Breathtaking view of the sea and a beautiful old tree at sunrise and sunset. Very clean and functional accommodation. Easy check-in and checkout thanks to the lockbox and communication with Clémence. We would recommend it in a second.

Extremely well located accommodation in a rather quiet area close to the old port and shops, easy to reach from the train station. The space was quiet and clean. Martine was very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time!

Although the contact was never direct, Sylvain was a thoughtful, responsive and anxious host to welcome us in the best possible way. The apartment, despite its modest proportions, offers all the comfort you can expect. Its ideal location also allows access by foot to everything that, in the historic Rochefort, is worth a visit, from its famous arsenal to the old port, from its Marine Museum to its unspoiled fortifications, from its buccaneer cafes to its antique bookshops.

The apartment is very well located, at the foot of the Tour de la Lanterne, a stone's throw from the old port and 5 minutes from the beach of La Concurrence. The place is ideal for walking, cycling (self-service station nearby) and for taking the bus boats to the aquarium or the Port des Minimes. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the train station.

Laurent and Nadine have been fabulous hosts. I felt very welcome and they were very friendly and attentive to me, making sure I knew where to find places and offering advice and help on my little trips around the place. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen and shower room were great. I had everything I needed. There is a great market nearby on a Sunday which is well worth a visit. The location is lovely and quiet for a restful sleep. I highly recommend.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

We had a great time at Gérard and Véronique's, who are very friendly and always smiling and dynamic hosts. The hosting was very warm . The cottage is very clean and very functional . Everything is well thought out. Quality linen. Very comfortable bedding. The terrace near the kitchen is also very nice, well equipped for outdoor meals and relaxing on sunny days. The calm of this place filled us. We sincerely thank Gérard and Véronique for their kind little touches: walnut wine and homemade jam, as well as some cakes from the region. Thanks also for the little "tap" demonstration. We highly recommend this rental, which is very well located in a very beautiful area. We'll be happy to go back.

Very nice little house, close to the beach and shops. The house is clean, spacious and well appointed. there is everything you need for a good stay. the bedding is comfortable. The very cute garden. the location is central to visit nearby towns. Morgane is a discreet but very responsive host.

For our first stay in La Rochelle we were greeted by a very nice and welcoming host, these tips allowed us to visit the region as well as the use of urban transport made available to us with a bus stop "if you can say so" at the foot of the house. everything was as advertised on the site, I recommend this lovely little accommodation to other users because we had a lovely stay, thank you again to Eliane for her kindness. Beautiful place to stay to enjoy all the beauty of this area. Lovely evening walks down the coast right from your door step. Easy drive to the lovely town of Brouage and the isle de oleron. Ced is so easy to talk to and gave us lots of helpful advice on what to see in the area. His English is excellent and we appreciated his efforts to chat with us.( our French is so poor) His place is very well equipped and very clean. Do not hesitate to book!

Wonderful stay at Antoine's. The house is superb, at least as much as in the photos, quiet behind the harbor in a cul-de-sac, while being a 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The courtyard / terrace is a real plus, spacious, pleasant and well vegetated, as well as the winery to store things and leave more places in the house. Comfortable bedding, super well-equipped kitchen, everything is there! Lots of things to do in the Côtinière or not far away, you don't get bored, with or without children. Antoine was very responsive to the info, and so was Laurent who welcomed us. In short, great value for money!

I would recommend Thierry's accommodation, very clean, very quiet at the bottom of a cul-de-sac, shops nearby. Thierry is very welcoming, and when I return to the area, I will return to his home.

We had a pleasant stay at Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their beautiful terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. Their tips for visiting the area were very helpful. Thank you both for the little treats too. We highly recommend it.

Had a great time at Arnaud's apartment. Very well hosted by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

Valérie's accommodation is very nice and located in the heart of La Rochelle. Everything is within easy walking distance. Small touches are a plus, the amenities are good quality and communication with Valerie is easy.
