Kudos to Betty and her team at Casa Giroud. We enjoyed a great weekend in Trinidad! Even though there are many good restaurants nearby, we started each day with the 6USD breakfast which was absolutely delicious. The little swimming pool was used by us on a daily basis. Clean and refreshing! Apagones are a problem in all of Cuba, but especially in the provinces. Be aware that there's a generator for the house that turns on in the evening. It doesn't operate the fridge nor the A/C, but it's nice to recharge all your devices and to have a fan on when there's a blackout at night. Communication is superb. Betty speaks English perfectly and was helpful with recommendations and advice about the city. I would definitely re-book the next time I come to Trinidad.

During our stay, we had the pleasure of meeting Kenia and her little dog Cosita, the host was really helpful both in terms of tips for the city and for breakfast prepared every morning with super fresh products. The house matches the photos perfectly and the bathroom is very clean.

We had such a wonderful time here! Our hosts made a delicious breakfast, provided great advice and helped coordinate transportation and activities for us. The location is very central and easy to walk to anything in the city. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was fantastic. Would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Trinidad!!
