We enjoy getting to know our guests but will respect your privacy. I work from home and am occupied during the day but am happy to answer questions about the area. Need a little R & R? Relax at the riverfront Powder River Train Depot built in 1908 and on the National Register of Historic Places. A 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath abode boasts private North Platte riverfront fly fishing, turkeys, and deer on 42 acres, is only 5 minutes from town. Beautiful wrap around deck with sunset views. Skiing, hiking, rafting, floating, fishing, hunting, you pick. Perfect for families and gatherings of 15 people. No parties or events are allowed at this time due to COVID.

You will have beautiful views all around this spacious, cozy and welcoming home. Our house is known as the deer house by locals. Hopefully you will see some! You will be minutes to town, restaurants, shopping, Rotary Park where you can hike to a beautiful waterfall , Hagadon Basin Ski Area, the Fairgrounds, hiking trails, Alcova Lake, museums and more! Dust off your hat and take off your boots here at the Logan Ranch. We are located 2.2 miles from Walmart but only a hike away from beautiful Casper Mountain. We have several unique stay options and this one will be sure to mark a box of your bucket list if you have always wanted to stay in an authentic sheep wagon. We are in a rural neighborhood surrounded by horses and other animals. The view from your door is beautiful Casper Mountain. If this is booked we have other unique stay options.

Deer Creek Pony Express Cabin

This cabin is located on 9 acres of private property with 3 other houses it has a fenced in yard for kids to play and dogs to run. The deer creek is just a stone's throw away from the cabin as well as a park for kids to play. Deer Creek Pony Express used to be a home station for the pony express route and the Oregon trail. The pony express ran from 1860 to 1861, and it ran from St. Joseph Missouri to Sacramento California. Come and enjoy this historical property.
