Beachfront vacation rentals in Punta Uva

This was s last minute booking and we ended up getting in late at night. Kristel was very helpful at the late hour and we had a terrific stay! It was a little difficult to find in the dark and rain but easy to find in the daytime!!

This home is a gem in disguise. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. We came here for a week. It was a long drive from the San Jose international airport but well worth it. Very sweet local town. The people in the town are really nice. The food is absolutely delicious and clean. Ice cream is delicious. We had a wonderful vacation, celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday. We loved having the pool to relax at during the heat of the day. Great kitchen to make breakfast everyday. Grocery store is not far at all. The dog and 2 cats are so cute and sweet. I 100% recommend this beautiful paradise home to everyone. 🩷 Susana was fantastic!! Thank you to the owner for sharing your home

Honestly, this is the one. Rasta 420 friendly. Safe secure, private beach , nice pool, good restaurant, amazing host. Close enough to everything but far enough from everyone. This one is on my 100% stay again list. Pura Vida 🙌

Located in a paradisiacal garden where you can watch countless animals. Marise patiently showed us around and showed us a wide variety of animals. The property is located directly on the sea and Marise even provides beach towels. Another plus is the daily housekeeping. We highly recommend the fabulous place and would be happy to come back any time.

It was a great stay. Pretty close to Puerto Viejo center and to the beach, easy to go walking everywhere. Was very clean and the attention from Jerome was amazing.

To start Jerson is a super friendly , helpful and attentive person. And about the place you can walk to the nearest beach, to the supermarket, if you want to go out at night to eat because you prefer to stay in the tranquility of the hotel, Jerson congratulates you an express that offers you all kinds of food. The facilities are very nice , all very clean and super safe and quiet. I would recommend it to the thousand 👌🏽

Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Your space was everything we were wanting. Nice open, clean and a kitchen that had everything you would need to cook some meals. The air conditioning was also very nice to have.

This airbnb is exactly as the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Things to note is that only the lower bedrooms have AC. The upstairs living room was very nice! The house is private, but a lot further out from town so you’ll need transportation to and from as there are not many restaurants nearby. The host, Jorge was always very responsive and helpful. Overall we had such a great stay and can’t wait to be back.

Incredible experience in Puerto Viejo! The house is surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect for resting and disconnecting. You can hear the sounds of the forest and see animals from the garden, a unique experience! In addition, the beach is literally a minute's walk away, ideal for enjoying the sea at any time of day. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and very clean. The host was friendly and attentive at all times. Definitely a place I'd love to go back to. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and connection with nature without leaving the sea!

a very spacious place with access to a very beautiful beach

Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we had nothing short of an amazing stay here in Casa Cocles! Daniel was checking on us through the trip to make sure we knew of the local spots and must-visit areas. He also greeted us with some fresh cut fruit to munch which was very refreshing! The location is at a really convenient spot that allowed for worry-less travel between different activities. We ended up visiting the animal rescuer center, countless Puerto Viejo restaurants, Cahuita National Park, BriBri tribe territory, lots of beaches , etc and these all felt very accesible and easy to get to with or without a rental car. Some tours even offer to pick us up exactly at Casa Cocles for free! We were super grateful and happy with our stay, and will definitely be coming back here for future getaways!

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

A very pleasant night spent in this house in the tree. The accommodation is very clean and has all the necessary equipment. We were lulled by the sound of waves and animals. The accommodation is very well located, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Restaurants and convenience stores are close by. We can only recommend this place to you.

This is a really special place, felt very lucky to stay. Silvia was super helpful, and recommended things to do and places to eat.

We had a very nice time with our two children at Andrea's. The accommodation was just the right size for us, the location in nature very heavenly and the surroundings quiet with two beaches within walking distance. Excellent cleaning, communication and support from Andrea. Could not have been better.

He is very friendly, he is very flexible with the time also we arrived early and he always try to help us Definitely 1000% recommend 👍🏻

Overall our stay was great. We rented the white house in full accommodation so we had two bathrooms, two bedrooms and two kitchen spaces. The house is just as advertised in the photos, very comfortable and complete. I liked that they had a recycling and composting space. Before you book, I recommend: 1. Check the number of guests carefully before booking. The house sleeps 8, however my reservation was for 4 people and if we wanted to add someone we had to pay extra. 2. The house's space was totally private, but the property's garden is shared. There is another lodging behind, a cellar above the house and as the garden is very spacious, other vehicles also park. We had no problems with our car, but there was a little noise during the morning when the other cars were taken out. Definitely recommended and we look forward to coming back soon. Thanks to the girls at the front desk for their kindness.

Perfect location, the cabin is very close to the sea and the black beach is beautiful. near Puerto Viejo. 20 min walk to go to dinner or breakfast. The day walk along the beach is beautiful. Private accommodation and great for resting.

Sharon is an excellent host, helpful, always attentive to our concerns, providing us with precise directions, the accommodation met our expectations, as shown in the photos, very cozy, well furnished and with the necessary kitchen utensils. As a single suggestion, a railing next to the pool steps would be good for easier access for adults or children if they are part of the guests.

Happy House is the perfect name for this oasis! Our family was so lucky to get to stay there. The property is large and private. The covered patio ( we call it a California room in California) was amazing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen and living space was a great place for our family to relax after many adventurous days in Costa Rica. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. There were geckos and bugs in the covered patio area but my boys loved that part! The beach is beautiful but there is a rip current right in front of the house but we walked a short distance in both directions and found great swimmable ocean for our kids. It was a great end to our Costa Rican vacation! Thanks Steve for opening up your special space to visitors! Pura Vida!

Our group of 4 had an absolutely fantastic experience during our trip. The unit is gorgeous and is very conveniently located close to restaurants and supermarkets, as well as being within walking distance of secluded beaches. There were wild animals within the property itself and we were able to take videos of monkeys, agutí (small animals similar to a mini-capybara), and many different exotic birds. The master bedroom is reminiscent of something from a movie with its screened doors and the breeze coming from the water while you hear the wildlife. Both Pablo and Carlos were phenomenal during our visit and were the most responsive and accommodating hosts that I’ve dealt with to date. They went above and beyond what I would normally expect and it made the experience top notch. I recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a truly unique and beautiful place to stay while visiting the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and wants to experience the true meaning of “pura vida”.

Wonderful, private house on the beach. Easy to walk to a few restaurants. Responsive, flexible and friendly host. Would love to come back here again! Highly recommend 😊
