The house is one large room and is located in Tøndermarsken in the southwestern corner of Southern Jutland, near Møgeltønder, Rudbøl and Tønder. There are large windows with views of nature and fields 360 degrees around and you can optionally close the view with blinds and make it more cozy in the evening as needed. In front of the house, the heron stands in the lake and there is the possibility of seeing buzzards, swallows, ducks, etc. as well as large flocks of starlings in spring and autumn. Our 2015 fully renovated vacation home on the foundations of 1895 stands on an old indoor dyke. The south-east terrace and the garden offer an unobstructed view over the meadows. From the north-west terrace you look across the fields to Denmark. There are two car parking spaces available.

We live directly on the Wiedaudeich, which belongs to a large nature reserve with a fascinating birdlife and at the same time forms the border with Denmark. Here you can experience the famous sort sol, the black sun, in the spring and autumn, the breathtaking dance of ten thousand starlings in the evening sky.
