The house is one large room and is located in Tøndermarsken in the southwestern corner of Southern Jutland, near Møgeltønder, Rudbøl and Tønder. There are large windows with views of nature and fields 360 degrees around and you can optionally close the view with blinds and make it more cozy in the evening as needed. In front of the house, the heron stands in the lake and there is the possibility of seeing buzzards, swallows, ducks, etc. as well as large flocks of starlings in spring and autumn. All this helps to provide a natural experience.

It is ideal for excursions to the islands, Halligen, Denmark, Flensburg and Husum. The Old Canoe Hous is a lovingly furnished, open 130 square meter apartment in our thatched-roof barn with a view of the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marsh. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle around the accommodation and watch the flocks of birds that use the lake, which is partly a nature reserve, as a migration and nesting site. The lake is used for windsurfing and wingfoiling.
