The place was exactly as described, clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable and would recommend it 👍🏽 Value for money is also right. 😊 Thanks a bunch
A white peacock displays its feathers, creating a striking fan shape with delicate, elongated plumes that radiate outward. The crisp, light colors of the plumage contrast with the lush green grass in the background, drawing attention to the peacock's intricate patterns.

Johanna was very responsive and offered to pick my partner and I up from the nearby town. On the day of our checkout she drove us to the nearby village for easier access to public transport, very kind and friendly woman!
The interior features a compact kitchenette with a cozy seating area. A small dining table with white chairs is positioned by large glass windows, providing views of the greenery outside. Natural light fills the space, highlighting the simple, modern design.

Cottage on the wadden dike

The tiny house is highly recommended if you appreciate peace and simplicity. Amenities are just as described. The Tiny House is located in a row with four others, we found the other guests to be very discreet and nice. Check-in is straightforward. In the house there is a basic set of dishes and cutlery, details were missing, but on vacation that's fine... 🙂 The surroundings are very quiet, a quaint café is within walking distance, otherwise you can see a lot of nature, special waders and some sheep. 🙂 Highly recommended is the Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer or a day trip to Groningen.
A modern bathroom features sleek stone tiles and a circular mirror above a minimalist vanity with a single basin. Soft towels in shades of purple and yellow are neatly hung beside the hand dryer. A spacious shower area is partially visible, contributing to the overall clean design.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Very nicely decorated. Plenty of space for 6 people. Very good, fast and nice communication with the host. Good opportunities for shopping by bike or car. Good parking, also for several cars. We would recommend the place right away. Thanks a lot!
A modern kitchen area is highlighted by dark cabinetry and a central island with seating. Natural light floods the space through a skylight, illuminating the wooden flooring. Exposed beams add a touch of character, while a striking artwork serves as a focal point on the wall.

"Goudgenog"

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

Groninger Kroon

We have completely relaxed in this wonderful place in the countryside! The view is amazing, you see a different animal shooting past every time. It is a quiet, peaceful place, but you can quickly reach the hustle and bustle by going to the city of Groningen. Also be sure to choose the delicious breakfast with the fresh eggs from the chickens that walk around. In short, highly recommended!

Teyhörn in Pilsumer farm near Greetsiel

MaxRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was really very nice. Great quiet area and lots of ways to discover East Frisia. The Pilsumer Lighthouse (known by Otto) is nearby and Gretsil is also quickly accessible. You should definitely go for a Frisian tea at the Zwillingsmühlen! The place was very nice, just a little tight here and there for tall people. But that's the way it is in an old property. But it has everything you need and nothing was missing in the kitchen either. Communication with Thorsten and his wife was great and typically very friendly in the East Frisian way. A bit of a shame that we didn't see each other in person, but next time we're there. We will definitely be back!
