a developer building houses on Weston’s hillside. The amazing interior space includes a large bedroom with a king size bed that overlooks a hot tub and garden. The decor is modern with a touch of seaside chic and practical touches to hopefully make your stay feel like a home from home. Downstairs is a kitchen equipped with Bosch oven and hob, dishwasher and everything you need to prepare meals if you choose to eat in. Basic kitchen ingredients like spices, oils, tea and coffee are provided. The lounge includes a dining area and large sofa with a 48” Smart TV with Netflix account - blankets are provided for evenings where you wish to cosy in and watch the latest box sets or films . A selection of board games, the tide times and books containing local history and photography are provided. A Bose Bluetooth speaker is provided so you can listen to music. Outside is a private sunny garden with two seating areas. To the side of the property is a new hydrotherapy jacuzzi. Seating up to five, it is perfect to invigorate aching muscles after a long day and enjoy a glass of something cool in the warm water - which maintains a constant temperature 38 degrees. Breakfast Guests are provided with a breakfast that includes locally sourced free range eggs, Danish pastries, fresh bread, musli, fruit and milk. Local sausages and bacon can be provided for a small charge upon request to create a traditional West country cooked breakfast.
Steeped with Victorian history and dominated by a fabulous beach, Weston is a great place to explore and get to know. It has several long golden sandy beaches and is home to the Grand Pier, the Playhouse Theatre, a bustling high street and independent shopping areas, two golf courses and a growing arts and music scene. The former Tropicana Lido, which hosted Banksy's Dismaland in the summer of 2015, now has a modern cafe, its own programme of theatre events and is an all-round entertainment space hosting concerts and festivals. The Beach Lawns host some fantastic annual events including Weston Air Festival & Armed Forces Day, Weston Beach Race and Weston Carnival. The new dolphin square complex opened in 2018 and houses new restaurants including Pizza Express, Nando’s, 7Bone Burger Co. as well as a new Cineworld.
  • Had a brilliant stay, enjoyed the hot tub and amenities were great!

    Katie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place for two, great breakfast pack left, comfortable and warm. We never used the hot tub but it looked nice and private. Great Communication , would recommend.

  • The Coach House was the most beautiful AirBnB we have stayed in. The finishing touches to the property and the extras on arrival really made our trip special! Joy and her lovely daughter popped down to show us the hot tub which was lovely, and the arrival instructions were above and beyond anything we have experienced before. Would 100% recommend staying here to all friends and family, and would love to return ourselves! Thank you so much!

    Rosie2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The place is amazing. Hot tub works perfectly and you can connect your phone to the build in speakers to make a lovely atmosphere. Everything you need for romantic stay or relaxing time with you friends (hot tab has 4 seats over all). The apartment is great as well: warm, cosy, clean and comfy. Highly recommended.

  • This place is a gem! Lovely little house with everything you’d need. The personal touches are lovely. We loved the hot tub, Thankyou!!

    Tammi2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Coach House is a perfect retreat for two people. Tom and Joy are friendly and welcoming. The whole house was very clean and they provided a few extras that we didn’t expect, like milk butter and bread, so we didn’t have to rush off to the shop before making a cup of tea! I would deffo recommend this place if you wanted a romantic few nights away. The hot tub was amazing! We have returned home very relaxed! Thank you both.

    Laura2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect valentines surprise! We had a wonderful stay, we spent two days in due to Storm Dennis, but the Coach House had everything we needed for well needed break. The hot tub is amazing, and the little touches throughout the Airbnb are so thoughtful. The hosts really have thought of everything! I’m usually sceptical when Airbnb’s are reviewed so well, but I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely be returning!

There is a bus stop a short walk away with direct links into Bristol city centre / bus / rail links.
The Barn is open plan and is only two years old. It has a king size oak framed bed. There is a bathroom with a walk in wet room / shower. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge / freezer. The Barn has Sky tv including all sports and cinema channels accessible on a 120” cinema and surround sound. There is Netflix and an Amazon firestick and also a large collection of dvds. Outside there is a large decking area overlooking open fields with a private hot tub. • Couldn’t recommend this converted barn enough, so lovely! All the little added touches we’re so nice. Being at the entrance of the woods is the best too as you can go for lovely walks there. There’s so many things you can do around the area. Photos don’t do this place enough justice, honestly so nice. Me and my partner will definitely be returning.

A rare opportunity to stay in a huge first floor period apartment in one of England's most beautiful cities. Beautifully restored by us and with easy access to the city centre and countryside beyond. Free on-street parking and a space saved for you on request.
    Ready
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: We are open and able to offer the perfect place for social distancing, working from home or just different 4 walls. Rates are reduced and any cancellations are offered free to NHS front line staff. As we offer an entirely private apartment we are still able to offer a beautiful but rather different experience. Whether your holiday was cancelled or you wish to self isolate or work from another location or just sick of the same four walls. We can offer a car to apartment welcome and will greet you personally with a smile not a hand shake. Myself and Daniel clean and maintain the apartment personally to the highest standards and we use antibacterial treatments on all surface, particularly regularly touched areas. We are also laundering linen and towels at a high temperature of 90c. Hand wash is provided as always The apartment has Netflix/Tv and fast broadband suitable working from home or just play. The kitchen has all you need and a supermarket is literally 5 mins walk away. If you decide to venture out on foot, beautiful and quiet countryside and canal walks are just 5 mins away As we speak Bath and attractions and most restaurants and pubs remain open and should be lovely and quiet for once. This may change but the delivery services in Bath will happily bring the best local restaurant to your door. (We have an intercom so can be left at the door)
  • The flat is gorgeous. It’s bright & airy and well equipped. It’s only a short walk from nice restaurants and is well located for exploring the sights of Bath. Daniel was very friendly & helpful & met us on arrival and showed us around. Thank you Daniel! We will be back!

