Awesome stay! The kids had an absolute blast. We had no issues during our stay, the owner was lovely and super responsive to any questions we had. The staff at Haruru were also wonderful and welcoming. There are so many activities both on-site and in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely be booking again😊

This place looked just like the photos !! Totally recommend this place !! With the spectacular view to wake up to every morning peaceful and relaxing setting surrounded by bush. House was ammaculate and beds were very comfy. House was beautifully furnished ! My kids thoroughly enjoyed chilling in the pool. Had everything we wanted and more for our 3 night stay. If looking for somewhere to dine out in town definitely recommend Bad Habits !!! The food was amazing music vibe and atmosphere was a 10/10 from us !!! Thanks again John for having me and my family stay would love to come back again if in the area in the future

This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

A very clean modern comfortable base within walking distance of everything in Russell. Great for a family or a number of couples.

The cottage has a gorgeous view - such a treat to wake up to it every morning. Really spacious and ideal for a couple. Short drive away from some amazing beaches. Thank you, Kathy!

Peaceful and beautiful place, when you wake up in the morning, you'll see the green grass, some cows and lots of sheeps. Reasonable distance to Paihia

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

Gorgeous location with a fabulous view and a deck to enjoy it. A Four Square nearby and a few restaurants (an excellent Indian place in Kaeo). We had a fantastic stay over the long weekend

I stayed here a few days after my wedding with my husband, 2 small children, parents and siblings. The house was amazing, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. The place was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked and Kirsty communicated really well. She even left us a card and bottle of cava to celebrate our wedding! It was private but a 3 min drive to central Russell. The driveway was steep but easily fit our 4 cars. We cannot fault our stay at all and I would definitely stay here again. We saw fantails, Tuis and weka and the garden was beautiful.

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home just a short drive from central Kerikeri. The house is spotless, modern, and perfectly set up with everything you need. The views are stunning, and the space feels peaceful and private. The kitchen was a highlight - well equipped with everything you’d need to cook, plus a fantastic coffee machine with plenty of beans (a big bonus!). After a long hike in the area, the deep bath was the perfect way to unwind and ease sore muscles. The host was excellent - super responsive and helpful, especially when we had a question (in a panic when we arrived on a cold day) about the heat pump. Also appreciated the big TV with all the streaming apps ready to go. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and would’ve loved to stay longer. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Kerikeri!

Amazing location with stunning ocean views from every room. The set-up was more spacious than the pictures let on, we were delightfully surprised. Extremely responsive host who went the extra mile to make our honeymoon a wonderful experience. Would stay again!

We were a group of three couples (six people total), so we booked a place with three bedrooms to comfortably accommodate everyone. Sophie’s place turned out to be a great choice — all of us were very satisfied with the stay. One thing I had overlooked before booking was that there is only one bathroom (toilet, shower, and hand washing all in one space), so we had to be mindful of taking turns to avoid overlaps. Also, there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which made it a bit inconvenient when getting ready. It would be even better if mirrors were placed inside the wardrobes or somewhere in the rooms. Only one of the three bedrooms had an oil heater, so the couple staying in that room were a bit envious by the others. ;-) Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we’d be happy to come back the next time we travel to this area.

We loved our 5 night stay here! It has everything you need, super clean, great views, and fab location for exploring Paihia and the top of the north. Michelle’s communication was great and made it an easy and enjoyable stay! Thank you :)

We felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to experience such beauty the peacefulness of the greenery the mountains, and the view from the outside deck ,beautifully set up so well thought out , from the furniture to the spa, that we had the opportunity to see the sunset from,so super special , the photos wow! exceptional, memories for a lifetime. We loved the accomodation it was very welcoming, a well equipped kitchen that we used every night, as it inspired me to cook recipes I had not for years. Wendy thank you for being the perfect host, responsive at all times and very helpful, we really did appreciate your hospitality. We definitely recommend this very calm and relaxing atmosphere and will definitely be back in the future. Once again Wendy thank you we appreciate you! 🙂

Great stay at this beachfront property! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the water, making it easy to enjoy the ocean. The home was clean, well-kept, and had mostly everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were especially great—super comfortable for a restful night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. Overall, a great spot for a beachside getaway. Would definitely stay again!

It's an awesome place with a spectacular view. The house is filled with amenities and all the items one will need for the stay. For us it felt like a home away from a home. A place well built and maintained. Throughly enjoyed it.

I actually don’t want to give this place away….in essence, it was the most relaxing, gorgeous place to surrender to the everyday stresses of life, hot outdoor spa, cosy log fire place, everything we could have asked for. Words cannot even describe this gem of a home Beautiful and well functioning layout with all rooms facing the ocean, open floor planning and top notch equipment everywhere. Furniture is modern, clean and feels like a hotel. The view over Bay of Islands is nothing short of breathtaking. Kip and Lynn and their sweet dog Rosie were amazing hosts and had purchased cheese, crackers and champagne for our arrival. They went out of their way to make us feel at home - which we most certainly did. An amazing place which we will forever be greatfull to have experienced.

A beautiful well maintained home with a magnificent view. It's a special home in an excellent bush location and I highly recommend it for an escape to nature. The kitchen is also very well equipped.
