Right outside the door, you can follow the walkway down to the city, jump on the bus (which also stops right outside the door and takes 12 minutes to Strømsøtorg and the train station), or you can take the path up to Nordbykollen with panoramic views from the lookout tower. The nearest grocery store is 3 minutes away by car.

The cottage is modern and fully equipped with top facilities. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

A rocky path leads to the private jetty with a rowing boat at your disposition. Within a 20 minutes drive you will reach Kolsås, Sandvika, Høvikodden and Oslo, and by public transport Oslo is within an hour. Cozy house 30 min from Oslo, close to lakes

Asker has a lot to offer, and Engelsrud is surrounded by three lakes which gives many opportunities for recreation summer and winter. Our garden/yard is very family friendly. A five minute walk from the house you can get public transportation bringing you downtown Asker in ten min. Asker has a small, but well developed downtown with a nice selection of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min. 15 min by car will bring you to the Oslo fjord in Asker.
