What an amazing find! The Château is an incredible building and a unique stay here is well worth it. Paul is an attentive and caring host, and he and Marie have added some lovely touches to this wonderful building. Breakfast here is absolutely amazing, and the suite was so spacious and grand, we really felt special. We especially enjoyed the walks around the grounds and down by the river. Giverny is so close and well worth a visit. If you are an artist be sure to contact the Monet Foundation before travel and apply for an artist's ticket for a once in a lifetime experience of painting in the evening. Outstanding holiday and thoroughly recommended.

Rouen is a magnificent city, especially if you like old houses, history and breath taking architecture, nice boutiques and restaurants. Our family, small children, had an amazing time in the old part of the city. Since our children are small, we know we have to spend a certain amount of time in the apartment, so we decided to try Madame Marchands place, cause it had outstanding reviews. We were not disappointed. The apartment was spacious, two nice bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen. And it had all the kitchen facilities, dish-washer and a little room with a washing-machine! But the best part was that the apartment had kept the historical touch, old furnitures, floors, walls, windows etc. Except the bathroom, which was very delicately and modern. Hugh, nice bath-tube. And the views from the apartment is just amazing. Well, to top everything we had a very friendly, helpful host. She gave us a lot of valuable information about Rouen, and even outside of Rouen too. Breakfast(!) was tasteful and in fantastic surroundings inside Madame Benedicte's house. Beautiful city, a really great apartment and a wonderful host. An absolute gem. The apartment was perfectly located to explore Monet country but was also such an unexpectedly comfortable base that we spent so much time relaxing in the beautiful garden by the river. Veronique’s breakfast baskets were also a highlight of our stay. We will definitely be coming back to stay at L’Oree. Thank you Veronique and Frank.

We were very well received . The setting is very soothing and relaxing . The rooms are cozy and very clean . Everything is available , kitchen , towels, board games, trampoline. We were even able to take a walk in the hot tub . Recommended restaurant nearby very nice. Very full and local breakfast. Thank you again for hosting us.

Friendly places and a very friendly host.

The Pope's grocery store is not just a pleasant bed and breakfast with neat decor, it is also a place of conviviality or as Karine and François say, we come the first time as hosts, the second as friends. We can't wait to go back!

The place matches the pictures. It is very comfortably furnished. Breakfast was also very lovingly prepared for us. We'd love to come back. :)

We stayed with Véronique and her husband for an overnight stay on the way. A very likeable and charming couple, very hospitable and concerned about the well-being of the guests. The surrounding area is wonderful, rural and very quiet. We booked the dinner offered and it was very delicious, refined and everything from the region. Absolutely excellent 👍🏻 For us, it was a nice experience to spend an entertaining evening together with a French couple. Breakfast the next morning was also very tasty. Again, all regional products. We highly recommend the accommodation at Véronique and Philippe's and would be happy to come back!

Lucie is a very friendly hostess. Everything is exactly as described. Ideal base for discovering the region (Jardins de Monet, Château de Richard Cœur de Lion).

Nice stay. Very friendly people. They warned us of severe weather that would come and we were allowed to put the car in another, sheltered, place. The weather was indeed very bad. The electricity even went out in the area. They helped us bring lighting for the night. Breakfast was very well taken care of!

Jocelyne went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were able to picnic in her garden on arrival and on the following morning we enjoyed having breakfast with the family. She pointed out a couple of unusual attractions in the area, one of which we visited on departure. It's a good place to stay if you want to avoid Rouen - tucked away but worth seeking out.

This was more than anything we could have hoped for. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. The accommodations were clean, and had everything we needed. The host left us fresh baked bread and pastries every morning from the bakery in town. We had a great time and would be happy to return.

What a pleasure to be hosted by Marylène and Gilles, in a peaceful place in the nature of Pont Audemer. Our living space is charming, we slept very well there.....after an outdoor SPA, the most relaxing. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast with local and natural products. The discussions also continued and Marylène was a very good advisor. Thanks for this short stay that we recommend without moderation.

Lydie’s place was absolutely immaculate. It was hard to believable that we were on a farm as everything was so pristine, neat and beautiful. We had a lovely swim in the 28 degree pool, a meal out in Rouen, and a nice breakfast before our departure in the morning. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was pristine and only for our use. We would have loved to stay for longer to explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the area but we were commuting back home. The only thing I would say was that it was so perfect in presentation that we were a little anxious our busy 5 year old might put something out of place. In addition to this the check in time of 6pm was a little frustrating as it meant were weren’t able to enjoy our time there as much as we would have liked. But this is made clear in the listing and Lydie did offer for us to arrive from 4:30 and make use of the pool. Overall it was a very special place which Lydie has clearly poured her heart into creating. Thank you Lydie.

We were exceptionally welcomed during our stay at your place. You have shown great hospitality, the pool and setting are beautiful. The menu you prepared was delicious, and every moment spent with you was a real pleasure. I highly recommend doing the experience.
