The cabin is well suited for a couple who love nature, views that inspire and wish for privacy. It was immaculately clean and well cared for. It is also in a good location if you wish to travel for day trips to Borgarnes, Hvammsvik Hot springs and Thingvellir national park.

Die Hütte ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Sie ist jedoch vergleichsweise klein. Verstärkt durch die detaillierte Dekoration ist der Platz für eine Familie mit drei ausgewachsenen Kindern knapp bemessen. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für drei bis vier Reisende. Unser persönlicher Kontakt war sehr herzlich, wir danken dafür sehr!

Very nice spot out in the country; cannot beat the view from hot tub. Very quiet and peaceful area to enjoy. There is plenty to do locally by driving around and checking out the beautiful sites and landscape that Iceland has to offer. It is a self sustaining cabin so we did need to clean up everything at the end which was easy and allowed us to truly get away from the city lights and we got to see some northern lights right off the back porch on the last night of our stay!

This was the perfect place to stay. It was in a beautiful location with a view of the water. It was a cozy place to come back to after exploring Iceland. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The area is very quiet. Would love to stay here again if we ever come back!

The stay was absolutely magical. We enjoyed the beautiful scenic views from the hot tub. The hospitality was top tier and the Airbnb had everything we needed for our stay. Amazing!

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and out in the country. This was the perfect place for us. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hottub and we're also able to view the Northern Lights on a few nights. The amenities inside were perfect and just what we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the shower being outside in a separate building, at first, but the water was hot and the pressure was excellent. Our stay was perfect and the communication with Vidar was top notch. Such a beautiful place.

The tiny garden home was a wonderful place to stay. It was in quiet and peaceful surroundings surrounded by nature. The location was easy to get to and perfect for easy day trips into the city or out into the countryside. Check in was very easy and Jóhanna was available if there was anything we needed.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Gunnar. La cabane était très bien aménagée, tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Un très grand lit très confortable et une salle de bain et toilettes pour vous tout seul .Elle se trouve au milieu de la nature, calme et petits oiseaux alors que l'on se trouve à moins de 5mins en voiture de la ville. De plus elle n'est pas très loin du cercle d'or ce qui en fait un point très intéressant pour rayonner plus facilement dans la région. Gros coup de cœur , merci Gunnar d'avoir mis cette petite merveille en location 😍

We stayed at this location before. There’s a reason we keep coming back. Great place to be, quiet, secluded and super comfortable. We’ll keep staying here as long as she’ll allow us.

We had a great stay at the tiny home! Everything was clean and had exactly what we needed. The kitchen had the perfect amount of things to make a few meals easily. We enjoyed the hot tub and saw the northern lights while relaxing—it was amazing! Safe neighborhood with a great walking path behind it (It still feels private even with the walking path nearby). Check in was easy with a lock box and parking was easy as well. We loved our stay!

Helga’s place is absolutely beautiful! The suite is exceptionally cozy and if you’re lucky you’ll get a visit from Felix, the cat! The bed is comfy and the clawfoot tub is magical. To top it all off, there is an incredible backyard view of the mountain. Highly recommend!

We loved kristin and eagle’ cabin. It is located 24 minutes off reykjavik. The drive was amazing with an endless purple flowers , lots of singing birds, ponies , hills and a lake. The cabin is warm and private and nicely decorated . Kristin provided me awesome itinerary to visit place near the golden circle and eagle even helped me park my car . My daughter and I couldn’t be happier staying at their lovely cabin. Highly recommended .