  • Great apartment, well looked after and stocked with everyone you’ll need. Lovely comfortable couple of nights in Bath

    Mike2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel and Anna's place is a perfect place for a base to explore Bath. Daniel met us upon check-in and showed us round the beautiful stylish house. Breakfast Infront of those massive windows was a great start to each day. Would stay again :)

    Michael2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you're lucky enough to find it available, book it! Communication was perfect, Daniel is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The flat is simply perfect and spotless. Shower is great, bed is comfortable, living room incredible. We had parking and they even let us park after our booking was over. We were late to free up the parking space but Daniel being a great dude was understanding. The flat is close to everything (15 min walk to center) and there are great pubs around. The view is amazing. Possibly the best Airbnb experience we had so far and we've been using it for 4 years. Book it now!

    Victor2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel and Anna's apartment is a stunning space! It's in a great location well tucked away from the crowdedness of the town centre, situated in a lovely local neighbourhood with easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and also the more secluded areas. We enjoyed walking everywhere from here and waking up to the spectacular view over the fields everyday. The apartment has wonderful period features, natural light throughout and is spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you could need and is decorated with many thoughtful touches. The hospitality was exceptional - we felt so welcomed and enjoyed having great chats with Daniel. All the local tips made our stay even more memorable! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and special getaway to Bath.

    Faaria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was just as lovely as the pictures suggested and Daniel and Anna provided much appreciated additional details including reserving a parking spot, and that amazing bread - thanks!! It's a brilliant starting point to explore all Bath has to offer and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the city centre each morning and afternoon, getting to know the area. It's a beautiful city, even in the stormy rain(!), and we are really looking forward to staying here again in the future and perhaps walking into the countryside as Daniel suggested. We would heartily recommend staying here!

    Sophie2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment set in an ideal location. Daniel and Anna were great hosts with lots of local knowledge. Would definitely return to Bath and stay here again.

  • We spent 3 nights here for my mother in laws 70th birthday celebrations. We were a party of 9 in the end. It was the perfect setting. The grounds and castle are beautiful. All Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Only problem we had which was our fault, was 2 family members are disabled. One stayed in the downstairs bedroom. Other in the clock house as neither of them could managed going upstairs due to it being a spiral iron staircase. The clock house shower wasn’t suitable for the family member staying there as they needed a walk in shower. So it meant they had to come inside and share the downstairs shower also which was fine. But worth mentioning to any further guests that may have more than one disabled person in their party. We all will strongly recommend this property. Claire and Adrian very helpful when asking about outside catering companies. Which we didn’t end up using as it was really easy getting a Tesco’s delivery to the property. Check in and directions were excellent. This was a stress free few days away. We would all love to return in the future and can imagine how lovely it would be in the summer months.

    Lisa2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as stated, this is a great, characterful place to stay with wonderful hosts that respond quickly to communication.

    Jamie2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous place. Good facilities for catering. Great open relaxation areas. Function but beautiful bedrooms. House lovely and warm. Clock house great for any guests that can’t manage the stairs and nicer than described. Loads of room for parking and grounds would be lovely in dry weather. Great, unique quirky place.

    Deb2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Firstly, the photos on air bnb do not do the castle justice. It is simply a stunning place that feels so authentic. The grounds surrounding the castle are also fantastic and given we had the right weather, a lot of time would have been spent outside in the massive gardens utilising the bbq they have. The dining room was a personal favourite of mine and if we didn’t want to cook there was 20+ places that delivered to the castle on Just Eat. (Nacho cheese was an excellent takeaway) Adrian and Claire were lovely hosts and got back to me so quickly about any queries I had during the week. I can’t fault anything during my stay at longs park castle. I’d previously seen some reviews that made me a tad bit skeptical of the place prior to my arrival but I don’t know why I was worried because as I said, I couldn’t fault the place. Myself and friends had a brilliant break and will definitely be returning in the summer at some point. Thank you Claire & Adrian! ☺️

    Luke2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t give this place enough stars. The communication with hosts Claire and Adrian before our stay was wonderful. We were given extremely detailed instructions about the check in and using the house generally. Although the check in did not require meeting them, they responded to our messages within minutes from check in to check out. We visited as a group of friends having a university reunion and the castle is just the perfect place for this type of event. The novelty factor of staying in a castle, complete with coats of armour and four poster beds was amazing. Although it must be an old building, it was extremely warm (the hosts sent very clear instructions about the hot water and heating) and the hot water worked for all of us. Lots of the rooms are en-suites and there are a few standalone toilets/bathrooms as well. The beds were comfy with very clean bed linen and towels provided. The only thing to be aware of is that there is capacity in the main house for ten people and the remaining beds are in an outhouse which has two doubles and two Z beds. The outhouse was absolutely fine but not as nice as the main house. Worth bearing in mind when planning sleeping arrangements. All in all, I can’t recommend the place more. Huge amounts of fun and lovely hosts.

