We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i dette sommerhus! Poolen og alle de øvrige faciliteter – inkl. sauna, udeområder og køkken – var af virkelig høj kvalitet, og det hele fungerede upåklageligt. Stemningen og rammerne var perfekte til en hyggelig og afslappet ferie med venner. Det eneste lille minus var, at man selv skulle medbringe gas til grillen, hvilket kom som en overraskelse for os alle. Det ville være rart, hvis det blev nævnt tydeligere i beskrivelsen. Alt i alt en skøn oplevelse – vi kommer gerne igen!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

Wir haben uns im Haus total wohl gefühlt. Es ist nicht nur hübsch eingerichtet, sondern auch total praktisch für einen Urlaub mit Kindern. Unsere drei Kinder sind in einem ähnlichen Alter und haben sich sehr über das tolle Hochbett, die schönen Verkleidungen, Spielsachen und Bastelutensilien gefreut. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das große Ehebett hatte so viel Platz, dass unsere Tochter entspannt bei uns schlafen konnte. Unser Sohn hat im Pool tauchen gelernt und es war ideal, dass der Pool hoch war (dass unsere einjährige Tochter nicht reinfallen konnte), aber der Wasserstand so, dass unsere älteren Kinder darin stehen konnten. Wir haben den Urlaub genossen und können uns gut vorstellen, noch mal wieder dort Urlaub zu machen. Jeanne propose un logement très atypique. il est très propre et bien agencé. je recommande fortement ce logement. d'autant plus que l'hôte, Jeanne, est très agréables et réactive aux messages. bonne continuation, signé les français satisfaits ( ce qui est assez rare 😁 )

Dejligt sommerbolig i Rørvig Park. Huset er velindrettet og er lige så flot som på billederne. Der er tre rummelige soveværelser med gode senge. Lys opholdsstue og rummeligt køkkenalrum. Det er let at kommunikere med Dorthe og vi fik hurtigt svar på vores spørgsmål. Vi vil gerne komme tilbage.

I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay at Morten's summerhouse. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped with modern amenities. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The garden is large and private. On top of that we loved the styling of the interior. There are two ferries to the island, we only used the one to Hammer-Bakke. It runs every 20 minutes and only takes 6-8 minutes to cross. At ±€15,- for a return ticket it might sound pricey but the convenience is absolutely worth it. It's a great place to stay if you want to visit Copenhagen but want a calm and quiet place to stay, surrounded by some beautiful nature. I can't recommend this place and Morten enough, we'd love to return someday.

We had a lovely stay with our young family. The house is fully equipped with so many toys, high chair, bed, sand box… perfect for families! Also for parents who want to enjoy a sauna or coffee in the sun! The beach is nearby and we had so many places to go for long walks nearby, nice coffees or lunches. Copenhagen is close by and it is easy to go for the day. It felt like the perfect place to have a nice balance between active days and rest.

Super nice summerhouse which has everything you need to spend some relaxing summer days: cosy beds, everything to cook, a lovely terrace and garden with outdoor seating, the sea to both sides very close. The house is bright and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Janne’s home was wonderful! It was even bigger than it looks in the photos, had all the amenities we could imagine, had tons of toys and games for the kids to play with, inside and out, is surrounded by gorgeous nature and a short walk to the beautiful coastline. She was a kind and responsive host and we’d gladly visit again.

Ann Charlotte’s place is cosy and in beautiful surroundings in Kikhavn, a lovely village by the sea. We spent a few days here to get away from the city and it was great. I worked remotely and the internet is very fast, no issues there. Ann Charlotte is very friendly and welcoming. While we were staying the heating went out but Ann Charlotte made sure we were comfortable and it didn’t bother us. The house and garden are lovely and quiet too. Highly recommend!

Mooi oud Deens boerderijtje op het platteland, met een goede supermarkt op 5 km afstand. Voor leuke restaurants moet je echt wel wat verder rijden. Dicht bij het fjord, mooi om te fietsen en wandelen. De keuken is zeer volledig uitgerust, er is zelfs een airfryer, oven, magnetron maar ook goede messen, keukengerei, alles om een goede maaltijd te bereiden De slaapkamer is prima, fijne bedden en goed beddengoed. De badkamer is een beetje oud en klein, maar volop warm water en alles werkt, dus prima Dorte is heel aardig, behulpzaam en attent. Zeker een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Zenia’s beautiful place 🌞 Everything was incredibly cozy, well-equipped, and just overall had everything you might need to spend some relaxing days close to the sea 🌊 Zenia was also super friendly and always replied quickly to messages. We’ll hopefully be back! 🥰

Schöne moderne Unterkunft mit ruhig Garten. Das Haus ist mit allem gut ausgestattet in der Küche und draußen hat es uns an nichts gefehlt.

Vi var 7 voksne og 4 små børn, alle nød opholdet. Der var god plads og køkkenet fungerede optimalt. Det er et sted vi meget gerne vender tilbage til, især pga en sød og i mødekommende vært.

Vi har haft et par hyggelige dage i Annettes hyggelige sommerhus, som bare ligger perfekt i skønne Nykøbing, med gåafstand til det meste 😁 Dertil god ro i og omkring sommerhuset.

Super dejligt hus hvor det var nemt at føle sig hjemme. Vi nød haven og terrassen og lavede en masse god mad i køkkenet der var nemt at finde rundt i og brugbart. Søren og Anne var rigtig gode værter og vi vil give dem vores bedste anbefalinger. Vi var afsted 8 voksne og børn i alderen 4-13 og havde hund med. Der var god plads til alle. Meget smukke omgivelser. Vi kommer gerne igen en anden gang:)

Meget dejligt og hyggeligt sted der oser af familiehistorie og generationer, der har haft tilknytning til stedet. Smuk smuk beliggenhed og formidabel udsigt.

Vi boede i 6 dejlige juni-sommerdage og nød morgen- og formiddagssol på altanen med pragtfuld udsigt over fjorden med Nordsjællands vestkyst i horisonten. Vi morgenbadede fra Nordstrand (10 min i bil nordpå) og en enkelt dag indenfjords ved Sandskredet (15 min i bil sydpå), hvor der var mindre vind. Vi besøgte Annebergparken 4 dage (madmarked, langbordsmiddag, skovvandring og Michelin restaurant Mota). Vær opmærksom på boligen er i tre etager med trappe fra køkken/stue ned til badeværelset og op til soveværelset. Og at der er lavt til nogle loftsbjælker og udgangsdøren i badeværelset. Samt være forsigtig når bilen skal ud på vejen fra p-pladsen ved siden af boligen. Køkkenet var veludstyret og vi nød aftensmad i aftensolen nede i havestolene helt tæt på vandet.

Heerlijk verblijf van een week in een zo goed als nieuw zomerhuis. Smaakvol ingericht en het ontbrak ons aan niets. Herten lopen door je tuin, je voelt je dus midden in de natuur. Spelletjes en voetbal en goal voor de kinderen. Zouden hier zo weer voor kiezen.

Huset passet fint til 3 generationer. 6 voksne og 2 små børn

Hele familien nød opholdet, for vi følte os hjemme i det skønne hus, og de dejlige omgivelser. Huset var i gå-afstand til Rørvig havn. En stor anbefaling herfra.
