I stayed at this air b&b with 14 people. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the host was great & very responsive! Highly recommend if you are looking for some time away or need a home base for a large group just outside of Toronto

This cottage was perfect for our group! From start to finish everything was great. • Easy instructions getting to the cottage as well as getting inside •10/10 clean from living rooms, bedrooms & bathrooms • Kitchen is well equipped with the right sized pots/frying pans as well as right amount of utensils for the crowd that the cottage can accommodate (underrated feature for large group cottages) • The amenities like pool table, ping pong, air hockey, hot tub & 3 living rooms with large TV’s left us with no shortage of fun to have (especially with the unlucky weather we had) •Kelly was amazing as a host- she’s very responsive and makes sure you have everything you need for a great stay even throughout your time •The kitchen basics are there- salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, etc. I would recommend bringing your own seasonings/marinades/condiments that you like Overall we had 0 complaints & will be visiting the Sunset Lakehouse again. We stayed at Sahar’s cottage for a family weekend and it was great. The place was clean and had a lot to do. The lake is beautiful and the cottage is nice and private. The pool table was a hit and the projector was my son’s favourite thing. Overall a great place!

Me and my friend’s were very impressed about how beautiful this place is. We could enjoy a weekend getaway and this place allowed us to have a great time together. The house is just like the pictures/ description, and also very clean. Thank you Josh! We are definitely planning to come back and spend more time there.

Had a wonderful annual weekend away with all my girlfriends! Although the weather didn’t cooperate for the whole weekend, there was tons of room and games inside to keep us entertained. The covered back deck and hot tub were great too to let us get outside a bit. Will definitely be booking again hopefully when the sun is out and can enjoy the dock and fire pit! Overall a beautiful spacious place for 10 people to enjoy and very clean too.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Host was very responsive and helpful, check-in/out went smoothly, and the space was clean and uncluttered. The location offers privacy and we enjoyed the amenities, which included use of the hot tub. We would stay again in the future!

PJ was a great host. We really enjoyed our time, and the fishing in the area. Great spot for a good weekends away from home. The only two issues we ran into during our stay was the kitchen tap had very little water pressure, making washing dishes a little difficult. We also ran out of propane and realized the second tank, was also empty. We did go out and purchase one to use but took it home with us. Otherwise, we had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

We loved staying at the Hello Sunshine cottage! The place was clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like our own little home away from home. The place feels private, the view is stunning, and it was a breath of fresh air to unplug from technology during our stay. The sunroom was perfect for completing puzzles during the day and the backyard was well equipped to enjoy a peaceful fire at night. Alanna was a great host and was very quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying at Hello Sunshine, and will definitely be booking again!

What a beautiful spot! Right on the water! Perfect place to relax and unwind! Lots for the family to do from fishing, going out in the boat, swimming, enjoying the views and having a fire! Kris is very helpful, attentive and responsive from start to finish! The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We are already talking about going back! We would forsure recommend Kris' place!

We were 3 couples. The house is large and easily accommodated our group. The house is clean and comfortable. The wrap around deck is lovely and the large tv in the living room was great to watch the hockey game. Arman responds on questions very quickly and is very friendly. Would definitely recommend this spot.

We had a wonderful time at Sarah's beautiful, clean and well equipped house. Sarah was very responsive and helpful, and filled the kitchen with everything we needed, including seasoning, cooking and baking items and more. Also, let's not forget the fresh farm eggs and the herbs garden. Beds are super comfortable as well as all other furniture. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful garden and the gazebo, also highly recommended for star gazing at night! Thanks Sarah!

Anil’s lovely cottage was a perfect, private and cozy during our long weekend getaway. The place inside was spacious for friends and family. It would be beautiful during the summer time for sure since they have a big backyard with a lake. Overall, Anil was very accommodating, understanding and helpful throughout our stay.

Great cottage with lots of room for family. We had 8 adults stay. Lots of room for everyone and lots to do. Good selection of games and books. Paddle boards, kayaks and a tandem kayak for those who like to paddle together. Would definitely book again.

Absolutely beautiful location with stunning lake view. This is a lovely lakeside cottage that is perfect for taking a kayak or canoe into the calm waters of lake Chemong just outside of Peterborough. Swimming off the dock might be a little challenging due to the fact its at south end of the bay and weeds are high, but a 10 minute drive to Jones Beach is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon! A bit further up is the village of Lakefield, which is a charming town that also has a fantastic family friendly beach with all the facilities. All in all, a lovely little cottage with a fantastic deck, tiki bar and dock with a fire pit. I'd highly recommended this as a beautiful lakeside cottage for a relaxing time!

Hardeep is a wonderful host, place is great, no issues, everything as advertised. Would absolutely go back. Public boat launch next door and dock was able to accommodate a large fishing boat.

Great hosts, very friendly, very responsive, extremely quiet location being on a dead end road. great view of the lake from the living room and deck. My son was catching bass right off the dock.

This private cottage was absolutely amazing. My friends and I felt right at home, were very comfortable and safe. With a beautiful backyard view, alongside the fire pit, the bbq grill, and all the other listed amenities I HIGHLY recommend Kandee’s place for a peaceful time with your loved ones. Thanks to Kandee’s communication, we were given immediate instructions whenever we needed something.

Very charming and rustic cottage with a beautiful backdrop. We stared at the lake for endless hours through the window in the sun room, and enjoyed sunsets sitting on the dock. If you have young kids, this place is a dream come true. Between the adorable kids room filled with toys, puzzles and books, the pirate ship play structure in the yard, and the countless water activities, your little ones will have no shortage of things to do. There's also lots to do in the area. We enjoyed eating and shopping in downtown Port Perry, strawberry picking at a local farm, and the numerous parks and beaches in close proximity. I would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning!

Stephanie's place is great for a family/friends getaway. Beds are very comfortable and cottage is equipped with all utensils, plates and cutlery one may need. Hot tub is a great addition to overall good experience.

loras place was great! her husband was super helpful with getting our boat in and out of the water our kids (3 &4l )loved the sand area and pedal boat! will definitely go back+

Sabina’s cottage is a gem—perfectly situated right on the lakefront of beautiful Lake Scugog. The property is spacious and peaceful, surrounded by trees that add both privacy and charm. Inside, the cottage is cozy and well-equipped, with plenty to keep both adults and kids entertained, rain or shine. Outside there is plenty to do from jacuzzi, trampoline, ping pong, badminton, paddle boating and many kids playset and toys. One of the biggest perks is how close it is to Toronto—an easy drive that makes weekend getaways super convenient. The only minor downside is needing to bring your own bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets), but in the end, that actually made the stay feel more personal and comfortable—like bringing a bit of home to the cottage. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun escape!
