We felt very comfortable, the apartment, especially the bedroom was larger and more beautiful than it looked in the pictures. It's incredibly quiet and undisturbed there - perfect for unwinding! The two dogs that belong to the farm are very sweet and friendly. But even if you are afraid of dogs, that would not be a problem, the dogs are by no means intrusive etc. We were particularly impressed by the black and white dog, which was able to find the same stone among thousands of black stones and then put it on your shoe - an adorable highlight!

Linda was an absolutely amazing host, she was very responsive and always so polite. The house is gorgeous, it had everything you could need and was spotless! I would definitely stay here again but for longer next time!

True studio set up but plenty of space for two adults. Shower/toilet private space included robes and houseshoes! Northern lights could be seen right from the couch. Proactive communication with hostess on any concerns & questions were promptly handled. Beautiful setting with sheep to escort you to your car in the morning; two waterfalls (merkjarfoss, seljalandsfoss) in short drive for after dinner viewing in October. Building shared with other airbnb guests, but separate entrances can allow for non-engagement. However it's always great when your neighbor knocks to let you know to come back out for more lights! Pleasure to learn the history of this property from the hostess. Property well labeled, and off of paved road from Hvolsvollur. Highly recommend for functional home-base for Selfoss to Vik region.

We have enjoyed this place, very peaceful and perfectly situated to visit the Golden Circle sites. The housing is quite basic, but sufficient and very comfortable. We recommend this place.

We had a great visit, and we loved this Airbnb! It was conveniently located, and it had plenty of space for our family of five! We would most definitely stay here again!

The apartment is beautifully designed with great attention to detail – I felt at home right away. The view into the greenery is absolutely stunning and makes for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

A very nice and spacious apartment with everything you need.

We stayed 2 nights in Elfa’s place during the summer. The instruction is clear and you have everything you need there. The apartment has a very good floor plans. You could definitely sleep peacefully if you have a company who snores. Elfa is responsive and even willing to let us pick up our stuff when we left and forgot our stuff in the fridge.

We loved staying here - it was peaceful and cosy. The inside is decorated beautifully and one of our favourite AirBnBs we've visited. The place was very clean. We loved seeing the horses on the road in and out and being greeted by Tara. Wished we'd stayed more than 1 night. 10/10

We stayed 3 nights to visit the surroundings of Selfoss and felt immediately comfortable. Quiet and peaceful place, away from the noise of the city. Clean, very well maintained and quiet. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to make it a base to see all the tourist attractions of the region.

The place is very clean and everything is new. The bed is very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like very much was that the bedding was rough.

We felt very welcome, there is enough space and a lot of rooms, it is very comfortable, everything we needed was available. And his house is centered between beautiful locations in Iceland. And every time I had a question, he would respond very fast.

Great stay. A quiet and very nice location near the Golden Circle, the Highlands... perfect. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped and the spa is a treat at the end of the day. Very good choice!!
