Handa pod in scottish highlands.

IanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This pod was an amazing find and one of surprisingly few options available in this area. Everything was as expected from the photos/description and overall very well equipped. A radiator plus a separate AC unit will keep the pod comfortable no matter the season. Enough appliances for basic cooking if required too (though if you're only staying a couple of night, no real need to). We stayed with our toddler (brought our own travel cot) and there was just about enough space to make it work. Our advice would be try to avoid staying in this area on a weekend as a lot of stuff locally is closed e.g. the Handa Island Ferry and Crofters Kitchen restaurant are both closed on Sunday plus the Shorehouse kitchen is closed Saturday and Sunday. The Campsite in Scourie is the closest amenities including a shop that sells freshly baked pizza and a bar. Lots of amazing walks, beaches and views close by. Overall, would recommend for anyone coming to the area.

Cosy, fresh 1 bedroom cabin in Talmine

JaniceRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Gert is a very warm and friendly host. The beautiful tiny house’s interior was cleverly thought out with many extra touches so it felt homely. It was a great experience to stay in this well organised accommodation and in such a peaceful and beautiful village. The amazing view from the windows was of the coast and sea. The beach was only a short walk away. The local shop only a couple of minutes walk away.
A wooden fireplace mantel frames a black log burner, positioned against a brick wall. Above, a painting of a Highland cow adds character to the space. The white paneling enhances the light throughout the room, creating a warm and inviting focal point.

The Gate Lodge

Great new addition to AirBnB! Everything as described and better. Perfectly and very welcoming prepared for our arrival. Bathroom is brand new. Everything has been spotless clean. Overall very cosy. Easy communication with a very friendly host. Potential proximity to NC 500 wasn‘t a factor at all, it was so quiet. Would love to stay here again!

The View B&B Kinlochbervie Large Room Then

DeborahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Valerie provides a great accommodation for all traveler personalities. The BnB provides brilliant views over the loch which spreads out in front of the residence. The room and en-suite has all amenities with a comfortable large queen sized bed and clean linen and a cared for shower and toilet facilities at an affordable price. We were most impressed with Valerie’s ability to communicate at every level of the accommodation and ensure that we had a rewarding stay. This included information about local sites to visit and travel between towns in this most outstanding region. Keep this accommodation in mind when you are booking in this location and be comforted by a home cooked breakfast.

Ecotone Cabins - Red Squirrel

JanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed in the Red Squirrel Cabin, which was extremely comfortable, well designed, and kitted out for a long term stay. Everything was there, and in full working order! Beautiful views, and a balcony with a glass roof, which enabled us to enjoy sitting outside, even on a rainy day! The personal service and communication from Tiril and Sam was second to none! We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back if we can!! Jan & Ruth
