This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views

The Regent's Chambers

The Regent's Chambers is a marvellous and comfortable place to stay, with super king beds, Netflix & Amazon Video, board games, self check-in and breakfast ingredients (except for milk!). There's a garden for relaxing in during nice weather (it happens!) and a real home-from-home feeling. There's free parking just outside the flat and it's a five minute walk into town (explore the castle and new gallery spaces), ten min to the station and ten min to Kynren. Durham is just a half hour away.

The Grade 2 listed Old Library, Masham sits on the corner of the principle approach in to the Market Square from Swinton. Built in 1856 it originally served as the Mechanic Institute of then Mashamshire. It was designed by the respected William Perkin of Perkin and Backhouse of Leeds in Victorian Italianate style. Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Facilities include: Electric hob and single oven, combination microwave / oven, fridge- freezer, toaster, dining table / chairs and TV. We have 3 double bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. 20 minutes walk from railway station, 10 minutes drive from the motorway and 15 minute drive from Tees Valley airport.

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.
