House vacation rentals in Rome

We stayed for 2 nights in June, and we all wished we could have stayed longer. This house was perfect for 6 adults and 1 toddler as well as our 2 dogs. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern updated and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen and living room were a nice gathering area for us. We found the bedrooms comfortable and very peaceful for a good night sleep. The pool and outside was our favorite. The pool was perfect, clean & warm. We loved that it had a shelf that our toddler granddaughter could sit on and splash around. We didn't get to the fire pit, but that area was very nice as well. We had a great time, and we are hoping to get back again next year. We highly recommend this home and the host who was always easy to communicate with and highly responsive.

This was a great condo - spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to sugarloaf base camp - about a half mile so also easy to walk. Would stay again and would recommend!

This was one of the most memorable places I have ever lived at! The property is huge, well maintained and just a perfect getaway spot with the right amount of amenities. Will definitely recommend this place 10/10 to anyone visiting Acadia National Park.

I had a wonderful stay., they were fantastic in accommodations for me and my service dog who loved the yard. The home is beautiful and the host was very accommodating. communication was great. I look forward to staying there when I’m in that area again.

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

We enjoyed our stay at Cheryl and Ambers place. Prompt response always. Great view of sugar loaf mountain. The pool was a bonus. There place had all the essentials you need. I only have a few minor complaints it was very hot with no AC. There was only one fan and no screen doors. Also it could use a deep cleaning. Other than that our stay was great very quiet and relaxing.

We had such an enjoyable stay we didnt want to leave! All agreed we would stay here again - such a beautiful quiet retreat. Steve was a responsive host with detailed instructions for checkin/checkout. It made everything perfect for my family.

This home on Turtle Cove was perfect for our group. Everything was extremely clean and well managed and Leisa and Bob were incredible hosts! The home was spacious enough for our group and everyone was comfortable. The pool room was a big hit!

The photos don’t do this place justice! It is extremely pretty and bigger than I thought! Its location is perfect and made for an easy reunion weekend at Colby!

This place was awesome for our family. My younger daughter and husband have a toddler and the accommodations were perfect. The dock and all of the water sports equipment was a huge hit. We kayaked , and fished. My oldest daughter did a plunge in the lake ( mind you it’s October!!!). Every morning I sat on the dock watched the sun come up and enjoyed the views and wildlife. Having a properly equipped kitchen was an added bonus. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we like we were at home. Dry peaceful and quiet. Looking forward to a return trip.

I had a wonderful 2-day stay at this lake house with my friends. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described by the host. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings — it was the perfect spot for a quick getaway by the lake. The hosts were very responsive and answered any questions quickly. We had an absolutely amazing time here. We spent a lot of time cooking and sharing meals on the back porch that had a breathtaking view of the mountains and water. The movie theatre was such a fun addition to an already stunning home. I chose this place because of its beautiful scenery and interior so that I could propose to my girlfriend of 7 years. She said yes! I can’t thank Darryl enough for sharing such a beautiful home and fun experience. We would absolutely rent again!

We had a great stay at the lake house. The surrounding are beautiful and very peaceful. Aside from the occasional car going down the street across the lake it is very quiet. We took full advantage of the kayaks and were out on the lake every day and walking the bank looking for crawfish at night. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back again!

If you want a private, well furnished home in the woods with fishing access on the stream and 2 fire pits this is your place!! Staying at this house made a work trip for my crew and I, feel like we were on vacation for 2 nights while staying there. Worth the money and great hosts!

Wendy is an amazing host. We were in town to visit family and her location was very good for us. Everything worked as it should. No problems at all.

We stayed for two months while I was on a temporary work assignment in the area. Check-in was simple, any questions were quickly answered. We had no problems with anything during our stay; everything was exactly as anticipated from the description. We immediately loved the view of the lake from the front windows! The kitchen was perfect, and we felt right at home. I was working long shifts, and a quiet, peaceful location was important for me to get enough sleep--this place provided it exactly. We were able to watch the lake go from ice covered when we arrived to open water when we left. We saw robins and loons arrive, and heard them calling as they settled into their summer homes. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who enjoys a quiet lake setting.

A five star setting in a true Maine oasis. If you're looking for a great , clean and comfortable house with a pondfront setting in a small Maine town, look no further. Every amenity you would hope for is there. Furniture is nice and lots of homey personal touches. Great bed which isn't always the case in even better AirBnBs. Hosts were good communicators and responses to questions came quickly. No complaint on anything. Dog friendly is a bonus!

Adding to the many reviews that say how incredible this place is: an easy commute to Saddleback for those looking to ski (as well as into town and to the lakes, too). Brand new, beautiful place with a fully stocked kitchen that worked well for our three small families to spend a weekend together. Really appreciated the extra touches for children, including the dishes. While the weather was cold and rainy, we were able to all be comfortable and cozy by the fire inside. Thanks to Kyle for the opportunity to stay!

Monica’s place was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. It was incredibly peaceful and spacious. We needed that space with 6 people. When a couple of small issues arose, Monica was quick to respond and communicate solutions. The location and views were amazing! The location was a perfect spot for driving to other parts of Maine or Vermont for the day. The town next to us, Bethel, had a convenient Walgreens and several great restaurants. We would recommend this host and location!
