Central pet friendly home

Good accommodation in a great location. It is spacious, very well maintained and has everything what you need. The kitchen had even two good scissors. For some reason in most accommodation there are no scissors. We liked our stay a lot.

Traveller's Rest, a Caravan haven in Golden Bay

MaraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This tiny home was such a treat to stay at. It felt so peaceful and private. The pets that roam around are all very cute and sweet. It really is like another little world and the surroundings of the property are gorgeous. Having the beautiful springs just down the road was awesome as well we’re able to see them easily on our way back to Nelson. Lolly and Simon have really made this place so cozy and I’m so happy that we found this little gem.
A handcrafted bowl sink is situated on a wooden countertop, with a stylish faucet visible above. Large windows frame the serene view of greenery and distant hills, allowing natural light to illuminate the area.

Highlights - indoor fire, outdoor fire, stargazing, outdoor batch, no tv, location, sounds of nature, friendly cows, breakfast visitors (one duck and his pukeko mates). Lowlights - we only stayed one night! Will 100% be back!!

Modern Bach - Private waterfront access + Kayaks

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My stay at Ligar Bay was great and had everything I was looking for. The property had a private deck that was very relaxing to sit on while looking at the water. I found the house was warm and didn't need the heater even though it was cold outside. Would stay again.

Studio by the beach

I had a wonderful time here - such a beautiful location and my dog had a blast on the beach with Stella who was much better at bringing back sticks than him. And the shower is amazing!

Comfort, warm, sunny & tranquil

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cosy cabin perfect for sheltering from the rain after a days walking & exploring Golden Bay & Cape Farewell. Very well equipped with everything you need for self-catering (such as the hob, which not all ‘cabins’ have). Richard was friendly and helpful telling us about the local area. Thanks!
A well-maintained lawn appears in the foreground, bordered by hedges. Beyond, palm trees sway gently, overlooking a tranquil sea. The sky is bright with soft blue hues, enhancing the serene coastal atmosphere.

Patons Rock Cutie

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This is a wonderful place to stay for a few days or even for a long stay as Paton's Rock Cutie is well equipped and very comfortable. The outstanding factor is the amazing view enjoyed from a comfortable sofa or deck, with a long grassy garden and a hidden access to the beach - and the beach is spectacular! With easy access to Takaka for shopping and very close to other wonderful sites such as Pupu Springs and Milnethorpe, this is the perfect place for a relaxing stay. Lynda was very friendly and easy to communicate with too.
