House vacation rentals in Quamby Brook

We had the most beautiful 2-night stay at Chateau Clarence Point with our family from April 17th to 19th. The home was even better than the pictures—so spacious, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our little ones loved the playroom and all the space to run around, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful views of the Tamar River and cosy evenings by the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some lovely family meals, and the whole house just had such a calm, welcoming feel to it. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It was the perfect way to start our Tasmania trip—relaxing, comfortable, and full of lovely memories. Highly recommend this gem to anyone travelling with family or friends!

Beautiful place with view of the water. The children enjoyed the Platypus House & Seahorse World which was 5 min drive away. The house was comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches (eg board games - great for families). The jacuzzi on the deck was a lovely touch.

A superb cabin, can we call it a cabin, it’s more than that A place to relax looking out to a great view over the lake Very quiet with little to no traffic noise, totally off grid We were careful with our use of water and power only needing one light on for the main room Very comfortable beds, a log fire a good sized fridge, gas cooktop, microwave and hot shower There were games for kids and adults to play and my wife got settled down with one of the novels that were available What wasn’t there to like Not too far from a couple of pubs and fuel and easily within range of Deloraine, Mole creek caves and Cressy plus the other lakes in the area Erin was super helpful with tips on where to go to see or eat and with the log fire too Thank you so much for sharing your holiday home We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Our stay in Michael & Julie's beautiful home was everything we wanted. It was very well equiped with everything we needed, beds were super comfortable, house was spotless, kitchen well stocked, awesome location, walking distance to everything, amazing views out the front. Thank you Michael & Julie for providing a very comfortable home for our group of girls to make lotsa wonderful memories. :)

Eagle Nest III is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The view is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and the whole place feels like a dream come true. I was honestly amazed — didn’t expect to find a place this magical. The host was fabulous and gave super clear instructions. The outdoor hot tub is a must — easy to use and perfectly placed to soak in the stunning mountain views. The road to the unit is easy to access, and once you’re there, the peace and calm are unmatched. There’s a cozy fireplace with plenty of firewood, so no worries about keeping warm. Plus, the nearby farm animals (chickens, cows, bunny!) make the whole experience even more delightful. I left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly, highly recommended! :)

We had a fabulous stay—Riverscape was stunning, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Beyond all the usual comforts, we were treated to thoughtful extras like a bottle of Tassie wine, delicious shortbread biscuits, and even a pillow spray to help us unwind for a restful night’s sleep. We’d highly recommend Riverscape to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape. A heartfelt thank you to Michelle and Raechel for creating such a lovely space.

Forest Hall is a magnificent old house which Emma & Stu are very proud to own. The house is gorgeous with a huge garden which they are restoring to its original beauty. There are wonderful outbuildings, and the rooms inside the house are luxurious. The bedrooms have delicious linens, the library was our favourite spot with the fire going and a good book. The area has nice cafes and drives, it's a great base for this part of Tasmania. A chance to enjoy a geniune slice of romantic Tasmanian history.

Thrower house is one of the most beautiful homes I've ever been in. The view from the balcony in the mornings is to die for and the night view is equally magical. The house is very well appointed and had all the supplies for our 4 day stay. It was very evident that a lot of thought was put into designing and decorating the house. We felt very much at home during our stay there. The house is a stone's throw away from the Cataract Gorge and a very short drive away from the main attractions in the city. The house is located in a very serene and beautiful neighbourhood and the view from up the hill is absolutely breathtaking. Chris was a brilliant host and was very accomodating with our request for an early check in. He checked in on us regularly during the stay and gave us great local recommendations as well. I would totally recommend the Thrower house and would love to come back another time.

Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

A great property in a lovely part of the world with fantastic views over Bass Strait. Warm and cozy inside and very close to a number of very good vineyards and other attractions. The property is very clean, well maintained with a good kitchen and bathroom and has good, comfortable beds.

The chapel is a lovely place to stay. Inside, it has everything you need, the decor is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room and a peaceful, warm ambience. We appreciated the fresh bread, butter, milk and other supplies, especially as we arrived quite late. The two outdoor decks were great for admiring the wonderful views. It was nice to meet Peter and Claire - thanks so much for taking the time to show us the other historic buildings on your property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Alan’s place was absolutely gorgeous! The location is perfect if you’re looking to stay as close as possible to Cradle Mountain. It was great to come back to the house after a hike - warm, cosy (amazing underfloor heating) and surrounded by nature. You really feel immersed in the landscape. Highly recommend!

This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

All I can say is this place is amazing! My 6-year-old son didn’t want to leave. The morning view, with a touch of fog, was absolutely beautiful. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, which immediately made us feel at home. Ben Lomond ski base is nearby and we had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the snow. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer, but unfortunately, we couldn’t. We will definitely be back again!
