We are 1/8th mile from lake st. Helen come swim at carters cove which has a beautiful park and a public beach, there is a public boat launch also. The orv trail head is maybe 1 mile just down airport road. We are about 15 to 20 minutes from west branch of you want to go shopping at tanger outlets or walmart or visit beautiful iron park it has a rolling creek and a beautiful play scape for children. Private up north cottage with large double lot and woods on either side giving excellent privacy and relaxation. Higgins Lake getaway

Our little getaway just under an acre in size offers you plenty of room for tents, boats and toys. 1st floor bedroom has a queen size bed. Bathroom has tub/shower. Loft has full size bed and full size futon. Livingroom has 2 couches and a recliner. Kitchen has full amenities. Air conditioner in 1st floor bedroom, removed in cooler months. This cabin can accommodate 6+ people. Our cabin is a great place to stay if you are coming up for the Fall color tours, hunting, skiing & snowmobiling.

Our adorable Shanty has all the comforts of home and is in the perfect location to spend time in Houghton Lake or head out on a few day trips! We're a block from the lake w/access at the end of the street to put your canoe or kayak in (boat launch is only a mile away!). We have a king size bed and twin-size daybed upstairs, and another room with a queen bed. We have a full kitchen, front porch, and a firepit area with a gas grill. Catch up on TV, do a puzzle, or sit outside and enjoy coffee!

Welcome to our cozy cottage just across the street from Houghton Lake! Enjoy the nicest street on the lake, with lake views from the living room, dining room/kitchen, & the additional family room.
