My place is a sunny, charming bijou apartment in an 1880s villa, just a 10-min walk to the historic cathedral, cafés, alfresco dining, and the famous Nelson Saturday Market. It’s close to the Maitai River, with cycle paths, walks, swimming spots, and picnic areas. There is a private outdoor garden with lounge chairs, a BBQ grill, grapes and feijoas. My place comfortably sleeps two, with an en-suite bathroom. A fold-out chair bed and extra bedding can accommodate a third guest if needed. Enjoy!

This was a very nice place to stay. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in smooth. The space itself was clean, cozy, and felt very private—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s also conveniently located close to the main road, making it easy to get to all the key spots around Nelson. Edan was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend!

We haven’t ever seen an air bnb with only 5* before- but Barbara place completely lives up to expectations. They were kind, considerate and personable hosts. The photos do not do this air bnb justice, it’s incredible, the deck is private with amazing views down the front. The bed was large, comfortable and shower hot and everything great. Book it, and you’ll have the pleasure of meeting these great hosts and stay in an amazing air BnB.

what a Devine place to stay. Absolutely everything here caters for a relaxing and comfortable get away. Cosy, private, nature, jacuzzi. Great attention to detail even the towels are gorgeous. Cafe, restaurant, pub and beach only minutes to drive to . . . if you want otherwise, you can take your own food to cook with full kitchen and BBQ. We were meet with the host who showed us all the facilities and how to access the property etc. The location is nice and quiet and catch 22 cafe which was just out the front of the property was great for bfast, lunch etc. Highly recommend. We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

A spa pool is situated on a patio, surrounded by wooden walls that provide a sense of privacy. Skylights above enhance natural light. Steps lead up to the pool, with low-maintenance landscaping featuring grasses in the foreground.
