Vacation rentals with breakfast in Reading

Lovely modern accommodation with most of the things we needed as a home from home. Opening the lockbox was very easy. Victoria was wonderfully responsive and accommodating - for example we were able to check-in in the morning already and also check-out an hour later. Upon arrival I asked on messenger if there were tea towels anywhere and after a prompt response, two were dropped off that afternoon. There are some basic provisions available such as handsoap, washing up soap, dishwasher tables and other cleaning products as well as sugar, tea and coffee. However, the one basic that was missing was a toilet roll in the toilets! After a long journey that was more necessary than the dog treats in the cupboard LOL. Thankfully the COOP is a mere few metres away. The road is busy during the day so you can hear the cars and buses pass if you have the window open, but with double glazing it did not disturb us at night. We would definitely stay here again next time!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at V's through Airbnb, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, V was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend notifying her of your arrival time; it allows her to prepare everything perfectly. Upon entering, we were greeted by a delightful assortment of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel uniquely special. V had arranged a delightful spread of personalized breakfast items upon request, featuring artisan breads, jams, butter, and even delicious chocolates and a cake waiting for us. The warm ambiance, enhanced by soft music and gentle lighting, instantly made us feel at home. V's interior decor is truly one of a kind, reflecting her fantastic personality and talent for design. I had a wonderful weekend at the secret garden. The annexe is exactly as described and was so comfortable, well stocked and homely, not to mention very dog friendly! I absolutely loved it, and would definitely book again!

Unusual period property that has been thoughtfully renovated with modern amenities. Convenient to walk into Windsor or use public transport.

We had a fabulous stay at Lucy & Alex’s beautiful barn! Exceeded all expectations! A brilliant space with everything you could need to hand. Stand out feature was the wonderful projector, which we took advantage of the evening after having visited Highclere Castle, to watch the Downton Abbey film. Just perfect! Lucy was so thoughtful in providing both Downton Abbey films for us to watch during our stay. We’d had a long journey down to the barn and were so grateful to Lucy for supplying all the essentials for a much needed tea and toast break before we went for dinner at The Jack Russell (a wonderful recommendation from Lucy). It was great to meet Lucy & Alex (and the beautiful Mabel too), we’d love to come back for another visit!

Great place, highly recommend. I had expected something much smaller from the photos and price. Lots of space inside and out, private self contained property, very quiet and peaceful. Would have loved to stay for more nights and really make the most of the property. Many thanks

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I was especially touched by the extra care taken to prepare for my son’s stay: a high chair, cot bed, and even some lovely toys were all thoughtfully provided, which made a big difference for us as a family. The garden was a peaceful haven and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or letting my little one play. The location is ideal for a longer stay, with easy access to nearby attractions for day trips—and even London is not too far away. Every detail in the home showed how much the host cares about the guests’ comfort. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’m so grateful for the warm hospitality and would love to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s! As a family with a baby and a young child, it was perfect, peaceful and well equipped for our stay. We particularly loved having breakfast provided there in the mornings, and the view was fantastic! It is a short walk to Marlow city centre and we would definitely stay here again!

Jeanette was a very friendly and proactive host, everything in the annex was just as it should be and the milk, bread, jam, butter were a lovely touch. Thanks Jeanette I will be back.

We had a lovely short stay at Joanne's. The accommodation was spacious and spotless. Bedroom was quiet with no traffic noise. A great location with Hampton Court, local restaurants and shops all within an easy walk.

This is a beautifully appointed flat that is convenient to the Summertown Shops around the corner. The bus service into Oxford City Centre is frequent and an easy trip. This is also a good place to catch the bus to Blenheim Palace. This charming flat is on a quiet street and Francesca is a terrific host.

We came to Oxford because my daughter had to have an operation and when we got there it was like traveling from home to home. The flat was clean and tidy and felt homely. The flat was a walk away from the hospital. Umu always communicated with us and if there was anything we needed she was just a message away. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

The flat is beautiful stairs quite steep lovely bedroom and lounge. It’s a three minute walk to the perch an amazing pub with garden and great food. It’s half an hour river walk to the trout another amazing pub with views. The walk to Oxford is half an hour across fields and along the river. Easy walk and beautiful. There is a Waitrose few minutes drive away. The welcome back was lovely. The hosts so lovely . The garden beautiful. This is our second visit and will not be our last.

A perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter at university. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast and a good coffee machine were an added bonus. We will be back soon!

Davina was so lovely to meet during our stay! She offered to put out a badminton set and umbrella for us to maximise the summer sun. We got to hear loads about the surrounding area, including brilliant information about the local peacocks! (Which we heard during our stay!)

The apartment was comfortable and quiet. The location was beautiful, and Jayne was very helpful and responsive. Also, it was an easy walk to the terrific Half Moon pub.

Christine was very hospitable, attentive and helpful :) she helped us make reservations at a local pub, she gave us a phone number for the local cab that helped us when we couldn’t find a ride to the train station, she greeted us and offered us tea and had non dairy milk which was awesome, her breakfast in the morning was delicious and I felt very comfortable and at home here. Beautiful garden that was nice to walk around. Cute town that is walkable and peaceful. I would stay here again everything was lovely.

Nicola has a lovely house, the bed was comfy and the room was lovely I had a friendly welcome and I would definitely stay there again

This was my third visit to Laura's place. Great value and close to Twickenham stadium. Laura is always quick to respond and help when needed. Plenty of space for two people and equipped with everything you might need.

Another enjoyable stay with Georgina, James and family. We are always made to feel very welcome and relaxed within their family home.

We had a fabulous two night stay with David in his 400 year-old property. He showed us round and allowed us full use of the kitchen and large garden. We thoroughly enjoyed David's company over breakfast and dinner. Both bathrooms are downstairs shared with other guests and the host. Highly recommended

Julia is the perfect host. Very attentive and proactive. Nothing is too much trouble for her and it’s obvious to me that she is a real people person and a delightful character. The house is absolutely stunning as are the grounds in which it sits. The whole property reminds me of a fairytale. I cannot recommend Julia’s house highly enough. I cannot end this review without a mention of the fantastic breakfast. Everything you need for a peaceful stay. Thank you Julia.
