You will need to have your own transport when staying with us as public transport is almost non-existent with only 2 buses a day. We have offroad parking. Guest room separate to the main house. Its a large studio room with en-suite. We're out in the country on a large lifestyle block, only 5mins from Inglewood which is a great little town, and 20mins from New Plymouth. Its a peaceful spot with a great view of Mt Taranaki from our garden. Our place is shared with 2 dogs (outside dogs), 3 cats (probably wouldn't see them), chickens and cattle on the farm From Sept - Oct we have lambs that are being hand fed. :-)

Thanks so much, the place was lovely and exactly what I needed. Convenient and quiet with space for my dog inside and out. The track across the road by the river was a great place to walk. Everything neat and clean.

We loved so much Rob’s place that we extended it even though the weather was not looking good for outdoor activities. It is very private, quiet and spacious. We had a lot of luggage but no issues to handle them in the house. Super comfortable bed, linen and fully equipped kitchen. There was also coffee, instant noodles and granola available, along with salt, pepper and oil which was great as we wanted to cook some local food during our stay. The washing machine made all the difference considering all the hiking and trail running we were doing in the area. Highly recommend this place.

Even though it was a short stay, loved staying at Marlene’s little igloo. It was a nice, cozy and fantastic place out in the quiet and serene part of town. Marlene’s additional touch of hospitable things left around the place just added to the beautiful experience. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit. Marlene herself, makes you feel at home by communicating well too.

An absolutely amazing place to stay — I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house itself is stunning, so thoughtfully designed and beautifully built. The beach below is breathtaking, and being able to walk all the way to the shipwreck made it even more special. The tennis court is a rare treat and impeccably maintained — such a lovely surprise to have on-site. Truly a spectacular spot in every way.