    Emily2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A truly magical place for adults and children. We loved eating meals at the large dining space and enjoying wine together. It rained quite a bit whilst we were there but still plenty to do and space within the house and separate games room. The downstairs bedroom was perfect to put our three year old down to sleep on the evening before transferring him up to bed with us later on as it’s right next to main living area. Elderly may struggle with stair case, however double bedroom downstairs and toilet and shower plus the lovely annex which is perfect for older people again with own kitchen and bathroom. Washing machine meant we could wash wet clothes and space to dry them. In between showers driveway which was safe and enclosed meant we could enjoy ball games and not get muddy. Kids loved climbing the fallen tree by the play area. We took some amazing photos both inside and out. A great place to stay for all ages. Supermarkets and town of Trowbridge only 9 min drive. Nature reserve - we had a lovely walk. On way home we stopped off at Bradford on Avon which again was beautiful. Thank you Adrian and Claire our half term break was magical.

    Katie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely amazing and gorgeous location suitable for a larger family looking for a special location, hen du, stag du and special group events. The rooms are more spacious than you think and the beds are very comfortable. The location itself has a lot to offer with facilities such as the games hut and one thing we were not expecting was the sheer space to park vehicles - 7 cars fit comfortably there! We hired for a hen du and stayed when Storm Dennis hit! It created a unique atmosphere that we cozied down with as it affected our original plan to spend most of the day in Bath (close to the venue). Whilst we still went in we did in fact spend most of our time at the Castle playing group games and getting cozy. Due to the storm we experienced a few issues as a group that were unavoidable (no one can control the weather after all!) The hosts answered when called and were very happy to help with the various issues storm Dennis had thrown our way and swiftly responded which is what you want from a host! General good to know notes: The venue is closer to the road than first thought, and the gate opens into a spacious car Park. Definitely bring slippers or indoor shoes as the stair cases leading to the upper rooms are metal and cold on the feet due to the nature of the building. The venue is close enough to Bath for a visit There's shops within driving distance but take away companies generally either won't deliver or will charge large delivery fees - we just went and collected! Overall a gorgeous location with thoughtful hosts and one that I would love to visit again.

Our private romantic Eco Cabin with compost loo & outdoor shower, lies at the bottom of our large garden and was originally built for our Mum to have her own space, away from the chaos of three children at home and a busy working life. It was built with a deck that over looks the river frome and the local lake. It is the perfect space stay to de-stress. You'll be able to come here, play your favourite music and relax in an incredibly comfy bed before exploring the vibrant city of Bristol.
Our Cosy Cabin has a large double bed with four fluffy pillows and an electric blanket for added warmth. We pre heat the Cabin so that you're as comfy and cosy as you can be from the moment you walk in. The compost loo and hot shower are both situated just outside, in their own huts on the deck. Please come with an open mind, there is a slight chance of spiders. They are not to the liking of everyone and we suggest coming with an open mind. There are slippers available for guests to use when stepping outside to use the facilities. We supply clean towels and shampoo etc. We also provide tea and toast making facilities, you'll find a small trolley filled with various teas, coffee, sugar & jams. We supply cutlery, glassware & mugs for each guest. We want our guests to visit the cabin as a 'get-a-way', to take some time for themselves and enjoy their surroundings so for that reason, we do not have a TV. We do however have free WIFI and a stereo for you to enjoy your own music or tune into the local radio. There are books to read and colouring pens and pencils too. The Cosy Cabin is decorated in our mum's own unique style, she had an eye for antiques and interiors. In the summer guests often open up the doors and lay in the chaise lounge reading a book from Mum's collection. If you're coming for a special occasion, please let us know if there's anything we can do, i.e, cool a bottle of prosecco or leave some rose petals on the bed.
The Cabin is located on the edge of a City Park at the bottom of my large garden, there is a side entrance the door has a key code for security. This is a very safe Neighbourhood, the street is part of a large post war cul-de-sac built to house teachers from the nearby private school. It is a short walk to a small shopping centre and two lively communities with local restaurants and pubs. It is close to two cycle paths, with direct access to pretty walks and historical woodlands, yet still very close to the city. The front of the house is ordinary but the rear is extraordinary (Narnia )
  • Ruby's place is fucking fabulous! I cannot recommend it enough! She goes the extra 100 miles to make it unique and cozy for when you arrive, with truly thoughtful touches that no one else thinks to do. She is thoughtful, creative and caring in her work, she creates a truly luxurious and memorable experience. Cannot recommend enough!

  • Ruby's cabin is absolutely wonderful! Quiet, cosy and quaint. Many quirky touches throughout thanks to her mum's funky design philosophy :) we had a great view over the river frome and the lake, and the lake is only a short walk to get to, and makes a nice stroll. The toilet and shower may not be to everyone's liking but didn't bother us in the slightest, I even had an shower in the evening where various critters were ambling around. We would recommend this lovely place to anyone, and also have to add that Ruby is a wonderful host, extremely accommodating and helpful. Hope you enjoy your stay if you do choose to stay there, we definitely did!

  • Very comfortable and tranquil. Would loved to have experienced sitting outside on a fine evening as it looked inviting but the weather was against us.

