This is a magical location. Extremely private with terrific ocean front. A perfect view of Sea Wolf Island National Refuge. Lots of birds with eagles seen ever day. You'll have miles of beach to explore -never saw another person. The amenities are true luxury. Everything you would ever need to prepare meals was there. Andrew was a perfect host.

Spruce - Luxury 1BR Cottage Stunning Views Hot Tub

KatelynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely stunning - my husband and I stayed here for three nights and couldn’t get over the view. We watched the sunset from three different locations each night … all beautiful. That alone would make this place a must stay, but layered on top are gorgeous accommodations with all the modern touches! Can’t wait to visit again.

Dream Lake House

NormandRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had an amazing one-month stay, the house's highlights are: Well-located residence for discovering Cape Breton Island and its surroundings. Very quiet place and away from neighbors, just across the marina. Beautiful residence, very clean, full of beautiful windows, comfortable and well air-conditioned Outdoor fire pit and pergolas were very much appreciated. All services and restaurants are less than a kilometer away Nature is very present all around the house (deer, foxes, squirrels, crabs, cormorants, herons, blue jay, kingfisher, etc.). Points to consider: No curtain in the master bedroom. No mosquito nets in any of the windows, so you'll have to choose between mosquitoes or air conditioning. Dining table for only 6 people seated (listed; maximum of 8 guests). Very poorly equipped kitchen Many bulbs are burned out indoors and outdoors and none A big thank you to our hosts for the stay!

Entire Bras d'Or lakefront cottage w'private beach

AmberRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Jeanette and Wade have shared a cherished family home with the world. This house is spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and lovingly appointed. The hosts have thought of everything. The windows were open, and a fresh, summer breeze blew through the house. There is a fully stocked kitchen, a Keurig, and Tim Horton coffee (best around). There are three spotlessly clean bathrooms including the fluffiest towels, excellent water pressure, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash...everything you could need. We slept in the upstairs bedroom and the slight breeze off the lake through the window was divine. There is a comfy couch, fireplace, cozy recliner books, games, tv, even a bag for collecting sheIls. Easily enough room for a family of 5 or 6. There are accessibility features throughout. Did I mention the view? Stunning sunsets on what feels like the ocean, seals, deer, heron, geese...all visible from the backyard. I could have stayed forever. We will definitely be back.
