It was right place what I wanted. Very peaceful area. Very friendly host. All of her family was great. Enjoyed homely cooked local food. Only thing one should keep in mind, to reach their home you have go through some steps which is very dificult for older people as well as who has knee problems. 😀

We had an amazing 2-night stay at this lovely homestay in Lebong. Located in the serene outskirts of Darjeeling, it was the perfect escape from the rushed crowd and noise of the main town. The surroundings were quiet, green, and absolutely beautiful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight,simple, tasty, and truly home-like. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and soaking in the peaceful vibes. If you're looking for a calm, authentic experience away from the touristy chaos, this homestay is a gem. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to return!

Its a great place and great hospitality by Swarnim and Family.The surroundings are beautiful. The only concern is the off road at the end to reach the property.Only a Tata Sumo can reach near the property, other vehicles won’t make it.The off road can scare you specially if you are travelling with elders or children. And there is a little hiking needed to reach the property. If the off road and the little hike is not a problem then the property is an ideal place to sit around and enjoy the mountains. Rooms are clean,also they will do cleaning and arrangements as per request.There are 3 connected bedrooms and a separate room. Room size is a bit small but should not be a concern. Kitchen is downstairs and the living as well.A bit stiff stairs. Overall a very nice property if you want to enjoy silence and nature.Also a good wfm destination.Hospitality is great,they will cook homely and tasty foods. leaches might be a concern outside in rainy seasons,though its common in Darjeeling.

We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The property features a beautiful garden—perfect for relaxing and enjoying some peaceful downtime. Prashant ji was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He guided us with our local travel plans and shared excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s home—a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommended!

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful workation away from the city bustle, and we couldn’t have found a better place than this place at Takdah. Nestled in serene surroundings with stunning valley views, the stay had everything we needed — strong Wi-Fi for work, cozy corners to unwind, adorable furry friends, and the most delicious, homely food. What truly made our five-day escape special was the warm hospitality of our amazing host, Ramita ma’am, and the incredible kids at the stay, Ganga and Namrata. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, pampering us with kindness and mouthwatering meals. If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating workation spot — this is it. We had a lovely stay at Tuhina and Parimal’s place! The room had beautiful views of the surrounding greenery and was cozy and clean— perfect for a relaxing getaway. When we arrived, we were greeted with fresh roses on the table, which instantly made us feel welcome. The host’s home is stunning — thoughtfully designed, peaceful, and filled with a warm, homely vibe. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Every meal was flavorful, fresh. We had a wonderful stay at Sangeeta’s charming homestay, The Attik!! I traveled with my wife and two sons, and the space was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Uday and Sangeeta were extremely warm and gracious hosts—very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. Uday uncle offered us great local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. While, Sangeeta auntie made our stay memorable with extremely delicious breakfast during our stay! It felt like home during the interesting and warm conversations with uncle and we were touched with the humble and grounded gesture of uncle and auntie! Overall, the neighborhood was peaceful and safe, ideal for families. We truly appreciated the thoughtful aesthetic touches and personalized hospitality that made our trip special.