    Bridget2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my 8 year old son, my grown up sauger and almost two year old granddaughter stayed for three days this month. Ruby was extremely accommodating and had made up an extra bed for my daughter, the children slept with me in the large bed and there was plenty of room. The cabin was quirky and cosy and had everything we needed, the deck outside, overlooking the river and pond was beautiful, we could hear the dull sound of traffic but the surroundings meant we forgot about it. I especially enjoyed my morning cuppa sitting out on the deck. The outside loo was fine but maybe not to everyone’s taste, the shower (also outside) was not working and so Ruby allowed us to use her house bathroom whenever we needed, and it was much appreciated. We were a short drive from the centre of Bristol which we know well, we didn’t use public transport but I’m sure it is available. We would most certainly stay again, Ruby was friendly and very hospitable. Fresh water for drinks and a kettle with a selection of teas and coffee was available in the cabin. Wonderful little place for a peaceful break away.

The Cotswolds: If you’re looking for somewhere with a surprise round every corner then look no further than the beautiful Cotswolds. Famous for quintessentially English market towns and villages built from honey-coloured stone, the Cotswolds are a range of gently rolling hills and the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England and Wales making them a perfect base for keen walkers and cyclists. Escape the high street and lose yourself in village lanes full to bursting with quirky and independent shops, restaurants and farmers markets or soak up the amazing atmosphere of one of our many festivals and events. You’ll find some of the world’s most famous – and beautiful gardens in the Cotswolds, as well as wildlife parks, castles and stately homes and some of the finest historic buildings and churches in the country. Don’t be put off by our lack of coastline either! We have 40 miles of lakes in the Cotswold Water Park and numerous gently winding streams, canals and waterways criss-crossing the picturesque towns and villages. On the door step: WOODCHESTER PARK - the secret valley: Nestled in the Cotswolds, the secluded valley of Woodchester Park is home to the remains of an 18th- and 19th-century landscape park, a Victorian mansion, a chain of five lakes fringed by woodland and pasture, and an abundance of wildlife. The 19th Century Victorian Gothic Masterpiece was abandoned in mid-construction in 1873. Hidden in a secluded Cotswold valley, it is untouched by time and the modern world. This Grade 1 Listed Building has been saved from dereliction, but will never be completed. Visitors walk through an extraordinary architectural exhibit in which the secrets of the medieval Gothic builders and masons are laid bare. The carvings in Woodchester Mansion are among the finest of their kind in the world. 3 mins drive / 30 mins walk: NAILSWORTH: The artistic, market town of Nailsworth is nestled in a wooded valley in the south Cotswolds. Nailsworth is renowned for its selection of award-winning restaurants, pubs and cafes. Eating out in Nailsworth means you are spoilt for choice. Hobbs House Bakery is famous for being owned by the Fabulous Baker Brothers – Tom and Henry Herbert – and was featured on their TV show. William’s Food Hall has helped turn Nailsworth into a foodie haven. It draws celebrities and foodies through its doors to dine on fresh seafood and local produce. 5 mins drive: MINCHINHAMPTON The delightful, small market town of Minchinhampton sits on the edge of Minchinhampton Common. It's made up of pretty stone cottages, many dating back to the 17th century and medieval wool trade. There is a weekly country market and a good choice of cafes. Minchinhampton was chosen as a scenic location for the recent BBC TV adaptation of J K Rowling’s Casual Vacancy. There are breathtaking panoramic views of the Stroud Valleys from Minchinhampton Common, which sits on the Cotswold escarpment. It is an important archaeological landscape and managed by the National Trust. Rare orchids and butterflies can be spotted along with freely roaming horses and cattle. Please drive carefully over the common and keep an eye out for (URL HIDDEN) of the most famous residents is the Princess Royal who lives at Gatcombe Park on the edge of town. Every year, the famously quirky Giffords Circus takes up residence in Minchinhampton as part of its annual summer tour of the Cotswolds. 15 mins drive: TETBURY: Tetbury is a historic market town that is now internationally famous for its range of antiques shops and dealers. Independent boutique shops sit alongside restaurants that feature in the Michelin Guides. Tetbury attracts everyone from Royalty (Prince Charles and his sons' home, Highgrove, sits less than a mile away) to English countryside lovers, antique-finders, foodies and real ale connoisseurs. 8 min drive: STROUD: In the opposite direction and you will find yourself in the market town of Stroud - Situated below the western escarpment of the Cotswold Hills at the meeting point of the Five Valleys, the town is noted for its steep streets, independent spirit and cafe culture. The Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounds the town, and the Cotswold Way path passes by it to the west. The award winning saturday farmers market IS A MUST! 25 min drive: BIBURY & ARLINGTON Bibury is a charming, typically Cotswold village just a short drive from Cirencester. It’s easy to see why William Morris called Bibury ‘The most beautiful village in England’ – wonderful stone buildings strung out along the banks of the River Coln. Arlington Row, owned by the National Trust, is one of England’s most iconic and photographed sites – it even appears on the inside cover of UK passports! Originally built in the 14th century as a monastic wool store, it was converted in the 17th century into a row of weavers’ cottages. The cottages are now lived in by National Trust tenants, with no public access to the cottages or gardens, although one of them can be rented out as a holiday cottage. The River Coln flows through Bibury sandwiched between the main village street and an expanse of boggy water meadow known as Rack Isle, so called because wool was once hung out to dry there on racks after it had been washed in Arlington Row. With Arlington Row as a backdrop, it makes one of the most picturesque scenes you will find in the Cotswolds. 30 min drive:CHELTENHAM SPA 45 min drive: BATH SPA
  • Victoria and her place are so great. She went above and beyond to accommodate me and ensure I got the most out of my stay. The nearby nature reserve was so tranquil and alive. Truly a beautiful place!

