A superb place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it mirrors in the sea as well. Tromsø city center bus, about 15 min. Cozy cabin with SAUNA (sauna) 6 km north from Lyngseidet city center. The cabin is a total of 49 sqm and is great for 3-4 adults or a small family. The cabin contains : living room, toilet /shower , kitchen and 3 bedroom stall: inside the stall there is a washing machine - Large porch where there are barbecue facilities to view the Lyngenfjord. ( wood or charcoal is not included in the price) - The cabin should be left in order and tidy. - Used bedding and towels must be removed and put in the laundry basket.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
