Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Roscommon County

My family and I stayed here for a Memorial weekend. We were able to relax and unwind in the beautiful house and yard. We loved the wood supply for outdoor fires and the kitchen for the ability to cook 2 dinners and all breakfast meals in it. We appreciated the comfort of the house and the quietness of the neighborhood

amazing place to stay! well stocked with kitchen cooking utensils and everything you can think of. the bedrooms were amazing and my kids loved the bunk beds.

We started our stay with a little hiccup. But that was made right in a matter of minutes thanks to Benjamin’s quick and kind response. The house was clean and had ample linens and extra blankets. The coffee maker was a huge relief to see! I was able to prepare our meals with the pots, pans and utensils provided with ease. We are planning a stay in the summer and will be looking for availability here before we try to book anywhere else. The campground was very quiet and easy to access. Definitely a good value for the space my family had to stretch out.

Came to stay at 4 Season Ranch while in town for a golf trip with some friends. The property was everything we were looking for. Very clean upon arrival, inside and out. The backyard was the best part of it all for us. We love to grill, and have fires and we were able to do exactly that with the provided grill and fire wood already on property. The privacy of the property was a very relaxing experience for us. The property is just close enough to the main drag of Houghton Lake which makes grocery and supply runs extremely easy and fast, but also just far enough away that there isn’t a lot of noise from traffic. We loved everything about our stay. Would highly recommend 4 Season Ranch to anyone!

This house absolutely beautiful! My favorite part is the second half of the living room with the big windows. It’s a very quiet area but peaceful if you are looking to just get away from all the noise in the city. Patrick was very nice and responsed quickly if I had any questions!

Absolutely loved our stay! This place had everything we needed! We did have one accident on our part and let the hosts know immediately and they were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this place!!

Great location for kayakers! Pool table, Corn hole set, and fire pit on site provided plenty of other options for recreation. Beds were comfortable. Great area! Lovell Riverside Bar is a great place at the other end of Lovell street.

Michelle is a fantastic host!!! She is very kind and strives to provide a comfortable and beautiful home for guests to stay in. We really enjoyed having the two separate sides of the cottage, and the overall space was awesome for us. It was nice to have both indoor and outdoor seating. The water is so close, and it’s a great neighborhood to walk in. Thank you for the very enjoyable experience!

The Wild Honeybee Haven was great! It was very clean and the hosts thought of everything in advance! We didn’t have to go to the store and buy things that we needed, like we have at so many other Airbnbs’s that we have stayed at. We have a family of five and with two bedrooms there was plenty of room. The kid bedroom bunk beds were huge! It was super clean! The backyard was beautiful with lots of seating and lounging options. The fire pit was nice and there was a large stock of wood. We did not use them but the hosts provided a canoe and two kayaks that could easily be carried to the beach (only a .4 mile walk away). We walked to the beach about 10 times during our stay. It is about 8 minutes drive to the huge south Higgins Lake State Park boat ramp and about 10 mins to the north boat ramp. We used both during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is located in a relatively quiet area. The bed was comfortable, which has been hard to find with an Airbnb. The fenced in back yard was great. There is spot on the fence where there is a gap between the ground and fence. If you have a small dog they may be able to fit underneath. Erin's communication was great and check-in and out were seamless.

Beautiful home on the canal! We were able to park our boat at the house for the weekend and the launch is right down the road. Hosts were always responsive and informative. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful view of the lake. I enjoyed watching the thunderstorm roll in on Friday night. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to an emergency back home. Rosann was very understanding of the situation and credited us for 1 night.

This was such a great option for camping! Calista had the camper set up when we arrived and made sure we knew where everything was…Camper was exactly as described and comfortably slept 4. We would definitely do it again!

Grant's place worked out great for our weekend stay. We were happy that we were able to bring our fur babies with. Grant was very responsive and a good host.

This cabin exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed, plus so much more - we felt right at home. The yard is huge and feels very private. Our family loved playing board/card games & with the outside toys. Nights by the bon fire were extra special because we got to unwind and talk about the adventures from the day. The cabin itself is in a quiet location but is just minutes to everything in the area. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in unit so we didn’t have to take a bag of wet swimsuits and towels home. Deb was always available in case we had a question and was an amazing host.