  • Lovely little apartment done up to a very good standard. Very homely and cosy. Fully equipped kitchen which was great as we didn't want to head out for dinner. Was in a good location to a few shops and pubs. Bit of miscommunication with check in, however was sorted quite easily.

  • Victoria's place was very cosy and had everything we needed. Great location and amenities also, would have no reservations recommending her place to anyone. Thanks again!

  • My husband and I were looking for a quiet night away. We came across this place and thought it looked interesting. We were blown by the beautiful location. We also booked a couple's yoga session which was incredible. It gave us 1.5 hours to really connect with each other. Victoria & Dave were amazing hosts. We will be back again without a doubt.

    Lucy2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • A little gem of an apartment. We also had a few of the amazing ‘treatments/sessions’ on offer by Victoria which we found great. Her hospitality adds to the totally relaxing atmosphere. Lots of walks straight from the apartment. Shops, restaurants and bars a few miles away and yet you feel in the middle of nowhere.

A stylish and comfortable one bed flat just off the bustling Gloucester Rd with its great range of independent shops, bars and restaurants close by. We don’t charge extra for cleaning etc. 20 mins walk into town and close to great local, national and international transport links. This is a vibrant central area but a fairly quiet road with everything nearby. Children are welcome but we have no child locks etc. Parking can be difficult during the day but usually OK in the evening and at weekends.
This is a self contained flat with its own front door. We live in the house above so we're very happy to offer any info about the area or what to do. The flat is on the ground floor and has a small paved outside area too. There is one bedroom with a double bed and also a comfy sofa bed in the living room. There is a bathroom with shower and bath and a well equipped kitchen. The road is quiet and free parking is available on the road but it is often difficult to find a space. We use Egyptian cotton bedding and provide basics such as tea and coffee, shampoo etc. If you want more than one bath sheet each please let us know. We are happy to get any shopping you want in advance for payment when you arrive. A fold out bed or travel cot can be provided for children if required. Please let us know when you book. We are happy to accept bookings that are longer than a month but just let us know first. Thanks
The Gloucester Rd is a few steps away and we are lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants and gastro pubs nearby. It is the longest road of independent shops in Europe and has a really good selection including a couple of good supermarkets within 5 mins walk, as well as bakers, butchers, fishmongers, green grocers etc. There are also some great retro, vintage and charity shops. The flat is a short walk away from Gloucester Cricket Club which hosts local, national and international matches. We have a Bannatynes Gym with pool close by with membership available by the day. There is a great blog about all the lovely places to eat locally in the flat too. We can send the link if you'd like to plan!
  • Had a lovely stay at Cath's place. It's a good size for 2 couples for a night or two and has everything you need - even some homemade marmalade in the fridge. Location is also fantastic for shops, cafes, pubs etc. and the price is more reasonable than many other places. Would stay again.

  • Wonderful stay in Bristol. I had a 2 day training course to attend at the Marriott hotel and found the studio to be within very close proximity. Parking wasn't an issue as I arrived after 5pm and was gone before 9am so could park right outside. The studio is simply beautiful and I love the decor. The bed was snuggly and very comfortable, the shower was powerful and with underfloor heating in the bathroom I didn't feel cold at all. I was extremely impressed with the variety of cereals, teas, coffees, hot choc and even little marshmallows! After a full day of travelling and training it was so easy to relax here, I just wished I could have stayed longer. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    Toni2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The studio flat was perfect in every way, a lovely space beautifully done out and space maximised. The location was just a 10 minute walk from the M shed and the river. We will definitely return.

  • Maria was such a great host and responded very quickly when I had a few things I needed help with. I was anxious about staying somewhere on my own for the first time however Maria made me feel at ease and I had a wonderful stay. As a student Paramedic on shift this was a perfect place for me to stay when starting and finishing at all hours, meaning I didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

    Elin2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little place with everything you need! Quick responses from Maria and in an ideal location. Would highly recommend for a visit to Bristol :)

    Megan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend. Great location, was so easy to get into the city centre in about 15 mins. Lots of free parking available. The place itself is gorgeous and cosy. Super clean, very warm (thanks to the dyson fan) and the smart TV with sky/netflix is a really nice touch. A fully kitted out kitchen (including some very yummy bread and wine) meant we didn’t have to bring anything ourselves which was very useful. Maria wasn’t there herself but she was extremely quick with responses. I unfortunately broke a wine glass by accident and she was so so lovely about it. Will definitely be back!

    Ray2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic little space on short notice for such a great price, Maria was very helpful and checking in and out couldn't have been easier. Will be visiting again soon for sure

    Estelle2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • It was a really comfortable place to stay for a few days. Helen was very helpful and the fireplace was a great feature. The only minor thing was the matras which was harder than we are used to, but besides of that we had a great experience!

    Arjen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Helen and Adam were wonderful! Their place was impeccable, perfectly spacious for two and felt so personal! I'd say that I loved staying inside the room more than I liked being outside in Bristol! The fire place offers such a nice touch and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here x Highly recommend!

