We had a wonderful time at Turid’s cabin. Truly incredible space, comfortable and cozy. Lots of things to do inside and outside the house. We rented one of the boats and had a beautiful couple of days out on the fjord. Turid and Audun also gifted us some very fresh eggs from their farm, were available at all times and helped us with recommendations and any questions we had. We loved it. We will return. A very magical place. 10/10

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with views of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with views of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks nearby, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The walk stupet naveset tronvik - on the flank there - is also well indicated. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice hiking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

You made our stay just so wonderful in Bergen.We loved our walk on our first day that you were able to help provide us with information for a walk in your woods around Mt Fløyen.Your charming home was like a home away from home for us with all the amenities appreciated. Washing machine & drier was amazing to have the use of thank you. Kitchen had all we needed for coffee making, fridge, dish washer & cooking. The appartment was very good value for Bergen & particularly lovely with a view out to the sea we enjoyed over breakfast from the front room each day & returning after long days sight seeing was easy to reach & very close to transport & Bryggen close by in easy 10min walking distance. Bedroom was very comfortable with thoughtful storage & hanging. We would highly recommend your beautiful place & we loved that you are a host that is quietly available in the background if we need🙏🏻😊

This place was a gem! The days flew by far too quickly, but the memories will not fade soon. We loved the long walks along the country roads and the fjord as well as the boat rides and enjoying hours talking and enjoying the scenery. Everyone in our party loved this place!

Thank you Arve and Lydia for a lovely stay. The apartment was beautifully presented, clean and spacious with gorgeous setting. It had everything we needed and more. East bus route straight into the centre of Bergen where we enjoyed a walking tour of Bryggen, the funicular railway to Moyen and a fjord experience. It was a perfect few days. Thank you.

We had a cozy two days, despite the bad weather. Very lovingly furnished cottage and hassle-free and easy communication with the host.

A fantastic house, large and completely furnished with a lot of love. The kitchen was filled with a lot of crockery and glassware, oil, herbs, coffee etc. A spacious bathroom and a great bed. And then a wonderful view - we saw the Hurtigruten boat sail past! For us, the place was great, a bit the end of the world, wonderfully quiet and a beautiful area for hiking. For groceries you had to drive 14 km, but with a little handy planning that's no problem. Hostess Bodil was very attentive and friendly. I can only recommend her house!

Our stay was wonderful. The bus system was close by to travel into town, and the view was magical. Everything we needed was provided and felt comfortable like home. If we travel to Bergen again, we will definitely stay again.

Trine's apartment was ideal for our 3 nights in Bergen. Easy to get to from the airport via a tram and very central to all the attractions. We would definitely recommend it or stay again if we come back to Bergen.

We had a wonderful stay. The view is phenomenal and the location is excellent. We took a cab initially, getting situated with suitcases and groceries. After that we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to town. The apartment is in a perfect spot for hiking or enjoying all that downtown Bergen has to offer. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well stocked. I would very much recommend it to others.

My husband and I were very happy we chose Torsten’s apartment. As all the reviews have said it’s better than the photos. Everything was super clean, the bed is comfortable and it is perfectly located. We would definitely return. I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and this one is what you always hope to find.

I stayed for a whole month at Signe's place and wish I could have stayed longer! The flat was super cosy and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the woods and the fjord. The Spar supermarket at Ask is reachable by foot or bicycle. Kleppesto, which is 30 minutes away by bus, has even more amenities including a pharmacy and hairdresser. I cooked most meals during my stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge and dishwasher. Laundry was also easy with the washing machine and drying rack. I had a car the first week (the flat has a dedicated parking space with the best view you could ever imagine) to visit Herdla and Hardanger. When visiting Bergen, it was much more fun to take the bus and boat! When I wasn't out and about, I spent my days reading in the hammock and fishing for pollack at the nearby dock. Signe is really lovely and kind, sharing lots of insider tips and even bringing me freshly baked bread on a few mornings. Her cats Julipuss and Sølve are so sweet too. Thank you!

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Well equipped, comfortable and clean apartment with a great view. Although quite small this apartment is cleverly designed and furnished to feel roomy. It felt like a home from home and we loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at Hege’s apartment. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well organised. We had everything we needed and much more. The location is great- being so close to all the attractions. Great choices for food options as well. Above all, a very helpful and attentive host! All added up to a wonderful stay for us in Bergen

We were very warmly welcomed and felt comfortable at the place right away. This is very clean and lovingly furnished. The location is really fantastic and exactly as described. The view of the fjord is beautiful and we had a great stay. We especially liked that we were simply allowed to take the kayak and the special hospitality of Trude and Bjørn.

Loved staying here! Perfect location that was quiet enough but yet super close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The hosts were great communicators and the Airbnb was set up nicely with very clear instructions for check in and out.

Mathilde was a wonderful host. She gave us great restaurant recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean and bright. The apartment is centrally located. It is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We absolutely loved our stay! We hope to be back.

I felt completely comfortable in the accommodation! It is very cozily furnished, super clean and a real little oasis of well-being. Everything you need was there – from kitchen equipment to loving details that made the stay particularly pleasant. The hostess was very warm and helpful. The connection to the city was also easily accessible by public transport. I can only recommend the place and would love to come back!
