Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house.  If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

A short distance to the high mountain for ski/peak hikes/hikes/hunting and northern lights experiences. There is also a scooter trail during winter time. The cabin has electricity, inlaid water and a sauna. Bed linens and towels included There is a well equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster and water boiler. Cozy cabin with SAUNA (sauna) 6 km north from Lyngseidet city center. The cabin is a total of 49 sqm and is great for 3-4 adults or a small family. The cabin contains : living room, toilet /shower , kitchen and 3 bedroom stall: inside the stall there is a washing machine - Large porch where there are barbecue facilities to view the Lyngenfjord. ( wood or charcoal is not included in the price) - The cabin should be left in order and tidy. - Used bedding and towels must be removed and put in the laundry basket.

New, great cabin with a lovely view!

About this place: The hut is brand new and special. In the kitchen and living room there are large window surfaces and and very high under the roof. The view is therefore spectacular and has to be experienced. You can hear and see the sea from the terrace because the cabin is only 50 meters from the sea. You can park your car almost right next to the lodge. It is therefore very easy to use the cabin. You can carry your luggage right into the cabin.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.

Friends call my cabin a church

Area is very quiet. Everyone is impressed how silent it is. it's located 19km from Tromsø airport. Cabin built with passion, I have spent endless hours building it from very beginning. Most things are hand made. Like oak floors, doors, cabinets are done from cutting tree in forest and processing to the final product.

Cabin with panoramic view

Cosy cabin by the sea. Located in a calm area containing family cabins. A perfect area for watching the Northern lights with no distraction from cars and neighbours. Only peace and quiet. You can drive your car right up to the cabin where you can easily park. In the winter i recommend a 4wd car because of a steep road