  • This is a real gem of a place, and excellent value for money - Helen and Andy are lovely and welcoming and the space was incredibly cosy and full of thoughtful touches. A 20 minute walk into the centre and plenty of eateries nearby made it very convenient. We'd love to stay again!

    Ellie2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic use of space. Had everything we needed with nice little touches e.g. fire and Netflix. Location was fab , cheap Uber to basically anywhere we wanted to go. Hosts were inviting and helpful. It was rainy , windy and terrible weather some of the nights and the place was so warm and cosy ! For us it was this or a hotel costing around the same and I cannot recommend this enough

    Jordan2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Helen's place is a fantastic, cosy little place to stay. The annex was beautiful and we both enjoyed a comfortable few days. Communication was brilliant with both hosts with fast replies and the place had everything that you could need. The log burner was a fantastic addition to making the place warm and cosy and the location was perfect with the nearby bus stops. We really appreciated the fresh breakfast items in the mornings too! Walking down the hallway towards the kitchen you have the bathroom on your right with a separate bath and shower, all brand new and modern. The main bedroom is located at the back of the flat overlooking the patio area - we've kept everything minimal and created a calming atmosphere. There's space for clothes in the bedroom, along with hangers in the wardrobe if you want to hang anything up. Parking permits are available on request The kitchen is kitted out with all the mod cons you need - dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove and kettle etc. If you continue through the kitchen you can walk out on to the sun bathed patio right at the back of the property. We've been lucky enough to get a large, south facing patio in Clifton so make the most of it! We've left table and chairs out there for you to enjoy the sun. Parking permits are available on request.
Clifton speaks for itself - the area is gushing with character and you'll never be lost for things to do. The famous Clifton Lido is a stones throw away (visible from the top of the steps!) and the surrounding area is brimming with bars, restaurants and cafes. We will leave a MyQuarter card in the flat which will get you 10% discount at Racks Bar and Kitchen on St Paul's Road!

Our home is within easy access of Bristol city centre (20min walk) & Temple Meads train station (10min walk) or short bus journeys. Close to excellent bars, restaurants, convenience stores and parks, it is a good place for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. The comfortable private room has a beautiful double bed with ensuite shower & toilet. Bedding, towels, toiletries & a simple breakfast of cereal, toast & hot drinks are provided. FREE PARKING IS ALSO INCLUDED.
Private bedroom with ensuite shower room in a three storey Victorian terrace house. The bedroom is equipped with a beautiful new double bed with a foam topped medium-firm pocket sprung mattress which can accommodate one or two people. The ensuite has a walk in shower cubicle, toilet and sink. The bedroom is on the lower ground floor, adjacent to the kitchen which leads onto the garden. Access to the house is on the floor above, at street level. Due to its position in the house there are no windows in the bedroom, however, this makes for a private, cosy and relaxing space to spend the night. I will meet you on arrival to check you in but it is also possible to check yourself in using the lock box if necessary. Late night self check in is charged at £10. The house is located on Firfield Street which is a quiet street off a main road which leads into the city in one direction or out towards Somerset in the other. It is conveniently located for access to Temple Meads train station, the city centre and the airport. It's located close to many shops, bars and restaurants on Wells Road, including Banco Lounge (for a wide selection of food and drink to suit all tastes) and Eat Your Greens (vegan cafe) and has a Tesco Express, Co-Op, and Fox and West deli/greengrocers (selling many whole food, vegan and organic options) all within a 5 minute walk. ****** INCLUDED IN THE BOOKING PRICE: WiFi Bedding and Linen Towels and Flannels Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower Gel and Toilet Roll Breakfast: Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, various Cereal, Bread, various Spreads, including vegan and dairy options. Iron and compact Ironing Board Hairdryer Free on-road parking Travel cot and high chair available on request. Early luggage drop off is available for a small fee. ****** THINGS TO NOTE CAT: We have a small cat called Siouxsie. She is usually very shy so tends to keep out of the way (but those of you with allergies please be aware). KIDS: We also have three young children (who are less shy!). Rufus is 3 and Ted is 6 years old, we also have a baby called Lola. They are all very friendly and love to meet new people. Don't worry though, they sleep on the top floor of the house (2 floors away from guests) and are not in the habit of having midnight parties just yet! Our home tends to wake up around 7am and we eat breakfast in the kitchen next door to the bedroom so please be aware there may be some general family noise in the morning. I hope that's covered most things but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
The Totterdown area of Bristol is a beautiful place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Firfield street is close to all local amenities and really well connected for travel into the city and beyond. The bus stop at the top of our street goes directly to the city centre. Please look at my guidebook for places to visit during your stay or ask me during your stay. We have plenty of cafes and pubs within walking distance offering food and drink to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.

