We loved the stay here! the view from the hot tub is amazing we spent so much time in it! and we were very lucky with the weather the cast said rain but we only got sun and the rain was in hella so we were very lucky for that. we also had some problems with the grill but atli helped out with that and we had a great time! i recommend this place if you like to be private and have amazing views from the hot tub. 10/10 would stay again.

This rental was ideal for our visit to the area. The location allowed us to travel either direction to get into hikes etc. The cabin itself is very cozy and had everything we needed. And having the hot tub and extra bathroom (from the porch) was very nice. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions or needs. We would definitely recommend and would come back ourselves. Jòna’s place was the cozy retreat we needed. The cabin flooded with beautiful sunlight in the mornings & at night we saw the Northern Lights. The bed & pillows were super comfy. We cooked breakfast & dinner every night & had everything we needed to do it. The road to get to the cabin goes from asphalt to gravel to asphalt & back to gravel but we were able to do it with a Toyota Yaris (2WD). It was so quiet & peaceful! We took a walk in the evenings on the road. There is a Kronan grocery store about 30 minutes away & a Bonus grocery store about 35 minutes the other way (on Route 1 aka Ring Road). There is also an Olis gas station within 30 minutes of the cabin & we had no problems using our credit card (w/ no pin #). Actually, this was a big concern based on videos I have watched about getting gas in Iceland but we had NO issues. You will not regret staying here! We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jòna!

The small cottage was absolutely charming, we felt very comfortable immediately. We got all the food in Akureyri, as the house is about 20 minutes away. The view of the landscape was very nice. We slept well and everything else we needed was available. If you don't necessarily want to sleep in the city, we can only recommend this accommodation.

This was our second stay at Einar and Daddi’s home and it was just as amazing as the first ❤️ We felt right at home immediately, so cozy by the fire after our excursions for the day. We watched the northern lights from the warmth of the home since there are windows everywhere, making it very easy to see, even if you do not want to go outside. We truly could not have asked for a better experience. We will be back again, it’s just a matter of time. Thank you all so much again for your hospitality ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was quaint with lots of character in a beautiful setting. It looked just like the photos. It was super clean, beds were very comfortable and the home was charming and perfect for our family of 5. We loved the hot tub! Sveinn communicated all instructions perfectly for a flawless stay! The location of this cottage is perfect for exploring the south coast with an easy quick drive to Skogafoss and Seljalandfoss and less than an hour from Vik! We had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend. We would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Iceland.

We booked this last minute after an unexpected cancellation in Reykjavik. Staying on an actual farm with sheep on the premises was magical, peaceful, and beautiful. The location was perfect on the way to Vik (about one hour away). The breakfast was perfect with delicious skyr—included in the price. We had dinner and drinks at Hygge 2km away. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

Excellent, we were very comfortable my wife and I, the house is great , highly recommended . It has everything including a large radiator. The beds are great . The place and very good access, ideal as a starting point for excursions. Highly recommended. Isalandia is incredible and this casita will be in our memories forever.

It was the prefect place for what we planned. It was very peaceful and easy to find. We were very comfortable. It would be a good place to see the northern lights but the weather was not on our side. Just one of those things. Thank you Stefan.

It has been a great stay. Everything is clean and perfectly arranged, ebough space (2 adults & 1 kids), very private and calm, very comfortable. Bathroom, heating, beds, table, kitchen stuff - everything was perfectly adapted to our needs. There is a small town (Hvolsvöllur) less than 10 mins away, where you can do grocery shopping, make your loundry as well as some restaurants and much more. A nice stay - thumbs up! One of our favorite accommodations.

Just as described with a gorgeous view! This was very nice stay for crew of 4 teens and 2 adults and a convenient location for South lceland sights!

We spent a lovely time in Lisbeth's cottage. Place was comfortable, modern, very clean and warm. In front of the cottage there was a convenient parking spot. Lisbeth was thoughtful and communicative host. Definitely can recommend!
