Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rotterdam

We had a lovely long weekend with our 20 year old daughters and our dog. We celebrated a birthday and midsummer and really relaxed. The house was comfortable, clean and offered an relaxing environment. The Sauna, hot tub and She Shed were fan favorites with our family! Highly recommend for a family of 4-6.

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

Great place that was clean, comfortable and cozy. There were excellent instructions for everything and my family loved the hot tub!

I had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend staying here. My mother and I went up for some peace and relaxation and, even raining all weekend, we both immensely enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was beautiful! The screened in porch, skylights, and fire pit made the environment perfect. Chris was extremely responsive on any and all questions I had in regards to what I could expect when getting to the cabin and made sure that everything was laid out clearly for us on arrival so we had very little questions on checking in/out and expectations while there. You are attached to Moose Cabin, and sometimes we could tell people were in the area when someone laughed too hard, but even that close, we never really heard the people next to us and never once saw them though we were outside often. It was definitely affordable and worth the money considering I felt at home with all the personal effects but had a hotel level of cleanliness.

The house perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space to spread out. Had everything we needed. Host was responsive when we needed anything. Will stay there again for sure. Great place.

I stayed for a long weekend with my boyfriend & dog and Mary's place was perfect! The house is very spacious and comfortable and well-stocked. The deck has an amazing view and we loved going in the hot tub after hiking. I would 100% recommend this place and hope that I am able to come back in the future!

This is our second time coming back to this beautiful cabin!! This place is so relaxing and has everything we need. We love the hot tub with the beautiful mountain views. There are many hikes and gorgeous lakes nearby. Not only is the place cozy with an indoor and outdoor fireplace, grill, everything you need provided- the host is also very responsive and helpful. Would clearly stay here again :)

We were in Lenox to attend a reunion for the Lenox School for Boys ( Grad “66” ). The cabin was perfect for our needs especially because we could have our dog with us. Most of our time was spent with activities scheduled for the reunion so we didn’t really get to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the cabin. The guesthouse was so dreamy! We had a wonderful stay, the hosts were super friendly, and we loved meeting their sweet dogs. The house was close to great restaurants and shops in Hudson, Kinderhook, and Ghent, as well as hiking trails. The lovely trail on the property was a great bonus, one we took advantage of 4 times throughout the weekend :). Would definitely visit again!

Awesome place right in the heart of Albany! Very close to restaurants/bars as well as a very large green space - Washington Park. Both are just a half block away. Perfect! Would stay again thanks Sugey

Staying at Will and Aenne's barn house was fun and wholesome. I enjoyed saying hello to the animals and the jungle shower most of all. The barn has everything one needs. Though, I must say I was very intimidated by having to light the chef's stove. We walked from the barn to the waterfall down town which was beautiful--great place to hang out and swim in the warmer months. The village of Kinderhook is adorable with quaint little shops. Hudson city had some of the best food I've had in a long time; I strongly recommend eating at Cafe Mutton. Overall, Will and Aenne were very hands-off hosts--as in, they gave us our space and privacy--while still being responsive and attentive. Thank you for the stay! I hope to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on Saratoga Lake! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the dock—it made fishing right from the property incredibly easy and fun. Vicki and John were wonderful hosts—super responsive and available for any questions we had throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and making more great memories. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront escape in the Saratoga area.

Christopher's place was amazing. The property is absolutely amazing, and the view from the window is stunning. The place is very cozy, comfortable, and feels very spacious for the size. There are several cute small towns near by and plenty of places to go for a hike. Christopher was a great host who gave recommendations and always responded to questions. We would 100% recommend!

Bobby was the ultimate host in every way. I felt so relaxed and comfortable in his home that I extended my stay for another week and have already booked for a future stay. The home is beautiful, full of original art, cozy and perfectly suited for a quiet getaway yet close enough to Hudson, Kinderhook and Catskill. The house gets beautiful morning light and I found it very relaxing having my morning coffee on the sun porch. The flowers and trees were just starting to bloom in the garden - making it the perfect canopy for my guests and I to have an early evening cocktail before heading into town for dinner. Very much looking forward to returning in a few months!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lena’s place. Very quiet, very serene— but close enough to downtown Hudson for when I wanted a night out. The dogs absolutely loved our walks up the long scenic (and completely private) driveway. The cat adored birdwatching from the sliding doors. We will definitely be coming back!

I booked Devra's place on behalf of my parents. Devra was so accommodating to them! They thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Devra's place is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

This is our fifth year coming to the farm. Larissa is absolutely masterful with kids of all ages (even tough kids). My daughter races out at 9 am to do farm chores and begs for more (and this is a kid who drags her feet doing chores at home)!! We love the rhythm of farm and find it really easy to disconnect and unwind. After chores in the morning, you're welcome to spend as much time as you want with the animals, which is a real treat. Whether it's feeding the horses hay, sharing food scraps with the goats, or watching the chickens do their evening routine, there's so much to enjoy. The local towns are lovely, but if you like the farm experience, you may never leave the property. Larissa is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing her experience and expertise. She has created an absolutely magical environment, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

Really just a great weekend! The house was spacious and perfectly accommodated our family. Also perfect distance from town where there is tons to do. Julie was available for questions and was so easy to communicate with. We were in the area to celebrate our son’s college graduation and really could not have selected a more perfect spot!

Perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Andrew & Tracy were fantastic hosts and the home was nice and spacious. A quick drive brought us to downtown Saratoga and the racetracks! We hope to stay again soon.

My friends and I stayed at Olia’s and it was a great time! The view was gorgeous and the property was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub, along with the other amenities. Plus commination was very easy, she was super helpful and we will definitely be coming back.

The house was beautiful and Rhonda was great, she was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home and enjoyed the place more than Lake George :) , the hot tub and pool were great and i would recommend anyone coming to this area to definitely book the place if they get the chance.