We have a delightful, privately accessed annexe for you to enjoy your stay. It has a double sofa bed and enough room to add an additional single mattress for an extra guest. There is a large TV and a single wardrobe. We provide you with your own kitchenette and breakfast bar consisting of a kettle, toaster and microwave, washer/dryer. We will provide you with all the basics you need for a comfortable stay - tea, coffee, sugar, milk and breakfast bits and bobs and some toiletries.
The Snug is in walking distance of lovely pubs, restaurants, shops and woodland walks and a 15-30 min car or bus journey into central Bristol. If you are staying for work we are situated on the right side of Bristol for the Ministry of Defence, Aerospace, Rolls Royce, The Science Park and UWE to name but a few. Of course we also offer you a stylish and comfortable self contained place to stay.
Downend is a leafy, green affluent suburb on the north east side of Bristol. Downend village, as it’s known, has a collection of shops and services and a number of acclaimed eatery’s and cafes. There is a real feel of community and there are many venues offering community based classes and fitness opportunities. What I love the most is it’s lovely woodlands and walks along the Frome Valley walkway - just opposite The Snug is the entrance to Britannia Woods.
  • Jayne's place was lovely and just perfect for what we needed! Jayne was really helpful and quick to answer any questions we had and also left tea/coffee, snacks and food for breakfast in the snug. We would also really recommend the Beehive Coffee house that is about a 10 minute walk away - had an amazing hot chocolate there! Thanks for having us Jayne! :)

  • I could not recommend this place more. Beautifully welcoming with daffodils on arrival. Definitely made me feel that spring was here. Clean and perfectly presented, everything was easy to find and no difficulty finding anything or a need to go to the local shops. Jayne is accommodating and warm. The Snug feels like a home away from home. Beautifully modern with enough space. The bed was very comfortable too. The bathroom was clean and spacious with towels softer than even lenor can provide. Thank you for a fantastic few days Jayne, you were great as was the Snug and I will be back soon. In fact I have already put another reservation in. See you soon.

  • Great location and super clean rooms

    Emily2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fantastic place to stay, for just a couple of £ more a night, than a shared dorm room in a backpacker hostel I got a lovely little room all to myself. There was a laundry room with free use of a washing machine and tumble dryer plus an iron and an ironing board There was a large kitchen which was cleaned regularly by staff ( although at the time I stayed there was one young guy who insisted on making as much mess as possible and leaving it for others to clean ) But this wasn’t the fault of the property As it is a shared space it is the responsibility of the people staying there to tidy up after themselves I found the WiFi to work extremely well although I know some people higher up in the building we’re having problems with signal strength but you can always sit in the lounge and kitchen and have a strong connection There was also a lounge with tv And you could have mail sent there If you needed The check in process was extremely easy and the ability to extend my stay was a great addition I was overall very happy with my stay and would definitely return if and when I was in Bristol again

  • Everything was great, the landlord respond hastily to your request. There is a dry machine, a wash machine an iron and a nice kitchen. All what we needed.

Casita Paraiso Eco Chalet is one of the UK's first tiny houses. Designed by sculptor/architect Miguel Humbert, it is a romantic little hideaway for one or two. Music venues, cafes, restaurants nearby and the City Farm 20 minutes down the hill in St. Werburghs. It is very central and perfect for exploring all that Bristol has to offer, train 5 minutes away, national coach and busses. We are in the heart of cosmopolitan Montpelier- voted the 'hippest' neighbourhood in UK by TravelSupermarket
Casita provides a perfect space to relax and unwind, whether you're here for work or play. It's a sun-trap, south-facing, with a tall rosebush for shade on the wooden decking and seating. You will need to mount the curved, hand built stairs, to the cozy king sized bed above. Its porthole window comes from the Bristol docks, and some of the design is slightly Rudolf Steiner-ish. It was my son's space for many years, well out of sight and sound of mama for his overnight guests..... The main house has been our family home for over 28 years, so we are well equipped for many things, and events. Our first floor bedroom was the home of Bristol's first ever salsa and lambada dance studio in 1991..
Walking down Picton Street, the first shopping centre of the old city, you will be greeted by local artist Alex Lucas's pink mural "Welcome to Montpelier". There are a number of gorgeous historic buildings nearby. 5 minutes’ walk takes you to St. Werburghs, an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the city. Highlights include the city farm, self-build community ‘The Yard’, numerous allotments, Gaudi-like cafe and local's favourite pub The Farm. 10 minutes’ walk takes you to the organic supermarket and cafe Better Foods. Richmond Road is a particularly special place, with an eclectic mix of residents. We have a home for the learning disabled, people from various religious and ethnic backgrounds, grand colourful Grade 2 listed buildings and Daddy G/Massive Attack's tastefully period home and garden. We came here partly because it reminded us of Ladbroke Grove & Portobello Road- positive and creative people from all over the world. The excellent Cadbury pub is 30 seconds down the hill, a great place to meet friendly residents from our wonderful community. Bristol has been getting quite a reputation for its food scene, and in Montpelier it doesn’t have to break the bank! For eating out your choices are endless - from the timeless Bristolian cafe, to the exotic Thali Cafe and arguably the best pizza in town at Napolita. In the morning you can walk down to Herbert’s, a family-run bakery that you can be easily found by following your nose. If you want to work up an appetite then why not try the Bristol Climbing Centre, a stunning set of climbing and bouldering walls set inside an old church (you can even climb up in to the clock tower!).
  • Very cute space and so comfortable. Anita thinks of all the little things you might need. Loved our stay.

  • Thanks for the wonderful stay. Anita was helpful with places to visit in Bristol and the location was perfect!

    Sofia2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Anita was very communicative and friendly and extremely accomodating. You have to go through the house to reach the airbnb bit and it just felt like I lived there with here and she knew me lol. Good stay and very nice environment. Town is about 15-20 walk and takes you on a journey through lots of places to eat. The tiny house is very cozy and stays warm easily.

