Seminole Island Gem

We chose this home as a last minute 3 family trip for a softball tournament. The host was very responsive (Lisa) with any questions I had, with instructions for check-in and all the follow-up for check-out and post stay. The kitchen was amazingly stocked (and labeled) with anything we needed to make meals from crockpot, toaster, 2 coffee machines (one Keurig, one 12 cup and we brought both kinds of coffee!) and closets had lots of extra pillows, blankets, towels that were needed. Clear instructions on fridge for check-out, noise curfew, etc was helpful too. The outside firepit was our favorite! If you need charcoal for the grill, a DG is 5 minute drive outside the island. We were really pleased with our stay and are thinking of another family weekend in the fall. Within walking distance to Cranberry Resort with live bands (8-12 on a Friday) and great scenery. Thank you Lisa for being so accommodating and responsive!

Came to the local airport for pilot training at MCA which brought us to Lakeview. The Airbnb far exceeded expectations. It was super nice, clean, and well furnished with great amenities. The owner was super responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend whether you’re coming to town for training at the airport or looking for a nice spot near the lake!

The Farmview Annex

Stephanie was awesome (always immediate feedback) and the place was really nice. Only real drawback was one bathroom for 8 people but we knew that going in. We just had to plan accordingly when it came to showers. Internet wasn't working wgen we got there but they reset it right away and it was fine after that. Kitchen was really well stocked, which is great for us because we like to cook. Good home base for us foe my son's college graduation.
A charming outdoor dining set is positioned on a wooden deck, featuring a glass-top table and six ornate iron chairs. A barbecue grill is visible in the background, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, creating an inviting space for al fresco dining.

The Woodland Hideaway

You won’t find a better place or more responsive hosts. This place is outside town, but still convenient to town and Kiser Lake. The amenities are all first class. Nice towels, nice sheets, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We knew that there was a washer and dryer, so we were even able to pack lighter than a normal trip. The hosts left us well stocked with firewood and we made some yummy s’mores while sitting out and enjoying the quiet of nature. I’m new to having my own Airbnb account and I can only hope to get other hosts as nice and responsive as Scott and Chelle. They had homemade apple crisp and ice cream waiting for us upon our arrival. The apple crisps were still warm! The fridge had farm fresh milk, eggs, coffee creamer and butter. Everything about this place and these hosts exceeded our highest expectations. Now that I’m retiring, we hope to use this place every time we go to Urbana to visit the daughter and granddaughter.