    Jamie2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Second time of staying. Beautiful space and in what I think is the best area in Bristol. Thanks again and I am sure I will be back if you’ll have me.

  • Absolutely loved our stay at this tiny house! Went for a couple days with my boyfriend, and it was our first time visiting Bristol. The location was great, away from the Main Street so nice and quiet, but just down the road were some lovely cafe/brunch spots. And down a little further some fun and unique pubs/bars. The tiny house itself was perfect for a couple days. It was a little cold at times, but with the heater on for a little bit, and the extra blankets provided it was easily manageable. The host Anita was lovely, responded quickly to any messages, and helped with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

  • very cosy little chalet in a the most perfect area. Surrounded by cute cafes and a short walk into the centre. X

  • Absolutely gorgeous place, only a 15 minute walk go cabot circus and the samr to the harbour, no Wi-Fi in chalet if that is important to you, we found it fine without

    Jake2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Anita is so friendly and helpful. The 'treehouse', as I kept calling it, was so pretty, cosy and unique. It was like glamping! The location is ideal with Stokes Croft just down the road and the Bristolian cafe is a must - we ate there twice over the long weekend!

You will have access to the communal roof gardens, communal parking and a gym (open 24 hours a day) all included in the price. There is also a secure bike store.

Lovely room in house, in Southville area of Bristol. Only 5 mins walk to the Docks area, and 10-15 mins to the city centre, across the small river. Also, it's 10 mins walk the other way to the North Street area, with its variety of independent shops & cafes etc.
You will find a very comfortable double mattress, a clean room with towels and hairdryer provided. There is a good shower & bath.
The City Centre is an easy walk away. For example, in 7 mins you can be at the M-Shed museum, 10 mins at the Arnolfini Gallery, on the on the docks. A 14 minute walk will take you to the Waterfront area, where there is the Watershed arthouse cinema and many pubs and bars along the harbourside. You can also walk to King St in 15 minutes, where there are lots of historical pubs and bars, and free live music in the evenings. I have listed various places of interest (some bars, restaurants, galleries etc) on my 'Guidebook' function, on the top right of the page here. They are all places that I've been to and recommend for this reason, and are within walking distance around the city. There is a large supermarket only 8 mins walk away, a great local organic deli 10 mins walk away (on North St), and a swimming pool 10 minutes walk away. There are also other local food shops in Bedminister and Southville (quite nearby).
  • As described, great communicator and accommodating. I arrived late and left early, it was no problem for Patrick. 5*

There are large electric velux sky lights with blackout blinds. It is a fantastic light space to relax or work. It has its own private access from the street.

We have a brand new 40 inch smart TV, (with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Freeview, BBC Iplayer) and wifi. It is heated via electric underfloor heating. The bathroom is a lovely space. It has a power shower, sink and loo. It has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. There is also a utility room with sink, toaster and kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a fridge freezer. Please note that we do not have cooking facilities but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby! • Nice place to stay and a bit different - basically exactly as described and in the photos!

  • We booked the TAM as a fairly last minute booking as a birthday weekend stay. The description of the location is accurate and it is situated within a gated community centre with secure locked gate system. The TAM provides everything we needed to just walk in and live for the weekend. We chose the TAM as are very interested in Eco friendly and sustainable living and this didn't disappoint. Even the paint on the walls has been created from natural materials. There is a supermarket only a 5 minute drive away so we were able to cook our own meals with ease. A very comfortable stay in a very clean and unique property.

  • Lovely little place, good location, perfect for a short stay for two.

  • This apartment is located in a beautiful, quiet and leafy road in Clifton. There is parking at the rear of the building, an absolute essential in this area. The apartment block itself is rather plain from the outside (unlike the architecture of the surrounding buildings), but once inside we were extremely impressed with the apartment, which was open-plan, modern, newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Apart from a kettle, toaster and microwave in the kitchen area, there was also an oven and dishwasher. We only stayed for two nights, but for guests staying longer, the washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board would be very useful. A leather two seater settee, plus a small table and two chairs, are provided and the double bed has a comfortable sprung mattress. On the downside, we felt that the bed could have been bigger, and it was pushed up against the wall on one side. There was a large flat screen TV on one wall (we found it a little too high). The bathroom looked shiny and new, and it had a lovely shower. Linens and towels were immaculately clean. The apartment is located within walking distance of a Tesco supermarket, plenty of bus stops and Bristol Zoo, so it is in a great location. Communication from the owner was extremely efficient and courteous. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit this stunning area of Bristol.

  • Great flat. Shortish walk from the city centre.

    Richard2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent - clean, bright and spacious. Layout has been well thought out to maximise the use of the space.

  • A fantastic apartment in a quiet part of Clifton. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a weekend away – the fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. The self-check-in was very smooth, and Urban Creation had good communication throughout. Completely recommend it, and hope to stay again in the future!

    Andrew2019-07-01T00:00:00Z

    Luke2019-06-27T00:00:00Z

  • Great value for money for a clean, well decorated apartment in a perfect location. Paul's communication and advice was a wonderful bonus. Would 100% recommend. There was a bit of noise inside the building late at night but we didn't think it was an issue.

  • I stayed for one month and will fully recommend this room. It's small but warm and comfortable with complete facilities, and excellent location for uwe. Mr. Chris is gentle and polite, and always ready to provide help. I am very grateful to him for picking me up and helping me with carrying baggages.
